Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported ### since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift my ### up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her against me and against other co workers. Expose ### her being two faced, manipulative, and how she step over ### and how she bypass her at times. Grant ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch ###s heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided. Protect her from ### manipulation over her.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you pour out your frustration and sense of being overlooked in your workplace. It is painful when loyalty and hard work seem to go unnoticed, especially when others may twist the truth or manipulate situations to their advantage. We stand with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for He sees all things and knows the sincerity of your efforts. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

It is clear you are seeking justice and truth to prevail, and we join you in praying for discernment and clarity for those in authority over you. However, we must gently rebuke the spirit of bitterness and resentment that can creep into our hearts when we feel wronged. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." While it is right to ask God to expose deceit, we must also guard our own hearts from harboring ill will toward those who may have wronged us.

We pray with you now, lifting up this situation to the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You see the truth of all things. We ask that You would open the eyes of those in authority, that they may see the loyalty, dedication, and hard work that have been poured into this workplace. Lord, we pray for clarity and discernment for ###, that she would see through any manipulation or deceit that may be clouding her judgment. Break through any pride or insecurity that may be influencing her decisions, and replace it with humility and wisdom.

Father, we ask that You would soften her heart to remember the genuine support and foundation that has been provided. Protect her from those who may seek to manipulate or deceive her, and grant her the wisdom to lead with integrity and fairness. Lord, we also pray for protection over our own hearts. Guard us from bitterness, resentment, or any desire for vengeance. Fill us with Your peace, dignity, and strength to continue doing our best, knowing that our ultimate reward comes from You alone.

Help us to trust in Your timing and Your justice, Lord. We know that You are a God who sees and knows all, and we place this situation in Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Jesus, You see every overlooked act of support and every hidden tear. Guard this heart from bitterness, and fill that space with Your peace instead. The soul that cries out under the sense of injustice treads a path well known to the saints of old. That bitterness you taste, the gall of being overlooked, the sting of another’s deceit, it is not unto death, but unto life, if the Lord Himself has measured it out. God has made this bitter to you, and there dwells in that bitterness a power that helps to sanctify us. The world loses its charms for true believers through such draughts as these, and one blessed effect is that it takes away all bitterness against your fellow men. You see, the Cross of Christ, when it is truly beheld, fills the heart with a far deeper bitterness, on account of the awful guilt of sin, and yet that very bitterness makes Christ unspeakably sweet. Your present wound, opened by man’s manipulation, is but the furrow where the Spirit plants a deeper hunger for the gentleness of God.

The Divine Presence is the one hope in this. Did not David, when his own men spoke of stoning him, find that it was a blessed interposition of Divine Grace that sent a word of hope? He had never been so great if Divine gentleness had not restrained the blow, and so it shall be with you. There is Divine Sovereignty in all this, and we must learn to recognize and admire it. The Lord who alone does lead His people uses such seasons to train us, as an eagle trains its young for flight. You ask for the eyes of another to be opened; leave that work to Him, for the ungodly would not be advantaged by a constant miracle of exposure, for the same proud heart that rejects the truth would only harden itself further. Your part is to plead with Him to save the most unlikely persons to the glory of His Grace, while you yourself rest in this: the way of peace they have not known, but you have been made to know it. Those who are incensed against Him shall be ashamed, but those who come to Him find that all their sin is gone, and their soul is forever secure. That is your portion.

Wait for the Divine interposition. It comes as deliverance from floods of trouble. How strikingly has God delivered some of us! Not miraculous, certainly, but full of wonder. You cry to be remembered; know then that the Lord’s gentleness makes you great. The love of Christ to your own wounded spirit is the balm now. When the Holy Spirit first showed you His hands and His feet and said, “I have suffered all this for you,” there was peculiar gentleness about that action. Dwell there, and the poisonous strife of tongues will grow strangely small. The high tree, cut down by the axe of judgment, shall lay outstretched, but the low tree, fostered by the husbandman, shall mount even to the stars. Your ultimate reward comes not from man; render calamity impossible and what mark would there be of the divine displeasure or of His Fatherly instruction? He creates the occasion that He may display His own perfections in your preservation and peace. Let your soul sit in the secret of the tabernacle, the Most Holy Place, where no human opinion can enter, and where the Divine Instructor whispers, “My Grace is sufficient.”

