Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported ### since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift my ### up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### and ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her against me and against other co workers. Expose ### her being two faced, manipulative, and how she step over ### and how she bypass her at times. Grant ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch ###'s heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided. Protect her from ### manipulation over her.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your heart as you pour out your struggles in the workplace. It is clear that you have invested much, your time, loyalty, and effort, only to feel overlooked and even undermined by those around you, particularly by those in authority. We stand with you in this moment, lifting your burden before the Lord, for He sees all things and knows the truth of every situation.

First, we must address the spirit of bitterness that can so easily take root in these moments. The Word of God warns us in Hebrews 12:15, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." We rebuke any bitterness that may be creeping into your heart, for it only harms you and hinders your walk with the Lord. Instead, we pray that you would be filled with the peace of Christ, knowing that your labor is not in vain. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

We also lift up the individuals you have mentioned, particularly those in leadership who may be acting out of pride, manipulation, or deceit. The Lord is just, and He will expose every hidden thing in His time. We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would be led to repentance. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We ask the Lord to humble them and to bring to light any unrighteousness in their actions. Let them see the value of those who have faithfully served alongside them, and may they be moved to act with integrity and fairness.

We also rebuke any spirit of division or strife in this workplace. Where there is gossip, manipulation, or deceit, we ask the Lord to break its power. James 3:16 says, "For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed." We pray that the Lord would bring unity, truth, and peace to this environment, and that He would protect you from the schemes of those who seek to harm or undermine you.

As you wait for the Lord to move, we encourage you to continue walking in dignity and excellence. Your worth is not defined by the recognition of man but by your identity in Christ. Proverbs 22:29 says, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men." Trust that the Lord sees your faithfulness and will reward you in due time. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, You see the truth of all things, and You know the pain and frustration that has been felt. We ask that You would move mightily in this workplace, exposing any deceit, manipulation, or unrighteousness. Break the chains of pride and insecurity in those who lead, and grant them discernment and humility. Soften their hearts to see the truth and to act with integrity.

Father, we also pray for protection over our brother/sister in Christ. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that their labor is not in vain, for You are their ultimate reward. Strengthen them to continue walking in dignity and excellence, knowing that You see their faithfulness and will honor it in Your time.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division or strife in this place. Bring unity, truth, and peace, and let Your will be done. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your people be encouraged and uplifted.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache in what you shared and we’re sitting with you in that. Being overlooked, especially after pouring yourself into someone’s success and standing with them from the beginning, cuts deep. The silence where recognition should be can echo louder than any spoken word. It’s not small. It’s not something you just “get over.” And you’re wise to name the danger: that hurt ignored can quietly curdle into bitterness.

What we’ve seen, both in Scripture and in the lives of people we walk with, is that moments like this can either shrink our hearts or grow a stronger, quieter dependence on the God who sees. You’re already there, reaching out to Him. That is not a small thing. Think of Joseph, forgotten in prison by someone whose life he had helped, with no timeline for when, or if, the truth would ever come out. Yet he later looked back and saw that God had been with him through it all, shaping his character in the waiting, not wasting a single injustice. The same is true for you. The real measure of your work isn’t in who notices but in the fruit it bears over time, and in the person you are becoming as you choose to give it to God rather than rehearse the wrong.

If it’s helpful, one concrete step can be to write down the specific ways you’ve contributed and the truth of the situation, then literally lift that paper to God in prayer. It’s not a magical act, but an active release: “I’ve done what I could; You know the rest.” Then when the thoughts loop back, you have a physical reminder that you’ve already handed it over.

We’re praying with you now: Lord Jesus, You see the loyalty, the unseen hours, the heart that longs to be valued. Hold our friend close when the feeling of being forgotten presses in. Guard their spirit from bitterness. In Your timing, bring clarity and truth where there is confusion. For now, anchor them in Your steady love, their true reward. Amen.

