Proverbs, Chapter 13

13:1 A wise son [hears] his father's instruction; But a scoffer does not hear rebuke.

13:2 A man will eat good by the fruit of his mouth; But the soul of betrayers [will eat] violence.

13:3 He who guards his mouth keeps his life; [but] he who opens his lips wide will have destruction.

13:4 The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent will be made fat.

13:5 A righteous man hates lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.

13:6 Righteousness guards him who is upright in the way; But wickedness overthrows the sinner.

13:7 There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing: There is one who makes himself poor, yet has great wealth.

13:8 The ransom of a man's life is his riches; But the poor hears no threatening.

13:9 The light of the righteous rejoices; But the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

13:10 By pride comes only contention; But with the well-advised is wisdom.

13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity will be diminished; But he who gathers by labor will have increase.

13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick; But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

13:13 Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself; But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

13:14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

13:15 Good understanding gives favor; But the way of betrayers is hard.

13:16 Every prudent man works with knowledge; But a fool flaunts [his] folly.

13:17 A wicked messenger will fall into evil; But a faithful ambassador is health.

13:18 Poverty and shame [will be to] him who refuses correction; But he who regards reproof will be honored.

13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; But it is disgusting to fools to depart from evil.

13:20 Walk with wise men, and you will be wise; But the friend of fools will smart for it.

13:21 Evil pursues sinners; But the righteous will be recompensed with good.

13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to the sons of his sons; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

13:23 Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor; But there is that which is destroyed by reason of injustice.

13:24 He who spares his rod hates his son; But he who loves him chastens him diligently.

13:25 The righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul; But the belly of the wicked will want.

I will praise Thee, Oh lord my God. with all my heart will I glorify Thy name forever. Psalm  86.12  As I search the Scripture for the saving grace of our lord, we come to terms of service to God in any way possible. Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and taking the gospel of Jesus to those who are in jail. I know one day we will see Gods face, in heaven when He will ask if we have done what He told us to do. What would we say?  Yes Lord, we have done everything you told us to do. Let us seek His face each and every single day. It is worth it. It make us our day. Because we are walking in His steps and He is leading us all the way through trials and tribulations. But we have the victory in Jesus.  13.25  The righteous eat to the satisfying of his soul. Let us eat the bread of life that Jesus gives us in His word. Wordly bread will makes us more hungry and never satisfy our souls. But Gods bread is eternal. Let us all eat that bread.

Very powerful here...Lord Jesus, I thank you for your precious blood and thank you for your words of wisdom on today.  We pray over our children today that they may hear the words of instruction and listen to their rebuke and chastisement.  May we always work diligently and our sons and daughters will also do the same. In Jesus Name Amen.

Create in me oh Lord a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. This is my prayer today in preparation for services tomorrow. Our youth group is getting ready for service to Jesus in serving the homeless and those who lost their jobs. Lots of people need Christians who are committed to Jesus and to visit the sick in the hospitals. God bless them all when they do the will of God. The people who know their God will display strenght and take action. Daniel 11.32 May God give us strenght go out in our vans to take unbelievers to church and pray that they will get saved. Jesus is coming soon so we must be prepared to see Him face to face and to offer Him a sacrifice of souls won for eternity. Prob 13.9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth. May God shine His face upon us and give us wisdom on how to help other and they may see Jesus in us all. We pray in Jesus name. Amen

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither there shall be any more pain, for the former things are all passed away. Revelation 21.4 This is a wonderful promise for all those are depressed, unhappy and lonely. God want you to be your friend who is closer than a brother. He has healed the broken hearted and those who are thinking about suicide because they think no one likes them Specially the obese people who think that because of their bodys shape no one loves them. JESUS LOVES YOU SO MUCH THAT HE DIED FOR YOU TO HAVE LIFE EVERLASTING.

Behold, I tell you a mistery. We shall not all sleep. But we will be raised. In triumph in glory with God our Father. This is such a wonderful hope to live in the presence of our God all the days of our lives.  This chapter in Proverbs tells us the hope we have and the life that we should live while on earth. A good man leaves an inheritance to his sons son. Prov. 13.22 The best inheritance we can leave to our grand children is our example of holy and pure lives before God and before others. Reading the Bible every day. Praying and fasting without ceasing, and feeding the hungry clothing the naked and visiting the sick. Just as Jesus told us to do . What a beautiful example and inheritance that will be.

Through Him then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to HIs name. Heb. 13.15  This was the center of our discussion at our Sunday School. How are we praising God today?  Are we really giving God the glory due His name?  He is all majesty and power. He is everywhere and He loves us so much that we should continuallly give the honor due His name.  We bow down and praise, honor and glory in your name oh LOrd our God. You have been so faithful and true. and none of us deserve anything from you but in your infintie mercy you have saved us and given us hope for eternal life. The light of the righteious rejoiceth. Prov 13.9  Let our light shine before unbelievers, agnostics, atheists and those who reject the word of God. Pray for them and ask Jesus to save them all we pray in Jesus name. Amen

Evil pursueth sinners. But to the righteious good shall be repaid. Prov. 13.21 It is no wonder that the devil rejoices when someone is so depressed and cannot get out of fear of the future. Demons torment them and make them act strange. We should pray for those tormente souls that cannot find rest on anything except on Jesus arms. The good that the righteous do it will be repaid and we should praise and honor God for that. Heavenly Father, save the souls of those who are tormente by the devil. They cannot live in peace with their spouse. Are not able to hold a job because of the anger and stress they are in. Save them all please and fill them with the Holy Spirit so they can see the light at the end of the tunnel. In Your name Amen
