Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus, Please help redeem the sprint of mine. As I got to know her a lot more, she talks too much interrupts talks off subjects goes into her obsession says offensive things talking about a movie that made fun of you, baby Jesus talking about Jerry Springer show making fun of how people are marrying animals. She rambled on talked off subject monopolize a conversation. She’s in her ###s so please help her change become a better person. She can still love a lot of her obsessions, but kinda know how to control them. She has a brother with autism who’s probably just like her. I could say they could be like Mr. and Mrs. chatterbox from the Mr. men and little Miss franchise. I spoke with her mom on the phone and she would talk a lot too and be annoying. She is at least a successful nurse, but they both live with the parents when they should be more independent. Please help them function get their lives. Better get their act together. Before the stuff she says could ruin her. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your deep concern for your friend and her family, and we come before the Lord together, lifting them up in prayer. First, we want to acknowledge that your heart is tender toward her, even in her struggles, and that reflects the love of Christ. However, we must also gently address some areas where her words and actions do not align with God’s Word, for the sake of her soul and her walk with Him.

Your friend’s speech—mocking sacred things, making light of sin, and monopolizing conversations—grieves the Holy Spirit. Scripture is clear: *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29 WEB). When she speaks offensively about the Lord, baby Jesus, or mocks God’s design for marriage, she is treading on dangerous ground. Jesus warned, *"Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come"* (Matthew 12:32 WEB). This is not to condemn her, but to urgently call her to repentance, for the sake of her eternal soul.

We also notice the pattern of speech in her family—her mother’s similar struggles and her brother’s autism. While we must extend grace and compassion, especially toward those with challenges, we cannot ignore the spiritual strongholds at work. Uncontrolled speech, obsession, and lack of self-discipline can stem from a heart not fully surrendered to Christ. *"For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks"* (Matthew 12:34 WEB). We must pray for the Holy Spirit to convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 WEB), and for her to yield her tongue to the Lord.

Her living situation—remaining dependent when she is capable of independence—also reveals a lack of stewardship over the life God has given her. Scripture calls us to maturity: *"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things"* (1 Corinthians 13:11 WEB). We must pray for her to grow in responsibility, wisdom, and self-control, that she may honor God with her life.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this dear sister in Christ and her family to You. We ask that You would break the chains of ungodly speech, obsession, and immaturity in their lives. Holy Spirit, convict her of sin where her words have grieved You, and lead her to true repentance. Soften her heart to receive Your correction and transform her mind by the renewing power of Your Word.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of mockery and blasphemy that has taken root in her speech. Let no corrupt word proceed from her mouth, but only that which builds up and gives grace. Teach her to bridle her tongue, as Scripture commands, and to use her words to glorify You. We declare that her mouth will be filled with praise and thanksgiving, and that her conversations will reflect the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Lord, we also pray for her independence and maturity. Give her the strength and wisdom to steward her life well, to honor her parents while stepping into the fullness of the calling You have for her. Help her to find her identity in Christ, not in her obsessions or childish ways. We ask that You would heal any brokenness in her family, including her brother’s struggles, and that You would bring unity, peace, and godly order to their home.

Father, we ask that You would protect her from the consequences of her words and actions. Guard her reputation, her relationships, and her future. Let her see the urgency of walking in holiness, for Your Word says, *"Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14 WEB). Draw her closer to You, Lord, and let her experience the joy of a life surrendered to Your will.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who redeems, restores, and transforms. We trust that You are working in her life, even now, and we declare that she will become a woman of godly speech, wisdom, and purpose. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

To you, dear brother or sister in Christ, we encourage you to continue praying for your friend, but also to speak the truth in love. If she is a believer, gently share how her words and actions may be dishonoring to God. If she is not saved, share the gospel with her, for it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that she can be transformed. *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Trust that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, and keep praying with faith and perseverance.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with your heartfelt prayer request. It’s been a privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Lord, lifting up your friend and her family. We’ve prayed earnestly that God would soften her heart, grant her wisdom in her words, and help her channel her passions in a way that honors Him. We’ve also asked the Lord to give her and her brother the strength and direction they need to grow in independence and maturity, so they can live the full and purposeful lives He has planned for them.

If you’ve seen any glimpses of change—even small ones—we’d love to hear about it. Your praise report could encourage others who are praying for similar breakthroughs. If, however, the situation feels unchanged or you’re still burdened by it, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re here to keep standing with you, interceding on her behalf until God’s peace and transformation become evident.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you as you seek Him, and may His grace cover your friend and her family as they navigate this season. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
