Proverbs, Chapter 7

7:1 My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with you.

7:2 Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of your eye.

7:3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

7:4 Say to wisdom, You are my sister; And call understanding [your] kinswoman:

7:5 That they may keep you from the strange woman, From the foreigner who flatters with her words.

7:6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;

7:7 And I saw among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding,

7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house,

7:9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness.

7:10 And, look, there met him a woman With the attire of a prostitute, and wily of heart.

7:11 She is clamorous and willful; Her feet do not stay in her house:

7:12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lies in wait at every corner.

7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [And] with an impudent face she said to him:

7:14 Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day I have paid my vows.

7:15 Therefore I came forth to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.

7:16 I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

7:17 I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves.

7:19 For the man is not at home; He has gone on a long journey:

7:20 He has taken a bag of silver with him; He will come home at the full moon.

7:21 With her much fair speech she causes him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forces him along.

7:22 He goes after her right away, As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the correction of the fool;

7:23 Until an arrow strikes through his liver; As a bird hurries to the snare, And does not know that it is for his life.

7:24 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And attend to the words of my mouth.

7:25 Don't let your heart decline to her ways; Don't go astray in her paths.

7:26 For she has cast down many wounded: Yes, all her slain are a mighty host.

7:27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.

Dear Jesus, I place my confidence in you alone, because it is you that I need in my life. You will reward the good and punish the wicked. I want to be with you at all times. Now therefore... my sons.. listen to me. 7.24 Dear God we want to listen to your word all the time. Just like your servant Samuel who was hearing you calling at mid night. I believe in you and accept everything you have taught and reveal. Please help all your children who have all kinds of problems in life. You are a giver of life itself.  Oh my God, give strong faith. Like a musturd seed and it will move mountains. Thank you for your word. Speaks so loud and we need to hear it every day.  I love Oh God with my whole heart. Please forgive me for having offended you with my words, my thought and deeds. Cleanse my heart from evil and purify my soul with your love. Amen

We come to you this day oh lord Jesus because you have saved us from sin and evil. Now we trust in you and believe in your word. My Lord and saviour, behold me here at your feet. Asking forgiveness of all my sins and unrighteousness. Your holy presence is what we need today. I am sorry for all my sins and whatever I have done wrong. I have offended you so many times and I will try to live a holy life before you. We love you with my whole heart.  Your word tells me to KEEP MY WORDS. 7.1  Help me oh lord to keep your words and be the faithful servant you want me to be. To feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to visit the sick and the infirm and those who are in jail.  Please send more chaplains to all jails to tell the good news of Jesus to sinners who are lost and going to hell. In Jesus name. Amen

My prayer every single day  I wake up is... Stablish your word on your servant oh lord. Psalm 119.38  This verse makes my day and everything else I do goes without saying... wonderful with Jesus leading my thoughts and ideas. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God. We should trust God more and everythiing will be all right. And attend to the words of my mouth. 7.4  God is telling us to hear Him and obey his commands. Oh my God and my redeemer, I am here at your feet. Calling on your name day and night. Just like Enoc from old. Who walked with God and did not taste death. Please Jesus... come to me and fill my heart with your love and mercy. To be full of the Holy Spirit and to love others as I love myself. From the bottom of my heart..l am so sorry for all the sins I have committed. I promise no to do it again. Fill us with your mercy and compassion. In Christs name. Amen

Our lord Jesus have been carrying a heavy cross... all this is to bear our sins in his back so we can have salvation. He was so weak and ready to faint. So do we. Many times in our lives we are at the end of the rope and everything seems so dark and gloomy. Just like Jesus suffered we also suffer. But there is a promise. Even if I walk the darkness of life You oh lord are with me. Always guiding my steps in the right direction. Sometimes I am not paying attention to what I am doing but your guiding light always confort may soul. Now, therefore my sons, listen to me. And attend to the words of my mouth. 7.24  My God, my father and my lord. Allow me to listen, hear the words of your mouth speaking to the depths of my soul. Whom do I have in heaven.. buy you? and besides you I desire nothing but You. Psalm 73-25 When things go hard for me... sometimes I give up.  But Jesus is always there.. to reassure me. I am here. With you. Always.. until the end of the earth.  Amen and amen.

Come Holy Spirit into our hearts and souls. We need you every single day of our lives. Lay up my commandments with you 7.1 Help me lord to keep your commandments and live. Dispel the darkness from our minds and hearts. Help us to hear your words of wisdom.Open our eyes so we will be able to see your face in everything we do and say. And those who know your name, will put their trust in you, for you o lord have not forsaken those who seek you.  Psalm 9.10

As I search for the saving grace of our lord Jesus, we come to the cross where He died suffering untold pain and sorrow, feeling foraken and alone. My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?  His cry was heart all over the universe and the whole world trembled and quaked. Have you ever felt all alone and forsaken? It is a horrible feeling of being all alone in this earth. God wants to be your friend, your counselor, your guide. Say to wisdom, you are my sister, and call understanding your kingswoman. 7.4  May God give us wisdom to do what is right and to love our neighbors as ourselves. One day, we will see the face of Jesus and He certainly will ask. What did you do for me?  Did you feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visited the sick and the ones who are in jail? If you did those things. Then you did it for me.  Are we ready to do what Jesus asked? I truly hope so.

Is there a higher power over there? The question persist specially when we are found in trouble or problems arise and is not helping us at all. Why did He created us?  Why are we here? What is the purpose of life?  All these questions persist in our lives and only God can answer. Say to wisdom... you are my sisiter. 7.4  Oh that we should look into Jesus face and say that He is our wisdom and guide. Without Him we are nothing at all. All alone with Him is all it takes. Come unto me... He said. I will give you rest.  If you are going through a rough time. Then it is the best thing to do . Go to Jesus and He will answer all your questions. He never failed to anyone. And will never fail us also. Amen

You are my protector and strenght. Without You our lives would be meaningless. You are the light in my darkiness. Every morning when I wake up.. I look up to you Jesus. When is my Lord and saviour coming for us?  No one knows by the Father. He said. In the mean time He is my friend closer than a brother. He nevers judge us and never ever let us down. We are the ones who go away from Him and forget to read His word and pray as we should.  When I fall your hand is ready to lift us up. A friend closer than a brothers is always looking for us when we go away. You opened my heart to love others and first to love God above all things. I hear You saying... My son, keep my words. And lay up my commandments with you. 7.1  I just want to say thank you for the wonderful voice that speaks down deep in my soul. When I cry You wipe away my tears. When I am sad. You are closer to me conforting my  troubled soul. When I die.. I will be with You for ever and ever. Amen

I humbly come before you. Oh lord my Saviour and guide. In deepest gratitude I come for being so kind and good to all of us. No one can confort our hearts but you. I love you Jesus with my whole heart and soul. Your grace and mercy had been all I needed. Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me. This day I have paid my vows. 7.14  Please Lord, give me the grace to never ever to offend you. Instead I desire to bring peace offering in service to you, In church, at work and at home. May your holy name be praised and honored. Amen

Upon hearing the death of her mother, her eyes welled up with tear of sorrow and unbelief. She was so sad and troubled by the news. Then she began to pray silently. Suddenly, her heart was conforted. It seems that her mother came to tell her.. I am with God, in heaven. Do not worry, do not cry for me. I am waiting for everyone of you to come home. To heaven. Say to wisdom, you are my sister. And call understanding my kinswoman. 7.4. Give us Oh lord an understanding of our heavenly home. That our eyes should be on Jesus alone and not on the things of this world. Turn your eyes upon Jesus and the things of this world will mean notheing at all.
