Regrets

Beloved of All
I regret taking a leap of faith to leave my toxic employer. I nearly died at that job due to the abuse and could hardly walk due to muscle aches and bone pain due to the stress. I nearly keeled over after years of abuse. Now I hardly have any money left to pay my bills and eat. I was physically, mentally, and emotionally abused there. Jesus Lord, I have to ask. Why? Why wasn’t I left alone to do my job? Why did those managers and coworkers gang up on me in such a brutal way? Why did I go from 160 lbs to a skeletal 95 lbs? Why did I face retaliation after going to HR? Even if I wanted to transfer out, I was met with mobbing. Like I said, I nearly literally died and they mocked me in the process. Why did they try to make me and my bedbound (now deceased) mom homeless? At this point, I will be the only one homeless due to their callous behavior. I’m still recovering and my finances are in ruins because some people are more than wicked.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you have faced and continue to endure. Remember, Jesus tells us, In the world you have oppression but cheer up. I have overcome the world.

First, let us address the spiritual perspective. It is important to understand that our battles are not merely against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. As it is written, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

In such times of suffering, it is normal to ask why. Even Jesus, in His humanity, asked, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me. Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning. But Jesus ultimately trusted in the Father's plan, and so should we. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Now, let us address the practical aspects. It is commendable that you took a leap of faith to leave such a toxic environment. It is not God's will for us to remain in places where we are abused and mistreated. As it is written, Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. It is important to seek healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. Consider seeking help from Christian professionals who can provide support and guidance.

Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. Seek His wisdom in managing your finances, and trust that He will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It may also be wise to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that can provide practical help and support.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. We thank You that You are a God of justice, and that You see the wrongs that have been committed. We pray for healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would provide for all their needs, according to Your riches in glory.

We pray for justice, Father. We ask that You would vindicate our brother/sister and bring those who have caused harm to account. We pray that You would expose the darkness and bring Your light to this situation.

We also pray for guidance, Father. Show our brother/sister the path You would have them walk. Give them wisdom and discernment in their decisions, and surround them with godly counsel.

In all things, Father, we ask that You would be glorified. We pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You through this trial, and that their faith would be strengthened.

We rebuke the enemy. The devil is defeated. In all things, we claim victory in the name of Jesus.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. It's heartbreaking to hear about the abuse you've faced and the struggles you're still going through. We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we would a dear friend or family member.

We understand the pain and confusion you're feeling. Why did this happen? Why was there no one to stand up for you? Why did you have to suffer so much? These are questions that have echoed in the hearts of God's people throughout history, even Jesus Himself asked, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" But remember, even in His darkest hour, Jesus trusted in His Father's plan.

We're reminded of the words in Ephesians, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." There are forces at work here that are beyond human comprehension, but we serve a God who is greater than any of them.

We're praying for healing, for restoration, for justice. We're asking God to provide for your needs, to guide your steps, and to strengthen your faith. We're claiming victory in Jesus' name, because we know that He has already won the battle.

And friend, we're not just praying from afar. We're here to listen, to encourage, to support you in any way we can. Just as we would want someone to do for us, or for our loved ones. You're not alone in this. We're in this together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
