Proverbs, Chapter 7

7:1 My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with you.

7:2 Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of your eye.

7:3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

7:4 Say to wisdom, You are my sister; And call understanding [your] kinswoman:

7:5 That they may keep you from the strange woman, From the foreigner who flatters with her words.

7:6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;

7:7 And I saw among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding,

7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house,

7:9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness.

7:10 And, look, there met him a woman With the attire of a prostitute, and wily of heart.

7:11 She is clamorous and willful; Her feet do not stay in her house:

7:12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lies in wait at every corner.

7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [And] with an impudent face she said to him:

7:14 Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day I have paid my vows.

7:15 Therefore I came forth to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.

7:16 I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

7:17 I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves.

7:19 For the man is not at home; He has gone on a long journey:

7:20 He has taken a bag of silver with him; He will come home at the full moon.

7:21 With her much fair speech she causes him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forces him along.

7:22 He goes after her right away, As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the correction of the fool;

7:23 Until an arrow strikes through his liver; As a bird hurries to the snare, And does not know that it is for his life.

7:24 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And attend to the words of my mouth.

7:25 Don't let your heart decline to her ways; Don't go astray in her paths.

7:26 For she has cast down many wounded: Yes, all her slain are a mighty host.

7:27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.

Jesus said unto him. I have been with you so long and yet you have not known me, Philip?  John 14.9   There are a lot of people who have been with Jesus very very long and yet they do not know Him at all.  These people need to know Him personally and serve Him with all their heart.  But the things of the world, the love of money and the opinion of other people on themselves proves them to reject Jesus instead of being a true witness for Him. Let us pray for these specific people who need us and need Jesus in their hearts.  Say to wisdom, you  are my sister.  Proverbs 7.4a  The begining of wisdom is in the fear of God.  Let us all share this good news to them so they will see the light and follow it cheerfully.

This chapter talks about idleness, mischief, adultery and unfaithfulness. It also warns us not to ruin our lives by immorality, but to let the Word of God rule our lives. We should dream big, set worthwhile goals and keep ourselves busy with Godly work. The young man in this verse had idle time to waste and was wondering around the streets at night; therefore, he was like a moth flying to the flame. During his idling he walked into the tempation to sin and the opportunity to sin. This happens to young people who aren't engage in constructive, worthwhile activities. The tempation to sin and the opportunity to sin happens to adults who do not keep the word of God as the apple of their eye.

"For satan always finds some mischief still for idle hands to do." - Isaac Watts.

A new year always brings new breakthroughs and you must take it because Jesus is on your side and wants to use all your talents for His glory and honor. There is no better time than now. So, start up serving God as a song leader, playing the guitar, being an usher, a greeter in the house of the Lord.  Get ready to receive amazing things Jesus wants to give you throughout the whole year. Be postive, believe the word of God. Do the best that you can to please Jesus above all things. Proverbs 7.19a  For the man is not at home.  Yes, he is very busy doing Gods work. Feeding the hungry at a soup kitchen,   Visiting the sick and those in jail, clothing the naked and helping the widows and the orphans.  There is always something to do for Gods kingdom.  Let us all start doing it right now.

Therefore, I came to meet you. Diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.  Proverbs 7.15   If we seek Gods face and presence, He will bless us greatly.  Let us all go to the house of the Lord and start praising Him for what He has done for each one of us.  Be thankful and bless others with all the blessings He has sent your way.

Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne  and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.  Revelation 5.13  Let us all bow down before the holy throne of God who is merciful and kind toward all of us.  He has provided all our food, shelter, and our vision and hearing are well enough to see and hear Gods word.  Blessed be His holy name now and forever more. Amen and Amen

God will carry you through every storm that comes into your life. Just wait for Him and pray that everyone will be OK when things are over. Proverbs 7.19a For the man is not at home. Yes we are not home because we are evangelizing the world, helping he elderly to get things done, feeding the hungry who roam the streets and visiting the prisoners to tell them about Jesus. We are not at home because we are working for Jesus.

Rejoice in the Lord alwyas. I will say again, rejoice.  Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.  The Lord is at hand.  Do not be anxious about anything.  Phil. 4.4   Do not let the devil rob you from the joy of the Lord.  Cast the devil out of your life and you will be serving Jesus with a thankful heart.  Prov. 7.27a  Her house is the way to Sheol.  Keep praying for the women that are going to hell and those who really need help right now.  Pray for the cheer leaders and those whom Jesus died for.  In Christs name. Amen
