Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Your heart to pray even for those who you feel have acted unjustly reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. We are moved by your humility in acknowledging that education and position do not guarantee righteousness, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23, and we must leave vengeance and judgment to the Lord, for it is written Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19.

We agree with you that truth alone brings freedom, as Jesus said You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32, and that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them 2 Corinthians 4:4. We also cling to the promise Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matthew 5:6. The broken and contrite heart you prayed from Psalm 51:17 is indeed the sacrifice God will not despise, For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise Psalm 51:16-17.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace together and we lift up the team that was mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives to You. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your mercy and Your saving grace upon them. Where Satan has bound minds with lies, we ask that the light of Christ would shine and that the truth of Your Word would set them free. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over every believer who is chosen in Christ among them, covering them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Give them wisdom and understanding and teach them to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate.

Father, we ask that You would do what only You can do and give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, that You would take away the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26, so that they may recognize sin for what it is, hate what You hate, and turn from what is evil in Your eyes. Stir in them, Lord, that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only Your Holy Spirit can give, that they would no longer disregard human life and honest communication but would walk in integrity and fear of You. We pray that You would forgive sins as they repent and turn to Jesus, for You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. Let Your will be done in this situation as it is in heaven, and let Your name be exalted through justice, mercy, and repentance. We thank You, Holy Spirit, that You intercede for us with groanings that cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this intercession, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much James 5:16. Keep your own heart guarded from bitterness and keep praying with that broken and humble spirit, trusting that God is both just and merciful and that He is able to work on hearts that seem hard, to bring conviction, repentance, and a true hunger for His righteousness in His perfect timing.

We hear the heaviness in your prayer and we are grateful you brought it to us. You are carrying a burden for truth to prevail and for people who have done wrong to have their hearts softened, and that kind of intercession can be both holy and wearying.

What stood out to us is how you held both honesty and humility together, grieving the disregard for life and for honest communication, while also not wanting to look down on others and asking God to work in you as well as in them. That posture matters. When we have been hurt by dishonesty or injustice, there is often a gap between how we long for things to be made right and how they actually are, and it can stir both anger and sorrow that linger.

One thing that has helped others who pray as you do is to make a clear decision before God to release the right to get even and to entrust these people and this situation to Him, and then to let the emotions catch up over time. You can keep praying faithfully for their thirst for truth and righteousness without carrying the weight of changing them yourself. It can help to set a dedicated time to bring them before the Lord, and when the thoughts return later, gently remind yourself you have already placed them in His hands.

Father, we lift this burden to You in Jesus' name. Give our friend peace as they intercede, guard their heart from bitterness, and work in the hearts of those they are praying for that they would turn from what is evil and hunger for what is true and right. Let Your will be done, and sustain our friend with Your presence. Amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is a right and blessed burden that you bring before the Lord. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is itself a mark of grace, for our Lord has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. This is not a hunger for trifles, nor for wealth nor for pride, but for that one thing which Christ Himself desired, that we and those for whom we pray should be made righteous before God and true in heart and life.

We join you in praying that the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation, would work by His Spirit upon those of whom you speak, even the team and those learned in the law. Though men may be educated and skilled, we cannot expect the educated to act righteously apart from grace, for the heart must be changed by God Himself. As you have well quoted, the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. We pray that He would grant to them such a heart, that they would see their sin as sin against God, mourn for it, loathe it, and hate it enough to turn from it. True sorrow looks Godward and weeps because it has grieved Him who was pierced for men.

Be encouraged that the Lord Jesus Christ lives to make intercession for transgressors. He lives to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a prayer that God delights to answer, for He alone can strengthen the heart that is weak and give a fountain of living water where there was flinty rock. Oh that He would smite the heart as Moses smote the rock, that it might flow with godly sorrow and with longing after Christ who is the Truth.

We pray also for those who are chosen and who know Christ, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them, and that they would be taught to be righteous and compassionate, putting away pride and putting on the sackcloth of humility and confession where needed. May the Lord make all who hunger after Him to feed upon a whole Christ and to be satisfied with royal dainties, and may that hunger expel all lesser hungers for gain or for self.

Continue to bring this before the throne of grace. He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and He will not despise the cry of a broken heart that seeks His glory and the good of souls. May His will be done, and may He grant to you and to those for whom you intercede a growing thirst for His truth and His righteousness, till you are filled from His fullness.
