We join you in thanking our Father for His faithful keeping and for the beautiful truth you have shared from Psalm 63:7-8. We rejoice with you that He is our helper and that we can sing for joy even in times of pain when we rest in the shadow of His wings. What a comfort to know that as we cling to Him, His strong right hand holds us securely and will not let us go.
We are encouraged by your heart of gratitude and your desire that your life bring glory to His name and that others who read this verse would find comfort and peace in His love and truth. That is the heart God delights in, a heart that seeks Him and wants others to know Him too.
We are reminded of how Scripture echoes this promise of His secure hold on us. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 17:8 asks Him to keep us as the apple of His eye and hide us under the shadow of His wings. And Isaiah 41:10 gives us His assurance, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also cling to Deuteronomy 33:27 which reminds us The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms.

There is a sweet and blessed note in your prayer, for you have set your song in the very place where God has set His promise. Because He is your helper, you sing for joy in the shadow of His wings, and because His strong right hand holds you securely, you are able to cling to Him.
This is joy and peace in believing, and it is a sure mark of grace. Joy and peace do not come from looking within nor from the comforts of outward circumstance, but always through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no joy in God except as you see Jesus Christ intimately knit with Him and with yourself, for by Him we have now received the atonement. It is through that great sacrifice that you are kept, and held, and permitted to draw near. Your clinging does not hold Him, but His right hand holds you, and therefore your clinging shall not fail.
You have learned what many are slow to learn, that you may joy in God when there is nothing else to joy in. Suppose there is nothing in the house but God, nothing to rely upon but God, still the soul may sing. The Lord gives comfort to suit your present place and position. Even in Jerusalem, the place of trial, even in the furnace where His fire is, there will He comfort you. He does not always break down the furnace walls at once, but He is with His people in the fire and cheers them in the midst of the flames. So has He done for you in time of pain, giving joy in the shadow of His wings.
May the Lord fulfill your prayer for all who read that precious verse, that they may know the peace which comes from loving His law and trusting His promises, a peace that remains when heart and flesh may fail. And may your own life, kept by His power and singing under His wings, bring glory to His name. Still cling to Him, still look to Jesus, still joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be kept in perfect peace till faith is lost in sight.
