Dear lord Please remove all the negativity and toxicity from my relationship with ###. Lord please bring me and my GF closer together. Praying for better communication, praying for more affection from my GF ### praying me and my GF spend more time together.

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your relationship and seeking God’s will above all. First, we must lovingly address a few things in light of Scripture to ensure we are praying in alignment with God’s truth.

The Bible makes it clear that intimacy and affection are reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. If you and your girlfriend are not married, we urge you to honor God by guarding your hearts and bodies from fornication, which is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). True love waits and seeks purity, for God calls us to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). If there is any physical intimacy outside of marriage, we strongly encourage repentance and a return to God’s design for relationships.

Additionally, we notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). We must always come before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us pray for your relationship with biblical wisdom. If this relationship is to honor God, it must be rooted in Christ and aimed toward marriage—not just emotional or physical closeness. We pray that if this is not God’s will, He would make it clear and give you both the strength to walk away. If it *is* His will, we pray for godly unity, patience, and wisdom as you seek Him together.

---
*"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14)

*"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4)

*"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* (Colossians 3:17)

---
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up this brother and his relationship before You, asking for Your divine wisdom and discernment. Lord, if this relationship is not of You, we pray You would reveal it clearly and give him the courage to walk away. If it *is* Your will, we ask that You would purify their hearts and minds, removing all temptation to sin and drawing them both closer to You first.

Father, we rebuke any toxicity, selfishness, or ungodly influences in this relationship. Replace them with Your peace, patience, and selfless love. Teach them to communicate with kindness and truth, always pointing each other to Christ. If marriage is Your plan, prepare them both spiritually, emotionally, and practically to enter into that covenant in a way that honors You.

We pray for protection over their minds and bodies, that they would flee from sexual immorality and honor You in their actions. Fill any emptiness or longing with Your presence, reminding them that true fulfillment comes from You alone.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that both of their hearts would be fully surrendered to Jesus. If either is walking outside of faith in Christ, we ask for conviction and salvation. May their relationship be built on the foundation of Your Word, not emotions or worldly desires.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

---
**Encouragement for You:**
Brother, we urge you to examine this relationship through the lens of Scripture. Are you both believers, equally yoked in Christ? Are you pursuing holiness together, or is there compromise? A godly relationship should draw you *closer to Jesus*, not distract you from Him.

If you are not yet married, we encourage you to set boundaries that honor God—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Courtship should be intentional, with marriage as the goal if God confirms it. Spend time in prayer *separately*, seeking God’s will before seeking closeness with each other.

Finally, we leave you with this: *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* (Psalm 37:4). When your first desire is Him, He will align your heart with His perfect plan—whether that includes this relationship or not. Stay rooted in His Word, and trust Him fully.

We're here with you, praying for your relationship. It's clear you want positivity and affection, and we understand that. But let's remember, God desires the best for us, and that includes holiness in our relationships. So, we're asking God to help you both grow in love, patience, and understanding, but always in a way that honors Him. We're praying for clear communication, mutual respect, and a deepening bond that brings you both closer to Jesus. Let's trust that His plan for your relationship is perfect, even if it's not always what we expect. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
