Ps. 23, gratitude, deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, rebuke this evil

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, rebuke this evil, success fast. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening and never seem to stop. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We rejoice with you in the truth of Psalm 23, a beloved passage that reminds us of God’s faithful care and provision. The Lord is your Shepherd, He leads you to rest, refreshes your soul, and guides you in righteousness. Even in the darkest valleys, He is with you, and His rod and staff bring comfort. What a beautiful promise that His goodness and love will follow you all your days!

Yet we hear the urgency in your prayer, your cry for deliverance, peace, and an end to relentless attacks. We stand with you in agreement, lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Lord is your refuge and fortress, no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Forgiveness is key, both receiving it and extending it. You’ve asked for forgiveness, and we declare that if you confess your sins, God is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). But we also encourage you to examine your heart: Are there areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin may be giving the enemy a foothold? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, "Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." We pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered so that you may walk in full freedom.

You also ask for success, fast. We pray for God’s favor and provision in your life, but we remind you that His timing is perfect. Psalm 37:7 says, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him." Trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. The attacks you face may be fierce, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm in faith, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We declare that ### is under the shadow of Your wings, protected and provided for. Lord, we ask for immediate deliverance from every attack of the enemy, break every chain, silence every lying voice, and shut every door that has been opened to darkness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ###’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask for forgiveness of sins, both known and unknown. Cleanse ### from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that need to be addressed, and grant the strength to release them into Your hands. We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Lord, we pray for success according to Your will, success that glorifies You and aligns with Your purposes. Grant wisdom, favor, and divine connections. Let Your goodness and mercy follow ### all the days of their life, and may they dwell in Your house forever.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment in Jesus’ name. We command every attack to cease and desist, and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers ### and their household. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in You alone, for You are our Shepherd, our Deliverer, and our Peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone, we stand with you in prayer, and the hosts of heaven are fighting on your behalf. Walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you!

We hear how tired you are. When attacks press in without a break, the green pastures and still waters of Psalm 23 can feel like a distant memory. But you’ve already anchored yourself in the only One who can carry you through, the Shepherd who walks right into the dark valley with you. Your prayer is not a set of disconnected requests; it’s the honest cry of a soul desperate for relief. And we believe He hears you.

Sometimes the enemy’s greatest tactic is simply to wear us down until we forget what is already true: you are forgiven, you are held, and the table is set even while the battle rages. You don’t need to wait for the attacks to stop before accepting His rest. Right now, you can close your eyes for a few moments and let Him make you lie down. Breathe. Picture yourself being led by still waters. That small act of trust can be a powerful defiance against the chaos.

Because this fight has been so unrelenting, we’d also gently encourage you not to carry it alone. If you haven’t already, consider sharing what’s happening with a pastor or a small, trusted prayer team. There is real strength when even a few believers agree in Jesus’ name, and the isolation wears thin when others stand with you.

Bring any lingering guilt into the light. You asked for forgiveness, receive it fully. Confession closes doors the enemy exploits. You are not condemned; you are clean.

Lord Jesus, in Your name we rebuke every spirit that harasses our friend. Command them to leave and never return. Let deep, soul-level rest settle over them tonight. Forgive every sin, remove every weight, and shield their mind. Shepherd them into peace that surpasses understanding. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Shepherd who leads you beside quiet waters is no stranger to the dark valley. Fear no evil, for He is with you; His rod and His staff, they comfort you, not always by removing the trial, but by His presence in it. The attacks that never seem to stop are permitted by a Father's hand; they are not the false peace of the devil that lulls men to sleep in sin, but they drive you to the bleeding side of Christ. Trust the Father, rest in Christ, yield to the Holy Spirit, and you shall have the peace that God gives, peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood that has made a full atonement.

The veil is rent; sin, the great divider, cannot shut you out. Look to Him; that is all you have to do. Look out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth from all sin, swept away as far as the east is from the west. When evil thoughts and dark doubts arise, remember the heart is a den of evil, but He that is in you is greater. Overcome evil with good; returning evil for evil is animal and injures only yourself, but good for evil is God-like. Leave the evil one to his own devices; withstand him and he will flee.

Flee not from the path of duty; many a saint has been tempted to fly away like a dove, but that way lies greater trouble. Fight it out, man! Stand your ground in the name and strength of God. You have prayed, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” He will deliver you from going down to the pit; that voice you shall always hear, if you are a child of God. Saved from yourself, saved from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, the infernal lion shall never rend one sheep that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep.

