Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we stand with you in Jesus name as you intercede for the team at the organization you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives.

Your heart reflects the heart of God who desires truth in the innermost being and who calls us to pray even for those who oppose us. It is right that you do not boast and do not look down on them, for we all fall short. As it is written, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23. And God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. We are also reminded that wisdom and education alone cannot make a person righteous, for the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Psalm 111:10 and we must be born again by the Spirit.

You prayed that the truth shall set you free and we cling to that promise where Jesus said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. Jesus Himself is the truth, for He said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Only through Him can the lies of the enemy be broken and hearts be turned from darkness to light.

We love your reference to Psalm 51:16-17, For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. This is exactly what we ask God to do, to give them a new heart. As He promised, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26. We pray that their hearts would be broken over sin and that they would hate what God hates and love what God loves, that they would no longer disregard human life and honest communication but would walk in righteousness and compassion.

We also rejoice that you prayed in Jesus name and asked for His precious blood to cover those who are His. There is power in that blood to forgive and to cleanse and to give peace that passes understanding. We pray for those among them who are chosen and who know Christ, that God would strengthen them, cover them, and give them peace and understanding and courage to stand for truth even when pressured to do otherwise.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this team and upon each lawyer and legal representative involved. Remove the blindness that Satan has placed over their eyes and let them see the truth as it is in Jesus. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and for righteousness, as You promised, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matthew 5:6. Create in them broken and contrite hearts that truly repent and turn from every evil way. Forgive their sins through the blood of Jesus where there is repentance, and restrain them from doing what is evil in Your eyes. Teach them to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with You Micah 6:8. For those who belong to You, cover them with Your blood, guard them, grant them wisdom and peace and a clear voice for honesty. Let Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26 continue to intercede for them as well. We pray that truth and honest communication would prevail and that human life would be honored as made in Your image. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ on high and we trust Your perfect justice and Your perfect mercy. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer with love and without vengeance, for it is written, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Keep hungering for righteousness yourself and trust that God hears the prayers of the righteous and will act in His perfect timing.

We thank you for bringing this deep burden before the Lord so honestly. We hear how much it grieves you to see truth disregarded and human life treated lightly, especially by those you expected to uphold justice. It would be easy to become hardened, and we are encouraged that you are choosing prayer instead.

What you describe, asking God to work on their hearts while also asking for your own heart to stay humble and not boastful, reflects a real kind of release. Making the decision to want good for those who have done wrong, to pray for their turning and not for revenge, is one thing. The feelings of hurt and anger that linger after being wronged often take longer to settle, even after that decision is made. Both are part of walking this out, and it is normal for the emotions to need time.

One simple practice that may help you carry this without it wearing you down is to give this prayer a set place. When the grief rises during the day, briefly turn the matter over to God again in a short prayer and then return to what is before you, trusting He is hearing and working.

Father, we bring this team and their representatives before You in Jesus name. Work in their hearts to love truth and righteousness, bring conviction where needed and mercy where You have chosen, and guard our friend with Your peace and understanding as they wait on You. Let Your will be done. Amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is itself according to the mind of God, and it is right that you should bring these souls before His throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other.

You have prayed wisely from Psalm 51, that God would give a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart, which He will not despise. This is the true sacrifice that He requires. We may not expect that education or knowledge of the law will keep a man from sin, for the heart is carnal, sold under sin, and the law is holy and just and good, but the fault lies in us. Whether learned or unlearned, all have fallen short of His glory and need the same mercy.

Take comfort that true repentance is not a short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater appetite, but it is the work of the Spirit of God. Such repentance gives glory to the omniscience of God and gives glory to the righteousness of God in His law, saying without quarrel, Thy law is holy, the fault is with me. It is well described as to leave the sins we loved before and to show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. It hates sin, it turns from present sin because of love to God who died for us, and it looks to Jesus who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin and who shed His precious blood for His people.

You grieve as you ought over the disregard for human life and for honest communication, for the Lord loves truth and righteousness. Pray on that He would stir their hearts indeed, and remember that repentance and remission of sins are to be preached in Christ's name, and that where there is real sorrow for sin and a complete change of mind with regard to sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit of God and is as much a gift of His grace as faith itself. No faith can be genuine but such as is consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Christ. The goodness of God is meant to lead sinners to repentance, for He spares and He blesses that they may turn to Him.

Therefore continue in relentless prayer. Ask that the Lord would work upon those you have named, that they may see their sin as God sees it, hate it, and forsake it, and that they may look to Jesus and find pardon, for there is pardon for crimes of deepest dye, a pardon bought with Jesus blood, to all who truly repent and trust Him. And for those who are chosen and are in Christ, pray that His blood may cover them and that they may have peace and understanding and be taught to be righteous and compassionate, bearing works meet for repentance that are practical and lasting, not for a day or a month, but enduring by His grace.

May the Lord, the Sun of Righteousness, shine upon you and upon those for whom you pray, and give you that sweet sorrow for sin at the feet of Jesus which is not bitter but a rare delight, and may He answer according to His will, to the praise of His holiness and the glory of His Son. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in this prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank God for the burden He has put on your heart to intercede in this way.

Your prayer reflects what our Lord taught when He said, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. As you have noted, this is not a casual wish but a deep thirst like a thirsty person longing for water. Jesus Himself stood and cried, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He draws no one by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire to come willingly to Him, and He promises that those who believe in Him will receive living water.

You are right to pray with Psalm 51 that God would work in the heart. God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but in a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. That is the true righteousness and holiness of truth, not a mere outward form or the knowledge that comes from education or position, but a new creation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ and the washing of renewal. We all fall short of His glory, whether learned or unlearned, and all need the forgiveness that comes only through the blood of Jesus.

So we pray with you in Jesus name:

Heavenly Father, we ask that by Your Holy Spirit You would stir the hearts of the team you mentioned and their lawyers and representatives. Bring conviction of sin and a true hatred of sin, and grant them a broken and contrite heart that turns to You in repentance. Open their eyes to the truth that sets free, which is found in Jesus Christ alone, and give them an unquenchable thirst for Your righteousness and for honest and compassionate ways. Forgive sin through the precious blood of Christ for all who repent and believe, and teach those who belong to You to walk in righteousness as with a breastplate, firm in doing what is right and merciful. Let Your will be done and let Your name be exalted.

We encourage you to continue in this relentless prayer, trusting that God hears those who seek Him with hunger for what is right. He promises to fill those who truly hunger and thirst for righteousness, and He is patient and merciful, not desiring that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We stand with you, asking for peace and understanding that comes only in Christ for those who are His, and for saving grace for those who are still bound in darkness, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth.
