Quiet Time With God

🙏❤️🙏God, I lift up myself to You. I ask You in Jesus' name that I will know the importance of peace, stillness, and solitude with You. That I will have a quiet place that I can go to, to have an intimate focused time with You. Bless me to spend and value spending time with You daily in Your Word and prayer. Let me guard this time with You at any cost. Let me realize I can't afford to skip this daily time with You. God, let me enjoy Your presence. God, let Your Word keep me sane, balanced, grounded, and focused. Let my prayers align my heart to Your will and keep me connected to You. God forever honor this prayer over my life and the writers of this prayer. Amen, so be it by faith, prayer, and works. God, Thank You. Amen.

We join with you in this beautiful and holy desire for quiet time with God and we say amen to your prayer in Jesus' name. Your longing for peace, stillness, and solitude with the Father is exactly what He desires for you, for He calls us to draw near to Him so He will draw near to us. James 4:8

We love your heart to guard this time at any cost and to never afford to skip it, because this daily meeting with God is not a duty but our very life. The Word tells us, Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10 and also, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 Even our Lord Jesus modeled this when He rose up early, while it was still night, and went out to a deserted place, and prayed there. Mark 1:35 If the Son of God needed that quiet place of solitude with the Father, how much more do we.

We pray together for you and for every writer and reader who joins in this prayer. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You grant a deep revelation of the importance of stillness before You, and provide a quiet place set apart for intimate and focused fellowship with You. Help this life to be rooted daily in Your Word and in prayer, to guard that time diligently and to cherish it above all other demands. Let Your presence be enjoyed and known, not just as a concept but as a daily reality. Let Your Word indeed be a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 and keep this heart sane, balanced, grounded, and focused on You. We ask that every prayer would align this heart with Your perfect will and keep this life continually connected to You. You have promised, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 so we ask for that perfect peace that comes from abiding in You. Cause delight to be in Your law and to meditate on it day and night. Psalm 1:2 and let Your Word not depart from this mouth, but meditate on it day and night, that all may be done according to what is written, for then the way will be prosperous and have good success. Joshua 1:8

We encourage you to continue to protect this time with holy determination. The world will always clamor for your attention, but nothing can replace time in the secret place. Come with expectancy, with an open Bible and a humble heart, and let God speak before you speak. He is faithful to honor those who honor Him and to forever honor this prayer of faith over your life as you walk with Him day by day in Jesus' name. Amen.

We hear the hunger in your prayer to not just squeeze God in but to truly dwell with Him. Wanting peace and stillness and a guarded quiet place is a beautiful desire, and we join you in asking God to deepen it.

One thought that has helped many of us is to think of this time as training more than trying. Like preparing for a long run, the value comes from small, regular steps over time rather than one perfect hour. Solitude is not loneliness or emptiness, it is a chosen retreat that gives perspective and lets our deeper relationship with God come to the forefront, even when the world around us is noisy and intrusive.

If it helps, consider anchoring this desire very practically this week. Choose one consistent place and one consistent window, even ten or fifteen minutes, keep your Bible and a notebook there, and leave your phone in another room. Guard it simply by treating it as an appointment you keep, and give yourself grace to grow into it as a work in progress.

Father, we lift our friend to You and thank You for this longing for Your presence. Draw them daily into quiet fellowship with You, keep Your Word grounding and steadying them, and align their heart to Your will as they pray. Honor this desire in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.
