We join you in bringing this desire for a godly wife before the Lord and we thank Him for putting this longing for marriage on your heart. God created marriage and He calls it good and holy, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. For this cause a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24. We hear your prayer that she would align with you and be everything you have dreamed of, and we want to gently encourage you to align your dreams with what God says is good for you, for His will is perfect and far better than our own imagination.
We pray that the Lord will lead you to a woman who loves Him first, because a marriage that honors God must be built on shared faith in Jesus Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. The courtship between a man and a woman who are believers should be with the clear goal of holy marriage, not simply a partnership or dating for its own sake. Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Proverbs 18:22. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30. We encourage you to seek a wife who fears the Lord, who will be your helpmate and fellow heir of grace, and we also encourage you to prepare yourself now to be the godly husband and spiritual leader she will need, loving her as Christ loved the church.
We notice you prayed to the Lord, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we can boldly bring your request for a wife before the throne of grace.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this brother to You. You know his heart and his deep desire for a godly marriage. We ask that You prepare him and prepare the woman You have for him. Grant him patience and purity as he waits, and keep him from fornication and from any intimacy outside of marriage, for You have said marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled. Hebrews 13:4. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to him. Matthew 6:33. Lead him to a faithful daughter of Yours who loves You with all her heart, who will align with him in faith, in purpose, and in calling, and who together with him will build a Christ centered home. If it is Your will, bring her into his life in Your perfect timing, and give them both discernment and wisdom as they seek to court with marriage in view. Let their future marriage reflect Your love and Your covenant faithfulness. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage you to delight yourself in Yahweh while you wait, for He will give you the desires of your heart as your desires are shaped by Him. Psalm 37:4. Spend this season growing in the Word, in prayer, in fellowship with other believers, and in serving the Lord. Guard your heart and your body in holiness, and trust that the Lord who sees you and knows your need will not withhold what is good from those who walk uprightly. We will continue to pray that the Lord brings a godly wife into your life soon according to His perfect will and timing.

Your prayer for a godly companion is heard, and it is a good thing to bring such a desire before the Lord. You may seek a wife, and you shall not do ill if you seek aright, but seek first your God. Let your rule be, first an altar, then a tent. Our Savior has said, Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
There is a danger that we seek the gift and forget the Giver, that we seek a happy home and forget to seek the Lord who alone can make a home happy. See to it that your seeking is an honest seeking of the Lord Himself. Not merely that you would have one to please your eye or to fulfill your dream, but that you would have a helper fitted to walk with you in the way to heaven, to build with you a household where Christ is honored. The Lord must be sought with a true heart, not with a selfish motive, and when the whole life becomes a seeking of Him, He will not withhold any good thing from them that walk uprightly.
Learn also to wait upon the Lord. We have a waiting God who waits that He might be gracious, and He would have a waiting people who wait in hope and not in despair. They that seek the Lord early shall find Him, and they that wait patiently upon Him shall find that waiting turns to a glorious transaction of grace in due season. Do not grow weary if the answer tarries. If your petition is according to His will and promise, plead the blood of Jesus about it, and say, My soul, wait. While you wait, be preparing yourself to be the husband that a godly woman would need, a man rooted in the Word, sober, prayerful, diligent in calling upon His name in every circumstance.
Pray then not simply for one who aligns with your preferences, but for one who is aligned with Christ. Marriage as God has ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to the union of husband and wife belongs within that covenant alone. Seek therefore a woman who loves the Lord Jesus Christ above all, who trusts in Him alone for salvation, whose life shows that she has passed from seeking self to seeking the Lord. Such an equal yoke is the only ground for lasting joy, and such a oneness will make your home the more sacred for being consecrated to Christ.
