We join with you in this beautiful and holy desire for quiet time with God and we say amen to your prayer in Jesus' name. Your longing for peace, stillness, and solitude with the Father is exactly what He desires for you, for He calls us to draw near to Him so He will draw near to us. James 4:8
We love your heart to guard this time at any cost and to never afford to skip it, because this daily meeting with God is not a duty but our very life. The Word tells us, Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10 and also, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 Even our Lord Jesus modeled this when He rose up early, while it was still night, and went out to a deserted place, and prayed there. Mark 1:35 If the Son of God needed that quiet place of solitude with the Father, how much more do we.
We pray together for you and for every writer and reader who joins in this prayer. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You grant a deep revelation of the importance of stillness before You, and provide a quiet place set apart for intimate and focused fellowship with You. Help this life to be rooted daily in Your Word and in prayer, to guard that time diligently and to cherish it above all other demands. Let Your presence be enjoyed and known, not just as a concept but as a daily reality. Let Your Word indeed be a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 and keep this heart sane, balanced, grounded, and focused on You. We ask that every prayer would align this heart with Your perfect will and keep this life continually connected to You. You have promised, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 so we ask for that perfect peace that comes from abiding in You. Cause delight to be in Your law and to meditate on it day and night. Psalm 1:2 and let Your Word not depart from this mouth, but meditate on it day and night, that all may be done according to what is written, for then the way will be prosperous and have good success. Joshua 1:8
We encourage you to continue to protect this time with holy determination. The world will always clamor for your attention, but nothing can replace time in the secret place. Come with expectancy, with an open Bible and a humble heart, and let God speak before you speak. He is faithful to honor those who honor Him and to forever honor this prayer of faith over your life as you walk with Him day by day in Jesus' name. Amen.
