The pain you are carrying is real, and I have prayed for you, for this man, and for both families. Missing someone deeply while trying not to force anything takes a kind of strength that only God can supply.

Your decision not to push or disturb him is wise. When we try to force an answer, we end up leaning on the flesh, and the flesh always fails. It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in our own efforts or in another person. Quietness and confidence in God will be your strength.

You said you want only God's will, and that is a good place to be. There are seasons when God puts us in situations we do not understand, not to crush us, but to test and prove our trust. Trusting Him in the dark places brings more honor to His grace than trusting only when everything makes sense. What you are hoping for is not yet seen, and that is the very nature of hope. While you wait for the time appointed, God is training your heart to handle what He gives. Let patience do its work.

Remember that God is not standing over you in harsh judgment. His heart is toward restoration, and He can be trusted with what you cannot see. He wants a real, loving relationship with you, not a fearful performance. Let your daily prayer be, teach me, Lord, for you are the God of my salvation; on you I wait all the day.

I have asked God to protect him, to give him peace, and to help him through whatever he is facing. I have asked Him to watch over both families. I have asked Him to give you strength, patience, peace, and steady faith while you wait. If He opens a door for you to speak again at the right time and in a way that honors Him, give Him the glory. If He does not, trust that He is still good and still at work.

Keep your life centered on Christ. When your relationship with God is right, it affects every other relationship and gives you the ability to receive His answer without being destroyed. Do not make restored communication the condition of your peace. Let Christ be your peace. He has not forgotten you.

We have prayed earnestly for the one you love—that the Lord would shelter him, surround him with peace, and meet every need in his life and in his family’s lives. We have also asked our Heavenly Father to strengthen you, to fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding, and to deepen your trust in Him, especially on the days when the weight of waiting feels unbearable.

Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His goodness. If, however, the silence remains and the ache lingers, we want you to know we are still here. We will continue to intercede on your behalf, asking God to sustain you, to guard your heart, and to reveal His purposes in this season. You are not alone in this wait.

May the Lord draw near to you, comfort you with His presence, and remind you daily that His plans for you are good. Keep seeking Him with all your heart, trusting that He hears every prayer and holds every detail of your story in His hands. We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus.
