The text "Relationship/friendship" does not contai

We hear the longing in your heart as you have asked the Lord to have this person text or call you, and to show you this week if you are meant to speak again. We join with you in bringing this before the Father and we want to seek His will together with you in Jesus name.

We understand how heavy waiting can feel, and how much you desire a clear sign. Yet scripture reminds us to trust the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths Proverbs 3:5-6. We are also taught to wait for the Lord, be strong and let your heart take courage, yes wait for the Lord Psalm 27:14. When we set a timeline for God such as asking to hear this week, we can unintentionally put our own desire ahead of His perfect timing and will. God does hear our prayers, but He answers according to what is best for us, for this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us 1 John 5:14. We gently encourage you to surrender the outcome and the timing to Him, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28, and that His plans for you are for peace and to give you hope Jeremiah 29:11. We also remember do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also want to speak to the nature of this relationship and friendship as you described it. If this is a friendship, we pray it would be a godly friendship that encourages you both toward Christ and purity. If there are romantic feelings involved, we want to encourage you in biblical principles. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed it, and that any romantic interest should be approached as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply as a boyfriend or girlfriend or partner relationship. Scripture teaches us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14 and to seek a godly spouse who will help you honor the Lord in marriage. We also must remember that if this relationship involves romantic love, God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to keep the marriage bed pure, for every other sin is outside the body but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18, and that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication which God calls us to turn from. We do not know the full details of your situation, but we encourage you to examine whether this connection is leading you closer to Christ and toward a Christ centered marriage if that is His will, or whether it is drawing you away from Him.

We noticed you referred to Lord in your request but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the name and the heart of the person they are waiting to hear from, and You know the longing and uncertainty they feel. We ask that Your will be done in this relationship and friendship. If it is Your will for communication to be restored, we ask that You open that door in Your perfect timing and in a way that honors You. If it is not Your will, we ask that You give grace to accept it, to heal any hurt, and to close the door gently with Your peace. Help our friend to seek You first above any person, to delight in You and trust You to give the desires of their heart as they align with Your will Psalm 37:4. Guard their heart from anxiety and from testing You, and instead fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If this interest is romantic, we pray You would guide them toward courtship that honors You, toward a godly marriage if that is Your plan, and that You would keep them pure and equally yoked with a fellow believer. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, deepen their faith, and help them to rest in Your love and timing. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and in the Word, seeking the Lord daily and seeking wise counsel from mature believers around you. Keep your heart open to what God may be teaching you in this season of waiting, and trust that whether He brings reconciliation or leads you in a different direction, He is faithful and He loves you deeply.

We hear your heart in this prayer, hoping to hear from ### and asking God to make clear whether you are meant to speak again. Waiting for a text or call can make the days feel long, especially when you care deeply and just want an answer.

We understand loneliness can settle in during that waiting. It helps to remember you are not forgotten even when your phone is quiet, and God is near in that in between.

One small step that has helped others in this kind of waiting is to set a gentle boundary around checking for a message. You can bring your hope to God honestly, leave the outcome with Him, and then turn your attention to the people and places right around you this week. A conversation with a trusted friend, time in worship with other believers, or simply staying engaged in your normal routines can ease the ache of waiting and keep your heart steady whether or not you hear back.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your peace to guard their heart this week. Give wisdom about this friendship, comfort in loneliness, and clarity to trust Your will above any hoped for message. Lead with Your kindness and help them sense Your presence each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Abstinence and sobriety and sexual purity and love. Thank you God. Hope Spirit. Faith and prayer and devotion. Gods word. Lord Yeshuas name. Repentance of my sin of lust. That I would love the Lord and get married and hate aduktery and fornication and lust. Those woman who tempt me for adultery to sin agasint the Lord. And then I am punished everything and I can barely escape it Lord have mercy on me a sinner. Lord Yeshua have mercy on me. A sinner.

Your prayer has been heard, and it is good that you have brought the burden of your heart before the Lord, for He is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and He brings His people to wait upon Him.

The Scripture says, My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him, and again, Blessed are all they that wait for Him. This is the blessed posture for an anxious heart, to be silent before God, to rest calm and undisturbed, not trusting to the arm of flesh nor looking to the changeable creature, but waiting only upon the Lord.

You ask that you might hear from one whom you hold dear this week, if it be according to the Lord's will. Learn then what it is to wait upon God expectantly and patiently. God's waiting people wait upon God Himself, not merely upon an answer from a fellow creature. They say, My soul, wait only upon God. If you had grace just to turn your eye to God, you might walk straight on in confidence, knowing that they that wait on the Lord shall not want any good thing. The right kind of independency is the independency of the one who knows no dependence except upon God.

Therefore bring your desire before Him and leave it there. Pray not only for what your heart longs for, but that the Lord's will may be done, and that you may be content with His will, whatever it may be. He rides upon the heavens for the help of His people and cannot be stayed nor delayed, and He will clear the road for you in the path of duty. If this friendship or relationship is for your good and for His glory, He can open the door in His own time. If it is not, His withholding is also mercy.

Seek first that you are found in Christ, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, His blood cleansing from all sin, He being Surety and Substitute for all who trust Him. Where God begins a good work, He will carry it on to completion. Let your chief prayer be that your heart may be kept close to Him, that His law may be written there, and that you may be preserved in holiness. In all relationships, seek to honor Him, remembering that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that purity and faithfulness belong to His design for our good.

We pray for you that the Lord would quiet your spirit, that you would learn to wait only upon Him, that you would trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength, and that whether the answer you desire comes this week or not, you may find your expectation fulfilled in Him, and be kept in perfect peace as you look to Him alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
