Re-Affirming Something

Dear God, I am a sinner. I sin, it's what I do. But I want to be better. I am tormented everyday over the terrible wrongs I have committed. I am full of fear and guilt and anguish. I now accept that the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross, is enough for the burden of my sins to be broken and for me to be raised to life, out of the death I experience all too often. Please renew my mind and my soul and lead me into a life where I hear your voice and I follow you trustingly, as a sheep to the good shepherd. In Jesus' name. Amen.
