Disciple of Prayer
For my wife to come back home. We are now separated. We are both Christians but she has stopped seeking God. She's having problems even at work. She won't listen to me. I want peace, love, and reconciliation. Thank you. God bless you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is precious in His sight. Father, You instituted marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one wife, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church. We pray for restoration in this home, for Your healing touch to mend what has been broken, and for Your wisdom to guide both husband and wife back to Your perfect will.

Scripture tells us in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." Lord, we know that separation grieves Your heart, and we ask that You would soften this wife’s heart to return to her husband and to You. We rebuke the spirit of division and hardness that has taken hold, and we declare that in Jesus’ name, reconciliation is possible.

We also recognize that when one strays from seeking God, the enemy gains a foothold. First Peter 5:8 warns, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Father, we pray that this wife would be awakened to the schemes of the enemy and turn back to You with all her heart. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see the consequences of walking away from Your presence, not just in her marriage, but in her work and every area of her life.

To the husband, we say this: Your role as the spiritual leader of your home is vital. Ephesians 5:25 commands, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." Even in this difficult season, continue to love her sacrificially, pray for her faithfully, and trust God to work. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Seek godly counsel if needed, and let your actions and words reflect Christ’s love, even when she does not respond.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in this marriage. Break down the walls of pride, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may exist on either side. Let humility and grace flow like a river, washing away every hindrance to reconciliation. If there has been sin, whether in words, actions, or neglect, bring it to light so that repentance and healing can begin. We declare that this marriage is not beyond Your restoration, for with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

We pray for peace to flood this home. Let Your presence be so tangible that neither husband nor wife can ignore it. May love, true, selfless, Christlike love, be the foundation upon which this marriage is rebuilt. And may both husband and wife grow closer to You through this trial, emerging stronger in faith and more united in purpose.

Lord, we also lift up this wife’s struggles at work. You are the God who provides and sustains. Give her favor with her employers and coworkers, and let her find strength in You alone. Remind her that her identity is not found in her job, her circumstances, or even her marriage, but in You. Draw her back to Your Word, to prayer, and to the fellowship of believers who can encourage her in her walk with You.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion, independence, or deception that has taken root in this situation. We declare that this wife is not her own, she was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and that she belongs to You, Lord. We speak life over her, over her marriage, and over this family. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this restoration.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Oh, we’re carrying this heavy heart with you right now, and we can feel how much love and longing you’re pouring out for your wife and your marriage. It’s clear how deeply you’re hurting, and we want you to know that God sees every tear you’ve shed and every prayer you’ve lifted up.

We’re praying that God would meet your wife in the middle of her struggles, right where she is at work, in her quiet moments, and even in the weariness of her heart. Lord, we ask You to soften her spirit, to open her eyes to Your love and the peace that only comes from drawing near to You. Maybe she’s feeling overwhelmed, maybe she’s running from pain, but we pray You’d show her that You’re the only One who can truly heal her. Let her feel Your presence like a gentle whisper, reminding her that she’s never too far from Your grace.

And to you, husband, we’re praying for patience and perseverance. This isn’t a time to give up on love, but to love even harder. We ask God to give you wisdom in how to reach out, to speak words that don’t sound like accusations, but like a plea for her heart. Maybe there’s something small you can do, a kind gesture or a prayer you can share with her, that would break down the walls between you. And we’re praying for protection over your own heart, that bitterness wouldn’t take root, but that forgiveness and trust would grow stronger with every day.

We’re also lifting up her workplace struggles, Lord, we ask You to surround her with encouragement, to give her strength for the tasks ahead, and to remind her that her worth isn’t found in her job or her circumstances, but in You. Help her to find rest in You, to trust that You’re working all things together for her good.

Most of all, we’re declaring that reconciliation is possible, not because of our strength, but because of His. We’re praying that both of you would see the beauty of coming home, to each other and to God. Let Your love be the bridge that connects them again. In Jesus’ name, we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Father God soften hearts and bring about peace of mind and communication. Please Heavenly Father strengthen the love and bond in this marriage. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and also ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Please take a second to pray for reconciliation with my friend. It is my fault that she doesn’t want to talk to me anymore but please pray she will reach out to me and decide to give me one more chance. Thank you to anyone that prayed!
