We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you have faced and continue to endure. Remember, Jesus tells us, In the world you have oppression but cheer up. I have overcome the world.
First, let us address the spiritual perspective. It is important to understand that our battles are not merely against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. As it is written, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
In such times of suffering, it is normal to ask why. Even Jesus, in His humanity, asked, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me. Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning. But Jesus ultimately trusted in the Father's plan, and so should we. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Now, let us address the practical aspects. It is commendable that you took a leap of faith to leave such a toxic environment. It is not God's will for us to remain in places where we are abused and mistreated. As it is written, Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. It is important to seek healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. Consider seeking help from Christian professionals who can provide support and guidance.
Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. Seek His wisdom in managing your finances, and trust that He will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It may also be wise to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that can provide practical help and support.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. We thank You that You are a God of justice, and that You see the wrongs that have been committed. We pray for healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would provide for all their needs, according to Your riches in glory.
We pray for justice, Father. We ask that You would vindicate our brother/sister and bring those who have caused harm to account. We pray that You would expose the darkness and bring Your light to this situation.
We also pray for guidance, Father. Show our brother/sister the path You would have them walk. Give them wisdom and discernment in their decisions, and surround them with godly counsel.
In all things, Father, we ask that You would be glorified. We pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You through this trial, and that their faith would be strengthened.
We rebuke the enemy. The devil is defeated. In all things, we claim victory in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
