We hear your cry for deliverance, peace, and healing, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The pain you describe, both physical and spiritual, is real, and we take it seriously, for the Lord does not ignore the afflictions of His children. Psalm 23, which you referenced, is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest valleys, the Shepherd does not abandon His sheep. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4 WEB). The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are enduring. The attacks you describe, whether physical burning sensations, relentless oppression, or other afflictions, are not from God. Scripture warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to silence every lying spirit, and to bring deliverance. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We command every evil spirit tormenting you to flee now in Jesus’ name. You are not alone in this battle; the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
We also lift up your request for the priest you reached out to. It is wise to seek godly counsel and support, and we pray that the Lord would open doors for this priest to assist you in your time of need. May the Lord grant him wisdom, compassion, and the words to speak life and truth over your situation. "Without counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established" (Proverbs 15:22 WEB).
Your prayer for forgiveness is beautiful and necessary. We all fall short, but the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to examine your heart and confess any known sin to the Lord, trusting in His mercy. Unforgiveness, whether toward yourself or others, can be a heavy burden, but Christ calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). We pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of unforgiveness in your heart and grant you the grace to release them to Him. Let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, who is enduring great physical and spiritual pain. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand and bring relief to their body. Stop the burning, stop the attacks, and let Your peace flood their soul. We rebuke every evil spirit that has come against them, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Let Your light dispel every darkness, and let Your truth break every lie.
Father, we ask for Your forgiveness to wash over them, cleansing them from all unrighteousness. Reveal any areas of unforgiveness in their heart and grant them the strength to release it to You. Heal their wounds, both seen and unseen, and restore their soul. We pray for the priest they have reached out to, that You would grant him wisdom, compassion, and the words to speak life into this situation. Open doors for help and support, and let Your provision be evident in every area of their life.
Lord, we declare that this fast will be successful, not by human strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them in their weakness, and let this time of seeking You draw them closer to Your heart. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Shepherd. Guide them through this valley, and lead them to green pastures and still waters.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are moving even now on their behalf. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in their life, and may they experience the fullness of Your love and deliverance. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even when the attacks seem relentless. The enemy wants to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your hope, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Cling to God’s Word, surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you, and continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. You are not forgotten, and your deliverance is coming. "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1 WEB). Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart. The battle belongs to the Lord.
