We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom we have power over every evil force. Your prayer is heard, and we join our voices with yours to declare that the enemy has no place in your home, your mind, or your life. The Word of God assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have already taken the right step by rebuking the evil one in Jesus' name, and we stand firm with you in that resistance.
We also lift up your transition from your current job to the new firm. It is wise to seek peace and to forgive those who have wronged you, as the Lord commands in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is not for the other person alone, it is for your freedom and peace as well. We pray that the Lord will guard your heart and mind during these final weeks and that your new beginning will be blessed with favor, integrity, and joy.
Your reference to Psalm 121 is powerful, for it reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is your shade, your protector, and your keeper. We declare over you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Lord, we thank You for this dear one who has cried out to You in faith. We stand in agreement with them, declaring that every evil spirit that has sought to harass, torment, or disrupt their peace has no authority here. We rebuke every lying, deceiving, and oppressive spirit in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We break every assignment of the enemy over this home, this mind, and this life, and we release the peace of God to reign in its place.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over their final days at their current job. Guard their heart from bitterness, their mind from anxiety, and their spirit from offense. Help them to walk in forgiveness, even toward those who have sought to harm them. May Your grace be their strength, and may Your favor go before them into their new firm. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them wisdom, diligence, and favor with their new colleagues and leaders.
Lord, we also ask for Your forgiveness to flow freely in their heart. Search them, O God, and know their heart; try them and know their anxious thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in them, and lead them in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). Cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and renew a right spirit within them.
We declare that the Lord is their keeper, their shade, and their ever-present help in times of trouble. We speak rest over their soul, peace over their home, and deliverance from every snare of the enemy. May they experience the fullness of Your presence and the assurance of Your love.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Stand firm in your faith, continue to resist the enemy, and walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you. You are not alone, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is your help and your deliverer.