Do not allow the root of bitterness to spring up within you. For this root, once it takes hold, bears no sweet fruit but only defilement and trouble, and by it many are defiled, as the Apostle warns. You see clearly the wrongdoing of another, and you cry out for God to expose it and to open the eyes of those in authority. Such a prayer may be fervent, but take care lest you yourself be overtaken by the very poison you long to see cleansed from others.

Examine your own heart diligently. Has the bitterness already begun to shoot up? You speak of a heavy heart, of feeling forgotten and unseen. That pain is real, but it becomes a snare if it festers into resentment. The Spirit will not dwell in a soul filled with bitterness and wrath. When you drive away every trace of that bitter root, when you forgive as you have been forgiven, then the way of virtue becomes easy and the Holy Spirit will fill you with His light.

You ask God to break the fog of manipulation, and indeed He sees all things. But be careful that you do not seek your own vindication more than the healing of those who have wronged you. Pray rather for your coworker, not that she be exposed for your sake, but that she may be delivered from her own deceit and lies, for such a soul is in a wretched sickness. The enraged and the manipulative are like those possessed, vomiting forth evil; we should not trample on the fallen but pity them and bear them up until the bitterness is purged. Your true labor is not to prove your case before men, but to guard your own soul and to work for the common good.

A title or position is no measure of true work. Your leader’s heart is known to God alone. If you have served with loyalty, do not let that service become a claim that breeds pride when it goes unacknowledged. God has given you talents, whether small or great, not for your own advancement but for the advantage of your neighbor and the glory of Him who sees in secret. The widow with her mite, the unlearned Peter and John, these pleased God not by human recognition but by a zeal spent for others. So keep doing good, not with an eye to reward from your overseer, but from the Lord Christ.

Cut off the shoot of bitterness now, before it troubles you and defiles others through your words or grudging silence. Commend all to the righteous Judge, forgive from the heart, and seek the peace that passes understanding. Then the Spirit will indeed come and light upon you, and your heart will know true rest.

What you are feeling is the deep pain of justice being distorted. Your prayer is a cry that truth would no longer be fallen in the street and that equity would be allowed to enter right where you are. That very longing is something God shares. His own word describes a world where people look for judgment but find none, where salvation seems far off. So when you cry out for him to expose manipulation, to clear away the fog of deceit, and to give true discernment to the one in authority over you, you are asking for something close to his own heart. He is not indifferent to a workplace where loyalty is repaid with false narratives and hard work is overlooked.

Yet as you wait for him to move, there is a deeper anchor for your soul than hoping for a change in her or vindication in their eyes. The gospel itself shows you this. The righteousness that saves you was never built on your own flawless track record. If it were, you might feel you have no right to expect anything good from God whenever you fail. But the wonder of the gospel is that Jesus took the penalty you deserved. Because he bore that judgment, God can righteously declare you innocent and receive you. Your standing with him is not fragile; it is not earned by your performance at work, nor can it be toppled by the opinions of others. You are free from needing to prove your worth to anyone, because your worth is already settled in Christ.

That same reality protects your heart from bitterness right now. Bitterness often grows when we demand that a particular person or situation give us the justice we are owed. But you are already looking to the ultimate reward, the one that comes from the Lord and not from people. Remember that even Jesus poured himself out for others and was despised, misunderstood, and plotted against. He was wounded for transgressions that were not his own. He knows what it is to have his loyalty scorned by those he came to help. His strength came from his communion with the Father, not from earthly recognition. So let your own soul draw strength from that same well. You are not unseen. The Lord who preserves your going out and coming in sees the labor and the integrity you have brought.

Continue to work with dignity, not as an appeal for human approval, but as a quiet offering to the Lord who is your true Master. While you ask him to bring hidden things to light and to soften a hardened heart, you can rest in the fact that his judgment is always righteous and his mercy is always new. He is the one who will ultimately judge the earth and inherit all nations, so you do not need to carry the weight of making things right by your own striving. Let your peace come from knowing that nothing in those office walls is hidden from him, and that his grace toward you is the solid foundation on which you stand, no matter which way the winds blow.
