We hear your heart’s cry for restoration and peace in what you describe as your relationship, and we come before the Lord with you, seeking His wisdom and intervention. First, we must address some critical matters with love and truth, for the Word of God is our foundation and guide in all things.

You mention a desire to fix your relationship, but we must ask: Is this a marriage, or is it a courtship leading toward marriage? Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this is not a marriage, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship is honoring to the Lord. Courtship should have the goal of marriage, and both individuals should be committed to living according to God’s design. If this is not the case, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for your life and whether this relationship aligns with His purposes.

You also speak of "unwanted guests," "negative baggage," and "energy," which are not terms rooted in Scripture. The Bible does not speak of "energy" in the way the world does but instead warns us about spiritual influences—specifically, the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:12). If there are people in your girlfriend’s life who are a bad influence, we must examine whether their presence is drawing either of you away from the Lord. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." If these friends are leading her—or you—away from godly living, this is a serious concern that must be addressed with truth and love.

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and commit to following Him. This is the first and most important step in aligning your life—and any relationship—with God’s will.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your wisdom, discernment, and intervention. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will for this relationship. If it is Your desire for it to continue, we pray that You would purify it, removing any ungodly influences and drawing both individuals closer to You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of jealousy, strife, or division that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship—or against Your purposes—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would surround both individuals with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You. Remove anyone from their lives who does not align with Your Word or who seeks to lead them astray.

We pray for repentance where there has been sin—whether in thought, word, or deed. If there has been sexual immorality, we ask for Your forgiveness and healing, for Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You would restore purity and holiness to this relationship, that it may honor You in every way.

Father, we also pray for wisdom. Give both individuals the discernment to recognize what is of You and what is not. Help them to seek You first above all else, for Your Word says that if we seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). If this relationship is not in Your will, we ask that You would make that clear and give both individuals the strength to walk away, trusting in Your perfect plan.

Lord, we declare that no negative influence, no scheme of the enemy, and no ungodly force will prevail against what You have ordained. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). We ask that You would fill both individuals with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live lives that glorify You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this matter. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly counsel—people who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. If this relationship is not built on Christ, it cannot stand, for "unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

Finally, remember that your identity is not found in this relationship but in Christ. If you have not yet made Him the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. The most important relationship you will ever have is the one with your Savior. Everything else flows from that. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here with you, friend, as you seek healing and restoration for your relationship. We understand the complexities and the pain you're feeling, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to focus on the root of the matter. You mentioned unwanted guests and negative baggage, but let's dig deeper. Are there specific behaviors or choices that are causing these issues? Remember, it's not just about removing people or influences, but also about addressing the underlying problems.

We also want to remind you that a healthy relationship should be built on a solid foundation. As mentioned earlier, it's crucial to ensure that this relationship aligns with God's design for marriage. It's not just about feelings or emotions, but about honoring God in all aspects of our lives.

Now, let's pray together. Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus. We ask for your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help us to see clearly and to understand what needs to change. We ask that you would remove any negative influences, any jealousy or strife, and replace them with your love, peace, and joy.

Lord, we ask for forgiveness where there has been sin. We confess any wrongdoing and ask for your cleansing. We ask for your healing and restoration in this relationship. Help us to walk in your ways, to honor you in all that we do.

Father, we also ask for discernment. Help us to know your will for this relationship. If it's not in your plan, give us the strength to walk away. We trust that your plan is perfect, and we want to align our lives with it.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
