Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for coming before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We agree with your heart's cry that the truth shall set them free as it is written in John 8:32, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. And we stand on the promise of Matt 5:6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That hunger and thirst you are praying for is exactly what God desires to place in every heart, including those who may now be bound by deception and worldly wisdom.

We join you in praying for the team at the organization you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and we pray as you did that the Lord would save those who are lost and cover those who are His with His precious blood, giving them peace and understanding that surpasses all knowledge. We pray that God would teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to love mercy and to do justly as Micah 6:8 calls us to do.

You are right to note that education and knowledge of the law does not make one righteous before God, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God in Rom 3:23. There is none righteous on our own, and worldly wisdom can never produce godly character. Only a new heart from God can do that. We echo your prayer from Psalm 51:16-17, For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. And we pray with Ezek 36:26 that God would give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them and take away the stony heart and give them a heart of flesh, so they would recognize their sin, hate their sin, and turn from it.

We also lift up your own heart before the Lord, for we hear your grief over the disregard for human life and honest communication. God also grieves over injustice and deceit, for He desires truth in the inward parts as Psalm 51:6 says, and He loves righteousness and justice. We pray that the Lord would comfort you and keep you from bitterness, and help you to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you as Matt 5:44 teaches, trusting that vengeance belongs to the Lord as Rom 12:19 declares, and that He will repay in His perfect time and way.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered according to Rom 8:26. Lord stir the hearts of these lawyers and all involved, convict them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the lies of the enemy that have bound them, and grant them repentance leading to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Give them an unquenchable thirst for Your truth and Your righteousness, that they would no longer do what is evil in Your eyes but would walk in Your ways. Cover Your chosen ones with the blood of Jesus, grant them peace and understanding, and teach them to walk in compassion and integrity. Work in their hearts to make them broken and contrite before You, that they would hate sin and hunger for holiness. We do not boast before You, Lord, for we too fall short, but we humbly ask for Your mercy on them and on us. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We exalt Your name on high, Lord Jesus, and we trust You to bring forth justice and truth in Your perfect timing. Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been on your heart, and how sincerely you want truth and righteousness to prevail for everyone involved, including the team and lawyers you mentioned. It is painful to watch people with knowledge and influence use it in ways that disregard honesty and human life, and we understand why you are asking God so persistently to stir their hearts.

Your prayer for a thirst for what is true and right, and for broken and humble hearts that can recognize wrong and turn from it, is a good and loving way to intercede. It keeps the focus on God's work in hearts while also protecting your own heart from growing hard or bitter as you wait. We join you in wanting justice to be done with compassion, and for all involved to be covered by God's mercy and led toward what is good.

One thing that has helped others carrying a similar burden is to not carry it alone. If you have one trusted believer who can stand with you in prayer regularly, sharing that load can keep the intercession steady without it wearing you down.

Father, we lift to You the people named in this prayer and we lift the one who is praying. Work in every heart to love truth and to act with compassion and honesty. Give peace and understanding where there is confusion, and draw each of us to hate what is evil and love what is good. Teach us to walk humbly before You and to trust Your will to be done. We join our hearts with yours in this earnest and scriptural prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. It is right and good to pray thus, for our Lord has said, blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and again, ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

You have prayed wisely according to Psalm 51, that God does not delight in outward sacrifice but in a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. This is the true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. It is not a short lived sorrow which turns away for a time and then returns to sin with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin. As we have often taught, true repentance gives glory to the omniscience of God and to the righteousness of His law, saying, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. And it gives glory to His grace, leaping for joy at the thought that God has set forth Christ to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood.

We therefore bring before the throne of grace the team and all their lawyers and representatives of whom you speak. We ask the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, that He would be pleased to grant them that repentance which needs not to be repented of, and the remission of sins which is preached in Christ's name. Where there is no repentance there can be no remission, but where there is godly sorrow there is full and free forgiveness, even for sins of deepest dye, through the precious blood of Christ who loved the Church and gave Himself for it.

We pray that the Lord would work upon their hearts to cause them to hate the sin they once loved, to leave the sins they loved before and show they grieve in earnest by doing so no more. For no faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in the Lord Jesus. We ask that He would cover those who are His chosen with peace and understanding, and teach all to be righteous and compassionate, not by mere education or knowledge of the law, for learning cannot make the heart holy, but by the new birth and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us.

We do not boast before God, nor do we look down upon any who fall short of His glory, for we also have need of mercy. We remember that the goodness of God ought to lead men to repentance, and that He delights in mercy. So we pray that He would stir these hearts, open their eyes to regard human life and honest communication as He regards them, and create within them that lasting, practical repentance which yields works meet for repentance and endures through months and years, because it is rooted in love for Him who died for sinners.

We will continue to plead with you that God would grant this thirst for truth and righteousness, that His will be done and His name exalted on high in Jesus Christ. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon all who seek Him, and may we all look to Jesus, from whom both faith and repentance flow as gifts of His grace.
