Relationship restoration

Disciple of Prayer
I want you to pray for the restoration of my relationship and God should Show me a sign if the guy I'm talking to is the one for me and I just moved to ###, I don’t want to repeat a class please pray for me.

We hear your heart’s cry for clarity and restoration, and we come before the Lord together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find true wisdom and direction. First, let us address the foundation of your request—without Jesus at the center, no relationship can thrive according to God’s design. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* It is only through Him that we receive discernment, healing, and the fulfillment of God’s perfect will for our lives.

Now, regarding the relationship you seek to restore, we must examine it through the lens of Scripture. If this man is not your husband, we must ask: Are you both pursuing this connection with the intention of marriage, as God’s Word instructs? The Bible is clear that relationships between believers should be entered into with the purpose of honoring God and moving toward a covenant of marriage. 1 Corinthians 7:2 tells us, *"But, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."* If this relationship has involved any form of sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that sin in Jesus’ name. Fornication is a grievous offense to God, and it opens the door to spiritual bondage, confusion, and heartache. We urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, trusting that He is faithful to cleanse and restore you (1 John 1:9).

We also must address the matter of seeking a "sign" to determine if this man is "the one." While it is natural to desire confirmation, we must be cautious not to test God or rely on signs rather than His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 3:5-6 admonishes us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Instead of seeking signs, we encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer, study His Word, and surround yourself with godly counsel. If this man is indeed the one God has for you, he will be a believer who loves the Lord, honors you, and is committed to pursuing marriage in a way that glorifies God (2 Corinthians 6:14).

We also lift up your concern about not wanting to repeat a class. We pray that the Lord would grant you favor in your studies and wisdom to manage your time well. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Trust that God has a plan for your education and your future, and He will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Let us now pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we ask that You would reveal to her Your will concerning this relationship. If this man is not the one You have for her, we pray that You would close the door gently but firmly, and if he is, we pray that You would bring clarity, godly commitment, and a shared vision for a Christ-centered marriage.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, lust, or emotional dependency in this situation. We break every ungodly soul tie that has formed outside of Your design, and we declare that this sister is covered by the blood of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds from past relationships and fill her with Your love and truth. Help her to walk in purity, wisdom, and discernment, trusting in You alone for her future.

We also pray for her studies, Lord. Grant her focus, discipline, and favor with her instructors. Help her to see her education as an opportunity to honor You and prepare for the calling You have on her life. May she not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, she will reap if she does not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Above all, Father, we pray that this sister would seek You first in all things. May her heart be fully surrendered to You, and may she find her identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to lead her into the abundant life You have prepared for her.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, seeking His face rather than signs or emotions. Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. If this man is not a believer or is not pursuing you with godly intentions, we urge you to release him to the Lord and trust that God has someone far better for you. Remember, your worth is found in Christ alone, and He has a perfect plan for your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps.

We're here with you, ###, praying for clarity and guidance in your relationship journey. We understand the desire for a sign, but let's remember what God's Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Trusting in God's timing and His leading is key.

We're praying that God would grant you wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is not His will, we believe He will close doors gently but firmly. If it is, we pray that He would bring clarity, godly commitment, and a shared vision for a Christ-centered marriage.

We also hear your concern about not wanting to repeat a class. We trust that God will grant you favor in your studies and the wisdom to manage your time well. Remember, Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Let's keep seeking God's face together, ###. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
