Proverbs, Chapter 18

18:1 He who separates himself seeks [his own] desire, And rages against all sound wisdom.

18:2 A fool has no delight in understanding, But only that his heart may reveal itself.

18:3 When the wicked comes, there comes also contempt, And with ignominy [comes] reproach.

18:4 The words of a man's mouth are [as] deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is [as] a gushing brook.

18:5 To respect the person of the wicked is not good, [Nor] to turn aside the righteous in judgment.

18:6 A fool's lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for stripes.

18:7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul.

18:8 The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts.

18:9 He also who is slack in his work Is brother to him who is a destroyer.

18:10 The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it, and is safe.

18:11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, And as a high wall in his own imagination.

18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty; And before honor [goes] humility.

18:13 He who gives answer before he hears, It is folly and shame to him.

18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; But a broken spirit who can bear?

18:15 The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

18:16 A gift of man makes room for him, And brings him before great men.

18:17 He who pleads his cause first [seems] just; But his fellow man comes and searches him out.

18:18 The lot causes contentions to cease, And parts between the mighty.

18:19 A brother offended [is harder to be won] than a strong city; And [such] contentions are like the bars of a castle.

18:20 A man's belly will be filled with the fruit of his mouth; With the increase of his lips he will be satisfied.

18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue; And those who love it will eat its fruit.

18:22 Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor of Yahweh.

18:23 The poor uses entreaties; But the rich answers roughly.

18:24 He who has many companions [does it] to his own destruction; But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Let us not offend our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Jesus told us to love them not to judge them or offend them. Specially the married couples who have their differences. Jesus is ready to help them overcome all things that happens in their home. What kind of example are we giving to our children?  They take every single thing we say and do. A brother offended is harder to be won. 18.19  Let us obey the word of God. Oh lord God you are my redeemer,l and I am here at your feet, crying. From the bottom of my heart I am sorry for offending you. Who are good and merciful and kind. Please give peace to those who need it. Heal their marriages and save the souls of those who are lost. Amen

There is not a craving in my heart and soul that Jesus cannot fill. There is no need with Him when we do His will. There is not a pleasure that I would seek, Except being with Him in prayer.  He said to me.. Pray so that you may not enter into temptation.  Let us all talk to the Master, Be in constant communication with Him. The Eternal one hears all you want to say. From hour to hour He fills my soul with His love and mercy. He supplies my evey need that comes from heaven above.  Say.. thank you God for giving me so much of yourself and all my needs are met. The spirit of man will sustain his infirmity. 18.14  May my spirit be full of God. Walking, talking and sleeping all are done with Jesus in our hearts.  Yes, Jesus is my all in all. He stills my troubled soul. When torments of problems arise. He is by my side. May my infirmity be together with God no matter what. Sadness, forsakeness, loneliness anything with God is possible. He is my rock, my strenght and my song. Let us all sing praises to Him at all times. He is worthy of our love and gratitude. Let us all come into His gates with thanksgiving and praise for ever and ever. Amen

In the presence of our Lord Jesus there is fullness of joy and happiness everlasting. He is our God, He is almighty and He can do all things that is impossible for man. He is the prince of peace. He said... my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth. Wonderful saviour and Lord. We worship you and adore your holy name. Troubles vanish and hearts are mended in His holy presence there is fullness of joy. The name of Yahweh is strong tower. The righteous runs into it, and it is safe. 18,10  If you have troubles of all kinds and there is none to help.. then run into the arms of Jesus. He want us to trust Him more. He conforts my soul when trouble comes. Is there anyone who would do that for us?  No one. Mans help cannot compare to the love of almighty and wonderful Lord Jesus. We praise you and adore your holy name. Amen

When we have troubles and worries we remember to praise God.  But when things get better....we sometimes let prayer and praise slip and tend to feel that we are solely responsible for the good things that happen.  We must always remember to stay in prayer.  God blesses us and allows wonderful things to happen in our lives.  Always give God the glory.

Crown Him the Lord of life, who triumphed over the grave. And rose victorious in the strife. For those he came to save. His glory now we see. He died so eternal life He could give. I just want to glorify your holy name lord Jesus. You are certainly victorious over the grave and rose to give us life. We should not fear death or dying because Jesus is on our side and He will never eve leave us. Even at our death bed we should be praising and honoring God for His wonderful plan of salvation for all of us who believe. Your glory oh Lord I want to see when in heaven I arrive. My eternal heavenly Father will be waiting for me. Hearing His voice I will bow down and worship. Enter into the rest of your Lord.  He will say.  We magnify your holy name. Oh Lord most High. Praises and honor shall be in my lips from early morning to late night. And at midnight I will be praising your holy name again and again. Proverbs 18.21  Death and life are the power of the tongue. Lord Jesus. May my mouth be used to bless and never ever to curse or idle talk about others. Cleanse my heart from all sin and I will bless your name forever and ever. Amen

In the midst of disappointments and betrayals, we may identify with Jesus’ words to His heavenly Father on the Cross from Psalm 22: “My God My God why have you abandoned me?†And yet, remember that in His glorious Resurrection our Lord was not abandoned by His Heavenly Father ultimately, any more than we’ll be if we place our hope and trust in Him in prayer.
