Father thank You for being the refuge, thank You put us in the shadow of Your Wings to protect us. Please saturate our minds, heart, spirit with Your truth with Your Goodness, Mercy, Grace, may the fruit of the Spirit increase in our lives, that we Love you with all of our heart, mind, strength and love one another. Thank You for family, please deliver us from all evil (Matthew 6:13) "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." We join you in thanking our Father for being our refuge and for the wonderful assurance we have in Him. We love how you have lifted up Psalm 17:7-8, Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings. What a precious picture this is of how the Lord cherishes and protects His children. To be the apple of His eye speaks of being treasured and closely watched over, and to be hidden under the shadow of His wings speaks of tender, powerful shelter like Psalm 91:1 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and Psalm 91:4 says He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge.
We agree with you in asking the Lord to saturate our minds, hearts and spirits with His truth, goodness, mercy and grace. We pray that we would be transformed by the renewing of our minds as Romans 12:2 teaches, and that the fruit of the Spirit would increase in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control as Galatians 5:22-23 describes. We ask that we would love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our might as Deuteronomy 6:5 calls us to do, and that out of that love we would love one another deeply, for Jesus said by this all will know that we are His disciples if we have love for one another in John 13:35.
We thank God with you for family and we lift up your request for deliverance from all evil. We pray as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:13, bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We take comfort and stand firm in the truth of 1 John 4:4, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. We rest in the confidence of 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the Lord is faithful, who will establish us and guard us from the evil one, and Psalm 32:7 that He is our hiding place and will preserve us from trouble.

Keep us close to You and help us walk faithfully with You each day in Jesus name Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in giving thanks to the God who shows His wonderful faithfulness to those who take refuge at His right hand. How precious is that word which you have laid hold upon, Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of Your wings. There is a City of Refuge provided under the appointment of God, and that city is Christ Himself. There is not one Christ here and another there, but there is a Christ everywhere, and to be found anywhere within the borders of that blessed City is to be at once and forever secure from the avenger. Divine appointment alone makes the refuge secure, and our Lord Jesus Christ is the divinely appointed way of salvation.
We pray with you that the Lord would saturate your mind and heart and spirit with His truth, with His goodness and mercy and grace. The deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. He who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son is able also to cause the fruit of the Spirit to increase in you, that you may love Him with all your heart and mind and strength, and love one another as He has loved you.
You have asked that He would deliver you from all evil, and we plead that same petition with you. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. It is a gladsome fact that all our ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and that what we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. Yet we know also that when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who looses the captive, for the Prince of Darkness has such power over our evil natures that we cannot overcome him of ourselves. If we are ever set free from sin and Satan it will be eternally and infinitely true that the Lord brought us forth out of the house of bondage.
Therefore we take comfort with you in that word, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Just as one seemed about to be dragged down to the pit, a voice came from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and God has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in His own dear Son. It is a gift of divine love. So we ask that the Lord would keep you and your family hidden under the shadow of His wings, stored with the knowledge of His glory, seeking to know the Lord Jesus more and more, rejoicing that you shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May He lift up the poor while He casts down all that exalts itself against Him, and may He keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, until faith shall end in sight. In the name of Jesus our only refuge and ransom we pray, Amen.
