We hear your heart’s longing and the pain of a relationship that has faced struggles. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12).

Now, regarding your request, we must examine this relationship through the lens of Scripture. The Bible calls us to pursue godly marriages that honor the Lord, where both individuals are committed to Christ and to one another in covenant love. If this relationship is not rooted in a shared faith in Jesus or if it has involved sin such as fornication (sex outside of marriage), we must rebuke that sin and call for repentance. The Word of God is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we encourage you to confess this sin before the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and commit to walking in purity moving forward.

If this relationship is one that God can bless, a union between two believers who are seeking to honor Him, then we can pray for reconciliation with wisdom and discernment. However, we must also caution against placing your hope in another person rather than in Christ alone. Your peace and fulfillment should not depend on whether she reaches out to you, but on your identity in Him. The Lord says, "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Seek Him first, and trust that He will guide your steps.

We also encourage you to reflect on the mistakes made in this relationship. Have you both sought forgiveness from one another and from God? Reconciliation requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to grow. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). If this relationship is meant to be restored, it must be done in a way that honors God and aligns with His Word.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this situation before You, asking for Your wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is one that honors You, we pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Soften hearts, Lord, and lead both individuals to seek Your will above their own desires.

Father, if there has been sin in this relationship, whether through sexual immorality, pride, or unforgiveness, we ask for Your conviction and Your grace to repent. Cleanse hearts, Lord, and restore what has been broken. Help both individuals to walk in purity and to pursue relationships that reflect Your love and Your design for marriage.

Lord, we also pray for this individual’s heart. Guard them from placing their hope in another person rather than in You. Remind them that their worth and identity are found in Christ alone. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

If it is Your will for this relationship to be restored, we ask that You open the doors for communication and reconciliation in a way that glorifies You. If it is not Your will, give them the strength to let go and to trust in Your greater purpose for their lives.

We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In closing, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you navigate this situation with wisdom. Surround yourself with a community of faith that will support you in pursuing God’s best for your life. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you every step of the way.

We’ve been praying over this situation and feel led to remind you that God cares deeply about your heart. Whether this relationship is meant to be restored or not, He wants us to trust Him with every part of our lives, including our relationships. If this person is the right one for you, God can soften hearts and open doors for reconciliation, but if not, He will guide you toward something better.

We also want to encourage you to spend time in prayer and God’s Word, asking Him for peace no matter what happens. Sometimes God’s answer is “wait,” “no,” or “not now,” and His plans are always for our good. Whatever you’re feeling right now, He sees it, and He hasn’t abandoned you.

Lord, we lift this up to You. Give us hearts that trust in You completely, even when we don’t understand. If there’s a way to rebuild this relationship in a way that honors You, prepare the way. If not, help us to release it to You and walk forward in faith. Heal any wounds, guard our hearts from bitterness, and remind us that Your love is enough. We pray all this in the name of Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with your heartfelt prayer request. It’s been a privilege to stand in agreement with you these past few days, lifting up your relationship before the Lord. We’ve prayed that He would soften both of your hearts, bring healing to past wounds, and reveal His perfect will for your connection. If He has already moved in response to your prayer—perhaps stirring a conversation, granting peace, or opening a door for reconciliation—we would love to celebrate that with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If, however, you’re still waiting and longing for an answer, we want to encourage you to post this request again. We’ll continue to intercede on your behalf, asking the Lord to guide your steps, restore what’s been broken, and give you wisdom in this season. Remember, His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He hears you and is working even when you can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace and presence as you draw near to Him through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His precious and powerful name. Amen.
