Proverbs, Chapter 15

15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath; But a grievous word stirs up anger.

15:2 The tongue of the wise utters knowledge aright; But the mouth of fools gushes out folly.

15:3 The eyes of Yahweh are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.

15:4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life; But perverseness in it is a breaking of the spirit.

15:5 A fool despises his father's correction; But he who regards reproof gets prudence.

15:6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure; But in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

15:7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge; But the heart of the foolish is not so.

15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is disgusting to Yahweh; But the prayer of the upright is his delight.

15:9 The way of the wicked is disgusting to Yahweh; But he loves him who follows after righteousness.

15:10 There is grievous correction for him who forsakes the way; [And] he who hates reproof will die.

15:11 Sheol and Abaddon are before Yahweh: How much more then the hearts of the sons of man!

15:12 A scoffer does not love to be reproved; He will not go to the wise.

15:13 A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance; But by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken.

15:14 The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge; But the mouth of fools feeds on folly.

15:15 All the days of the afflicted are evil; But he who is of a cheerful heart [has] a continual feast.

15:16 Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, Than great treasure and turmoil with it.

15:17 Better is a dinner of herbs, where there is love, Than a stalled ox and hatred with it.

15:18 A wrathful man stirs up contention; But he who is slow to anger appeases strife.

15:19 The way of the sluggard is as a hedge of thorns; But the path of the upright is made a highway.

15:20 A wise son makes a glad father; But [a] foolish man despises his mother.

15:21 Folly is joy to him who is void of wisdom; But a man of understanding makes straight his going.

15:22 Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; But in the multitude of counselors they are established.

15:23 A man has joy in the answer of his mouth; And a word in due season, how good it is!

15:24 To the wise the way of life [goes] upward, That he may depart from Sheol beneath.

15:25 Yahweh will root up the house of the proud; But he will establish the border of the widow.

15:26 Evil devices are disgusting to Yahweh; But pleasant words [are] pure.

15:27 He who is greedy of gain troubles his own house; But he who hates bribes will live.

15:28 The heart of the righteous studies to answer; But the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil things.

15:29 Yahweh is far from the wicked; But he hears the prayer of the righteous.

15:30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart; [And] good news make the bones fat.

15:31 The ear that harkens to the reproof of life Will reside among the wise.

15:32 He who refuses correction despises his own soul; But he who harkens to reproof gets understanding.

15:33 The fear of Yahweh is the instruction of wisdom; And before honor [goes] humility.

God will always bring the right people into your life.  Keep them. Jesus want us all to have someone to hear our pain and sorrow.  Let the wrong people walk away  from you and start praying for the salvation of their souls.  They also need God in their hearts because they are empty and lost.  Decide today to help someone you see on the street and bring them to the cross of Jesus.  Proverbs 15.16.  Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh.  If you are full of the Holy Spirit in your life and have Jesus leading you to heaven then little things will become great things.  Fear God and keep His commandments this is the whole duty of man and women.

Give me a spirit of peace dear Lord. When I am going through storms in my life. Be my refuge and my confort. When others refuse to hear your call, help me not give up from them. I pray that you will save them and bring them back to church and be faithful to the end. A scoffer does not love to be reproved. Prov. 15.12a We pray for all scoffers and all sinners to come to our services tonight and get saved. Jesus please... fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit so they will be conquerors through the Blood of Jesus. Amen

Faith tells me that no matter what lies ahead of me, God is already there to help us, direct our steps.  If we lost our house and there is no money to pay the bills. Then there is time to trust God and believe that He will provide for our needs.  Seek and you will find. Ask and you will receive. Proverb 15.16a  Better is little with the fear of Yahweh.

When others reject you, let God accept you. He is not frowning, He is not mad. He is waiting for you with open arms and wants you to be happy and enjoy life. God loves you so much that He wants you to be with Him when you die. Proverbs 15.13a A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance. Let us be glad in the Lord Jesus. His promises are true. He will come to us and save us from all evil that is to come.

Love builds relationships, selfishness erodes them.  No wonder Paul the apostle told us long ago. Do nothing from selfishness.  Phil. 2.3  If you feel selfish then go and pray for yourself and ask Jesus to take away all selfishness so the light of God will shine upon us and we will be a blessing to those who we relate to.  He who refuses correction despises his own soul.  Prov. 15.32a  Never ever refuse correction from the Lord. He loves you so much and as His own dear children will correct you and guide you through trials and temptations.  Bless the Lord when you are being corrected.  It is for your own good.

But God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. 1 Cor. 14.33  This days where all kinds of false teachers, false preachers and evangelists have come out of the wood are claiming each one of them to have the ultimate truth.  Do not believe them.  Believe what the word of God says. God is not the author or confusion.  Let us all look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Proverbs 15.7a  The lips of the wise disperse knowledge.   Dear God, use our lips to praise and honor your holy name.  To bless others and not to curse them.   To pray for our pastor and the whole family of God.  Bless us with your holy presence in our services this coming weekend.  In Your name. AMen

Rejection causes anger. Aceptance causes joy. Jesus have accepted us as sons and dauthers and we should be thankful for that. Serve the Lord with gladness He will reward you someday in heaven. A wise son makes glad the father. Prov. 15.20a Please, let us all make glad our heavenly Father by using all our talents that He gave us. To sing praises to God in the choir. To serve as deacon or an elder in our church. To be a counselor and faithful servant of God. Song leaders are wonderful singers. They bless me all the time.

A soft answer turns away wrath.  Proverbs 15.1a  Do not yell or scream to your children because they will learn the wrong way to talk to others.  Just as Jesus talked, you talk. To the Samaritan woman He said.  You had many husbands and the one you have right now. It is not your husband.  That was not yelling. That was not scolding.  It was telling the truth.  The woman respònded.  I believe you are a prophet.  That answer opened the road to heaven for a woman who was a sinner and needed salvation right there.