It is a mercy that you have brought your burden to the throne of grace, for there is forgiveness with God that He may be feared, and there is also a balm for every wound the world can inflict. Your heart is raw from the sense of being overlooked and maligned, and that pain is real. Yet let me direct your gaze away from the shifting sands of human recognition to the solid Rock of divine acceptance. The ultimate reward comes not from man, but from the Master who sees in secret and will one day declare, "Well done."

I would urge you to study carefully the pattern of forgiveness set before us in the gospel. "Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you." This is not a suggestion for the easy days, but a command for the very hour when the sting of injustice is fresh. You have asked the Lord to expose manipulation and break the fog of deceit, and He may well do so in His time. But be on guard: it is a dangerous prayer to mix with a desire to see another’s sins laid bare for your vindication. Our own forgiveness is so complete, so free, so continuous, so eternal. When Christ forgives, He does not merely overlook the debt; He casts it behind His back into the depths of the sea. Having received such divine pardon, how can we clutch at the petty debts others owe us? You speak of protecting your mind from bitterness, and there is no surer safeguard than to forgive, freely and fully, from the heart. The offense you feel from your coworker and the blindness you perceive in your superior are trifling compared to your own ten thousand talents forgiven by the hand of a generous God.

Remember, there is forgiveness with Him, and that forgiveness is not a half measure. It is a sweeping, glorious, unlimited pardon. Now, mark this: you are not called to pretend that wrong is right, nor to commend deceit. But you are called, by the power of the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead, to hand the whole case over to the righteous Judge. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord." The most blessed deliverance from the poison of resentment is to let your own debt to God stand in the foreground of your thoughts. When you recall the loving way Christ forgave you, when you were a bankrupt with nothing to pay, the offenses of others shrink to their proper size. Go forth then, and in the strength of this remembrance, do good to those who despitefully use you. That is the divine nature shining through human flesh. Let your peace, your dignity, and your continued diligence be a silent testimony that your true treasure is laid up where no manipulation can touch it, and no superior can forget it.

You ask for the eyes of another to be opened, but first attend to your own heart. The ache you feel, the sense of being forgotten, examine it. Does it not spring from love of honor, from a hunger to be seen and valued by men? Yet the only glory that matters is that which comes from God, and no colleague’s manipulation can touch that treasury. The root of all this turmoil is that we cling to earthly standing as if it were real; cut out the root, and the bitter fruit ceases.

Do not, then, bend your prayers toward exposing the sins of others or forcing recognition from your superior. That is to ask of God what the devil would gladly offer, a spectacle of strife dressed as justice. Instead, ask for what is truly His gift: a contrite and humbled heart, sober, self-possessed, washed in repentance. For you enter a grievous conflict, not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness; and if your soul is scattered by resentment, you will be overthrown before the battle is joined.

When your mind is pained and you want to cry out, pray in the quiet of your heart, as Moses did when he said nothing yet God heard him. Sing to God with heedfulness, not for display, and even in the marketplace of your workplace, you can collect yourself and offer thanksgiving, both for refreshment and for tribulation, for this is the custom of the saints. Give thanks that you are counted worthy to suffer slights, for in this you are made like your Master who was despised and rejected.

Do not say in your heart, “Who will ascend to bring me vindication?” The word is nigh you, even in your mouth and heart. Confess that Jesus is Lord, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and you are saved, saved not from the sting of office politics but from the tyranny of needing human approval to be at peace.

Let not your heart be troubled. Jesus knows the thoughts churning within you, just as He knew His disciples’ fears. And He says to you now: Continue in His word. Do not be among those who believed for a while and then fell away when trials came. The fog you want lifted from another’s eyes, that very blindness first comes from people stopping their own ears and making their own hearts fat. If you spend your energy watching for the sins of others, you will see and not perceive, hear and not understand.

Therefore, keep doing your work with integrity, not for their reward but for His. The foundation you built in supporting others, God saw it long ago, and He does not forget. Wait upon Him, and He will settle all accounts. But while you wait, guard your own soul from bitterness, for he who plots against his neighbor first destroys himself. The true battle is to emerge with a heart still full of grace, still singing, still thankful. That is the victory that no double‑tongue can steal.
