Proverbs, Chapter 7

7:1 My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with you.

7:2 Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of your eye.

7:3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

7:4 Say to wisdom, You are my sister; And call understanding [your] kinswoman:

7:5 That they may keep you from the strange woman, From the foreigner who flatters with her words.

7:6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;

7:7 And I saw among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding,

7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house,

7:9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness.

7:10 And, look, there met him a woman With the attire of a prostitute, and wily of heart.

7:11 She is clamorous and willful; Her feet do not stay in her house:

7:12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lies in wait at every corner.

7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [And] with an impudent face she said to him:

7:14 Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day I have paid my vows.

7:15 Therefore I came forth to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.

7:16 I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

7:17 I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves.

7:19 For the man is not at home; He has gone on a long journey:

7:20 He has taken a bag of silver with him; He will come home at the full moon.

7:21 With her much fair speech she causes him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forces him along.

7:22 He goes after her right away, As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the correction of the fool;

7:23 Until an arrow strikes through his liver; As a bird hurries to the snare, And does not know that it is for his life.

7:24 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And attend to the words of my mouth.

7:25 Don't let your heart decline to her ways; Don't go astray in her paths.

7:26 For she has cast down many wounded: Yes, all her slain are a mighty host.

7:27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.

Proverb 7 reminds us how important it is to have Gods Word in our heart least we are easily led astray. If we are strong in faith and Word we are armed and when the firey darts present themselves we can withstand it. We will face these trials in life but the scriptures tell us to have the Word ever ready in us and we can speak to the moutains and they will move and not crush us.

Wonderful Jesus, wonderful lord, We come to you today thanking you for this wonderful chapter that was written on this page. We pray that you touch our hearts and souls so when we read the Bible we will obey its teachings and walk in the fear of the Lord Jesus. We just magnify and honor your holy name because of your mercy we are not consumed. Thank you for the wonderful teaching of pastors, Sunday school teachers and counselors. We pray for them all that you will bless them and fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit. The verse that has blessed me today is.... Prov. 7.1. My son keep my words. Abide with me Lord Jesus, fast falls the eventide, The darkness deepens, Lord abide with me.  When other helpers fail, and conforts flee, help of the helpless Lord abide with me. Out of the bottomless love of God comes His mercy and compassion on our lives. If we just stop and see what He has done for us so far... we will be so surprise what He has done. When darkness come and it seems that no one is there to help, Jesus who bore our sorrows and pain, is there to help and guide our steps.  This is the gospel of grace and mercy where we shouls stop and meditate upon and see how great really is our God. If you are going through a rough time do not doubt one single minute that He has forgotten you. He did not.  He never forgets His dear children.  Prov. 7.2 tell us. Keep my commandments and live. So many times we forget this precious admonition God is giving us. We tend to do evil and go astray and then trouble comes and we have to return to God again in repentance. Let our prayer be... Your commandments oh Lord will I do and follow your instructions. To save souls and to pray for those who need God right now. We pray all of this in Christs name. Amen

Do you want to be a happy Christian?  then follow this advise from God. Do not ever let little things distub you. Because you have the presence of God in you. Face your day knowing that Jesus has planned everything for you. Do not worry or fret about the future. Give all your cares to Jesus because He cares for you. God is saying. My son keep my words. Prov. 7.1  Listen to God evry single day.

This Scripture lay down God foundation to posses his gifts and blessings. God want us to obey him, walk in him and settling in his faithfulness, listening to his direction and obtaining his wisdom  and understanding. We as Christians need to follow God advised, watching out for that strange women mentioned who have come to steal and killed our divine destiny set before us. Let us wise to grab God's commandment and be an example, i Jesus name.

Probably you have been in a place that your life seemed to be perfect and did not need God at all and all your needs were satisfied and you did not need anyones help. Well, that happens all the time to people who forget that every year that goes away we get older and older. Pain everywhere starts to come up and people are telling us that we are over the hill and you fell that life is a waste of time because we all will end up in a nursing home when we cannot walk, talk or see. Jesus told us that our life is like a smoke. You see it for a moment and then it is gone for ever. So, let us start thinking about eternity. Where Jesus lives . He is waiting for us with open arms. For the man is not home. He has gone in a long journey. Prov.7 19 We will be on our own long jouney to heaven. Are we ready to see our Master? Are we working for His glory and honor? Are we keeping His commandments? I do hope so.
