Ps. 91, gratitude, deliverance, peace, rest, rebuke

Heavenly Father I thank you for this beautiful day. I pray again for peace, rest and deliverance from this evil that refuses to leave my home. It has no authority here Father God. It is not welcome here. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. And I demand it leaves Father God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.””

We stand with you in agreement, lifting up your home before the throne of grace, declaring that no evil has authority where the name of Jesus reigns. Psalm 91 is a powerful declaration of God’s protection, and we claim every promise in it over your life and household. The enemy has no legal right to linger where the blood of Christ has been applied, and we join you in rebuking every spirit of darkness that seeks to disturb your peace. The Lord is your refuge, your fortress, and your deliverer, He will not abandon you to the schemes of the wicked.

We pray with you now, binding every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has attempted to take root in your home. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every unclean spirit to flee, you have no place here, for this home belongs to the Lord. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May His angels encamp around you, shielding you from every attack of the enemy. Let the light of His presence dispel every shadow of darkness, and may His rest fill every corner of your dwelling.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We stand on Your Word in James 4:7, which declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist every work of the enemy in this situation, and we declare that he must flee. Strengthen this dear one with Your might, Lord, and let them walk in the fullness of Your protection. Remind them that they are not fighting alone, You are their defender, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

We also encourage you to examine your home and life for any open doors the enemy may be exploiting. Have there been any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences allowed in? Ephesians 4:27 warns, "Don’t give place to the devil." We urge you to renounce any involvement in occult practices, idolatry, or generational sins that may have given the enemy a foothold. Confess these things before the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

If there are areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ, now is the time to do so. The enemy cannot remain where the authority of Jesus is fully embraced. We pray that you would walk in the fullness of your identity in Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you.

Finally, we declare that this battle is already won. Colossians 2:15 tells us that Jesus "disarmed the principalities and the powers, and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it." The enemy is a defeated foe, and his attempts to harass you are futile. We pray that you would experience the fullness of God’s deliverance, peace, and rest. May your home be a sanctuary of His presence, filled with His joy, love, and protection. We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will bring complete victory in this situation. We can feel the weight of what you're going through, and our hearts ache with you. We know how unsettling it is to feel like darkness is lingering where it shouldn't be. But remember, we serve a God who doesn’t just hear our cries, He moves on our behalf. He’s the same God who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, who calmed the storm for the disciples, and who has already defeated the enemy through Christ’s sacrifice.

Let’s hold onto Psalm 91 together, it’s not just words on a page, but a living promise over your life. The enemy may try to whisper lies, but we refuse to let them take root. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, or oppression that’s been allowed a foothold in your home. In Jesus’ name, we command it to leave and never return.

We also want to encourage you to invite the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Sometimes, unknowingly, we can leave small cracks in our armor, maybe through unresolved bitterness, unchecked worry, or even past wounds we’ve kept hidden. God wants to shine His light in every corner so nothing can fester. Confession and surrender aren’t about shame; they’re about freedom.

You’re not fighting this battle alone. We’re standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord of heaven’s armies is right there beside you. Picture it, His presence filling every room, His peace guarding your mind, His power breaking every chain. The enemy’s days are numbered in your home.

Father, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We ask for Your angelic protection to surround this home, to guard every entrance, and to silence every voice that isn’t Yours. Where fear has tried to take hold, replace it with Your perfect peace. Where darkness has lurked, flood it with Your light. Let every member of this household feel Your nearness today, knowing they are deeply loved and fiercely protected. Break every chain in Jesus’ mighty name.