His Word is food for your hunger and medicine for your soul’s disease. Digest it with prayer, and it will be to His glory and your profit. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The words of the Psalmist are a strong tower for the soul besieged. When you say, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing,” you confess the very foundation of unshakable peace. This Shepherd does not promise a flock free from wolves; He promises His own presence in the valley of deep darkness. His rod and staff, which drive off the predator and guide the wandering sheep, these are your comfort, not the absence of trouble. So when attacks seem never to cease, remember: the enemy may roar, but he cannot snatch you from the Shepherd’s hand. The table He spreads is not in a quiet banqueting hall far from danger, but right in the face of those who trouble you. He anoints your head with oil even while the battle presses in, and your cup overflows not when every foe is dead, but when His Spirit fills you with unassailable joy in the midst of the conflict. That is the peace which passes understanding.

You ask for deliverance and a rebuke of this evil. God is indeed the righteous judge who rebukes the oppressor. But take care: the desire to see evil rebuked can become a snare if it tempts us to become accusers ourselves. Do not let the attacks drive you to return evil for evil, or to speak evil of those who harass you. Him that privily speaks against his neighbor, the Scriptures drive out from the holy places. If you would see the enemy put to flight, answer their hostility with a serene and forgiving spirit. When they revile, bless; when they scheme, pray. This is the sharpest rebuke you can offer, a soul so anchored in the peace of Christ that their blows find no rancor to strike back at. The peacemakers are called sons of God, while those who stir up strife do the work of the adversary. Choose daily to be a child of that peace.

And consider how our Lord Himself dealt with those who plotted against Him. When they questioned Him with deceit and malice, He did not always openly rebuke them but often met their craftiness with patient silence or gentle questions. He rebuked only when it would heal. So too, if you must speak a word of correction, let it be with great gentleness and after the manner of a physician, first proving the wound, then applying the incision, and always covering it with the balm of encouragement. A rebuke without love is a sword without a hilt; it wounds the one who wields it as much as the other.

Above all, seek peace and pursue it. Peace with God through the forgiveness of sins rests on this: that you also forgive from the heart those who trespass against you. Have you asked pardon for your own failings? Then extend it freely, even to those who attack you. For if we hold onto the injuries others inflict, we bar the door of our own forgiveness. Let there be no root of bitterness springing up to trouble you. Instead, let the joy of unanimity and the bond of love be your resting-place. The kingdom of God is not found in winning every conflict or in seeing every wrong avenged; it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When you dwell in that kingdom, you will find the rest you long for, even while the battle still rages outside.

So consider it a kind of blessedness when evil is falsely spoken against you. If an accusation stings, we often feel pain because some hidden weakness assents to it; but if you can laugh at the slander with a clear conscience, that is a proof of the Spirit’s work within you. Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. The Shepherd knows His own sheep. He will not let the wolf devour you. Rest in His care, forgive as you have been forgiven, and let the peace which comes from loving your enemies be the table set before you. Then the God of love and peace will indeed be with you, and every evil device will ultimately serve your good.

Your prayer opens with the very words the Shepherd has given you, and that is no small thing. When the attack feels relentless and the noise will not stop, the twenty-third psalm is not merely poetry; it is a fortress. You have declared, "The Lord is my shepherd." That is the starting place for everything you are asking: deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and the defeat of evil.

You asked for peace and rest, and rightly so, because the attacks have worn you down. Yet notice the order in the psalm. The Shepherd makes you lie down. He leads you beside quiet waters. This rest is not something you achieve by finally outsmarting the enemy or fixing everything yourself. It is a gift received in the middle of the chaos. You may find it hard to rest in faith, because your eyes keep drifting to the storm. But the only place you will ever truly rest is in that faith, a complete abandonment of your own efforts to control the outcome. Cease from your own works, just as God did from His, and enter into the rest He has already prepared. That is where the inner turmoil begins to quiet, not because the enemy has vanished, but because your mind is stayed on the One who holds you.

You also asked for deliverance and for a rebuke of this evil. The evil pursuing you is real, and hating it is the beginning of wisdom. But remember, you do not rebuke the enemy in your own authority. Keep the Lord between you and the adversary. Resist the enemy, and he will flee, but your confidence lies in this: Satan is a defeated foe. Jesus Christ has already won the victory. When these attacks persist, you are not called to render evil for evil or to be consumed by fretting over those who carry out wicked schemes. Instead, you turn to the spiritual weapon God has given you, which is exactly what you are doing right now, prayer. You are not ignoring the evil; you are handing it over to the only Judge who can truly handle it.

You pleaded for forgiveness, and that plea has been heard. The war with God is over because of the blood of Christ. Do not let the accuser whisper that your sins are not really forgiven. They are. When you confessed, He was faithful to cleanse you. You now have peace with God, and that is the foundation that can never be shaken. From that foundation, He offers you the peace of God, a calm that passes all understanding, even when the circumstances remain fierce.

So pray this way: Lord, I rest in You. I cannot defeat this evil in my own strength, so I commit my cause to You. Thank You that my sins are blotted out. I refuse to be a troubled sea that cannot rest; instead, I receive the quiet waters You lead me beside. I will dwell in Your house forever, and that eternal safety overshadows this present attack. Keep my eyes on You, for I will fear no evil as long as You are with me.
