Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we agree with you before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.

Your heart to see those who are bound by lies set free is a reflection of the heart of God, for it is written, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. We also cling to the promise that Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6. That hunger is not from ourselves but is a work of the Holy Spirit, who stirs and convicts and draws us toward what is holy.

We lift up together the team you mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives. We pray for their salvation and for their eyes to be opened, for we know that all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. Education, position, and knowledge of the law cannot make a person righteous before God, and as you rightly observed, even those who are learned can engage in horrible sins when the heart is not surrendered to Christ. We do not boast and we do not look down on them, for we too are in need of mercy, but we humbly ask God to grant them repentance.

We pray that the precious blood of Jesus would cover those who are His, and that He would keep them in perfect peace and give them understanding in the midst of this trial. We ask that the Lord would teach all involved to choose what is righteous and compassionate, to love justice and to speak honestly, for the Lord desires truth in the inward parts and delights in those who walk uprightly.

We agree with your prayer from Psalm 51:17 that God desires a broken and contrite heart, and that such a heart He will not despise. We remember also that to obey is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. So we pray that God would work on their hearts to convict them of sin, to bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and to give them a hatred for sin so that they do not continue to live in it. May they come to regard human life as precious, made in the image of God, and may they turn from dishonest communication to speak the truth in love.

We thank God that the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26. When we do not know how to pray as we ought, He is interceding for us and for them continually. We join our faith with yours that God would stir their hearts and create within them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only Jesus can satisfy.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your throne and through whom alone we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Forgive sins as only You can through the cross, wash with the blood of Jesus, break the lies of the enemy, and let Your will be done. Create clean hearts and renew steadfast spirits within all those involved. Lead them from darkness into Your marvelous light, that they may hunger no more for deception but thirst for Your righteousness. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ on high and we trust You to bring forth justice and mercy according to Your perfect holiness. Amen.

We hear the weight in your prayer and the humility behind it. You are not asking from a place of looking down on others, but from genuine grief when truth is disregarded and people are harmed by dishonest words. That grief matters to God, and we are grateful you brought it to Him so honestly.

We join you in asking for that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness you described. Only God can work on the heart in that deep way, to move a person from knowing what is right to actually loving what is right and turning from what is wrong. Education and training cannot do that work, but prayer does invite the Holy Spirit to do what we cannot.

It is a good and right thing to keep bringing this team, their lawyers and representatives before the Lord as you have been. When the burden feels heavy, it can help to have a set time each day to lift them up briefly and then consciously place them back into God's hands, trusting Him to work in His timing and to guard your own heart with His peace as you wait.

Father, we lift this whole situation to You. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, and stir every heart involved to love truth and to act with compassion and honesty. Work in each heart so that sin is recognized and turned from, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in this relentless prayer, and we count it a good and right petition to ask the Lord for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

You have prayed according to the Scripture, for our Lord Himself has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. This hunger is itself a blessed sign, for when the soul craves righteousness as a man craves bread and water, it shows a work of grace within. The new affections expel the old, and the heart that once thirsted for pride or gain or self will, by divine grace, come to thirst for that which is holy and true. We pray with you that the Lord will create this holy hunger in these souls, that trifles may become trifles to them and the essential truth of God may become their only care.

You have well quoted the Psalm, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. God delights not in outward sacrifice, but in a heart that loathes its sin. We ask with you that He would work upon their hearts to show them their sin, to make them hate it and turn from it. For it is written, loathe it and I will grant you immediate pardon for the sake of the great atoning Sacrifice. That great sacrifice is Christ pierced for men, and His blood alone can cover sin and give peace and understanding. There is no other way of salvation, for a Saviour who is not divine can be no Saviour for us, and God will not lay sin to the charge of the sinner when He has already laid it upon His Substitute.

You ask that the truth shall set them free, and so it shall when it is fully believed. The truth of Christ received into the heart brings peace and joy, for He is the mold of truth into which the prepared mind must be delivered. We pray that they may come to know the truth of God for themselves, and that knowing it they may be made free indeed.

It grieves the heart to see any, however learned in the law, disregard human life and honest communication, yet we remember that affection for the godly should influence to godliness, and that God alone can strengthen the heart. Heart disease is dangerous, and many of God's people know what it is to have a weak heart, but the promise stands, Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. We pray that He who alone can strengthen the heart will do so for these lawyers and representatives, and for all who are chosen in Christ, that they may be taught to be righteous and compassionate.

Be encouraged that the Lord Jesus Christ lives to pray for sinners. While we pray on earth, He intercedes in heaven, and the Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to the will of God. Continue therefore to give your heart to God thoroughly and at once, for a heart that is halved is killed, and He asks for the whole heart not for what He may get from you, but for love of you and for your blessedness.

We commend this burden to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that His will be done, that sinners may be saved through faith in His blood, that broken hearts may be healed, and that all who hunger and thirst after righteousness may be filled. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for bringing this burden before the church.

Your desire for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is itself according to the will of God. As the Lord said, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink, and blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This thirst is not satisfied by human wisdom or by learning, but only by coming to Christ Himself, who gives living water that becomes in a person a well springing up into everlasting life. He draws no one by constraint, but calls those who are inflamed with desire to come and drink freely.

We pray with you for the team at that place and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Lord Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation, to have mercy upon them, to open their eyes to the truth that shall set them free, and to bring them to repentance and faith in Him. We pray that God would grant to any among them who are His people the covering of the blood of Christ, and peace and understanding, and that He would teach all to walk in righteousness and compassion.

You have spoken truly that education and knowledge of the law do not make a person righteous. As Scripture says, righteousness and holiness are of truth, not of outward form. Many who are learned still fall short of the glory of God, and all of us stand in need of mercy. Therefore we do not boast and we do not look down on others, but we humble ourselves, remembering that we also need a contrite heart.

We pray as you have prayed from Psalm 51, that God who does not delight in outward sacrifice alone would grant what only He can give, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up in pride or seek vengeance, but is quiet before God, ready to acknowledge sin and to turn from it. We ask the Lord to work in these hearts by His Holy Spirit, to bring compunction and true repentance, to cause them to hate sin and to forsake what is evil in His eyes, and to stir in them a sincere love for honest communication and for the dignity of human life.

We also pray that God would clothe His people with the breastplate of righteousness, which is a life of universal virtue that no adversary can pierce, and that He would make them firm and steadfast, sober and watchful, sustained in the conflict against spiritual wickedness. May He increase in all of us the fruits of righteousness, and teach us to walk in humility, prayer, and mercy, giving thanks for all things and seeking pardon through Christ.

We will continue to pray with you that the Lord would kindle this thirst and keep it burning, that those who now walk in lies would come to the living water and never thirst again, and that the will of the Father would be done. May the Holy Spirit intercede for us all according to the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
