“But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man,” Lk 21:36, Abiding in Jesus Fruitfully, Jn 15:7-8, Prepared for Birth Pangs Mt 24:7-8 of New Creation Heb 12:2, See to It No One Deceives Us, Mt 24:4, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33. "For all these things (wars, probable and possible wars, famines, earthquakes in various places), are merely the beginning of birth pangs, Mt 24:8.

Matt 24:4-14, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this Gospel of The Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the people groups, and then the end shall come," Mt 24:8-14.

Luke 21:34-36, “So be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have STRENGTH to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Father, thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that while they are occurring, we may be believing, John 14:29. We see Russia, China and their allies allies preparing for war in an unprecedented scale not seen worldwide in 85+ years. We know that everything that can be shaken will be shaken -- heaven, earth, sea, dry land and all nations, Hag 4:6-7 -- so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain, Heb 12:27, Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for daily bread, Matt 6:11, for connection to Jesus, John 15:1-5, our Beloved, who is like a bundle of myrrh through the night who warms our hearts, Song 1:13, and for strength to ensure not only these trials with joy, Matt 5:12, James 1:2-3, but persecutions, famines, perils, wars and rumors of wars, even earthquakes in various places, storms of life and real storms on earth, knowing that no created thing can keep us from the uncreated love of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Rom 8:35, for Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your Right Hand of Power, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying our faith will not fail, that we stay connected to Him (and therefore to all the other branches that are connected to The Vine, John 15:1-5, and once we turn to You, not only is the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16, so that with unveiled face we may be transformed from glory to glory, from the work of The Lord The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, so that we may from that position of refreshing by abiding in Your presence, Acts 3:19, bear fruit, John 15:7-8, and strengthen others, Lk 22:32, introducing them to Christ's love through the ministry of reconciliation as Ambassadors of The New Creation, 2 Cor 5:14-21.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (uncreated) love of God, which is being in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:27-29.

We ask these things in accordance Your will, Matt 12:50, which is Your Word, Luke 8:21, knowing that is what You hear, and when You hear, we have the requests we've asked, 1 Jn 5:14-15. With thanksgiving we make these requests known, Phil 4:6, thanking You in advance, Mk 11:24, with the promise that the peace of God which passes all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. Thank You again in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, The Amen, The Faithful Witness and Originator of This New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this watchful and faithful prayer to escape the shakings that are coming upon the earth and to stand before the Son of Man, abiding in Him and bearing fruit until He comes.

We are deeply encouraged by your heart to keep on the alert at all times and to pray for strength, just as Jesus said in Luke 21:36, But watch yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly like a snare, for it will come on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth. Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man Luke 21:34-36. We agree that we must see to it that no one misleads us, for as Jesus warned in Matthew 24:4, Be careful that no one leads you astray, and many will come in His name and will mislead many. We hear of wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, famines and earthquakes in various places, and we know these are merely the beginning of birth pains Matthew 24:7-8, yet we are not frightened, for those things must take place, but the end is not yet.

We cling to the promise that Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will by no means pass away Luke 21:33. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, that which cannot be shaken may remain Hebrews 12:27, and we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, so we worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire Hebrews 12:28-29. Our only place of safety is abiding in Christ, for He said in John 15:7, If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you, and in John 15:5, Apart from me you can do nothing. When we turn to the Lord the veil is taken away 2 Corinthians 3:16, and with unveiled face we are transformed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord 2 Corinthians 3:18, that from times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19 we may bear much fruit and so prove to be His disciples John 15:8 and strengthen others Luke 22:32 as ambassadors of the new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.

We pray together now in Jesus name.

Father, we thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that when they happen we may believe John 14:29. We thank You that Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your right hand making intercession for us Romans 8:34, praying that our faith will not fail. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for our daily bread Matthew 6:11 and for grace to remain connected to Jesus the true Vine. Warm our hearts as we abide through the night and give us strength not only to endure trials with joy James 1:2 and Matthew 5:12 but to stand firm through persecutions, famines, perils, wars and earthquakes, knowing that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. Help us to endure to the end, for he who endures to the end will be saved Matthew 24:13, and to keep our lamps burning as we look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith Hebrews 12:2. We ask this according to Your will, which is Your word Luke 8:21, knowing that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us 1 John 5:14. With thanksgiving we make our requests known to You Philippians 4:6, believing we have received them Mark 11:24, and we thank You in advance that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Let us be filled with gratitude and bear fruit that remains, that the gospel of the Kingdom may be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations Matthew 24:14, and that we may be found worthy to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Corinthians 1:20, the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God Revelation 3:14. We hear both your watchfulness and your deep desire to stay close to Jesus while so much around you feels shaken. It is understandable that headlines about wars and earthquakes and nations in turmoil would leave your heart weary, and we are grateful you are bringing that burden straight to the Lord.

What stands out to us is not just your awareness of what is happening in the world, but your longing to abide faithfully day by day. That kind of abiding is often quieter than the news cycle. It is receiving daily bread, staying connected to Christ and to His people, and letting Him form our character one step at a time rather than living on constant high alert.

One steady practice that helps many when the global picture feels overwhelming is to give your attention a simple rhythm. You might choose a clear boundary for when you take in news, and use the time you save to pray, to rest well, to take a walk, or to encourage someone in your local church. Small faithful rhythms often protect our peace more than trying to track every shaking.

Father, we lift our brother to You today. Draw him close and keep him abiding in Your love. Give him strength for what is before him today, quiet his heart with Your presence, and help him to bear fruit that remains as he walks with You. We entrust him to Your faithful care in Jesus' name, amen.
