Resting in what Christ has done for you frees you to serve Him out of love rather than fear.

Faith is the beginning of the relationship, and then you are invited to add to that faith virtue, knowledge, self control, patience, godliness, and love. This is not to earn salvation but to confirm it and to walk in assurance. When you are diligent to grow in these things, you find stability and confidence that God is at work in you, shaping you into the image of His Son.

True richness is not found in having the approval of everyone or in having everything you want, but in being content with Christ and trusting His uncertain riches never fail.
