Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I join my heart with yours before Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, with thanksgiving for your love for your children and your urgency for their protection.
I pray with you for the covering of the precious blood of Jesus over you, your home, your hearts and your minds. May the Lord Himself guard every door and window and room and corner of your home tonight and let His peace that surpasses all understanding keep you. I ask Him to grant you and your children a restful and peaceful night under the shadow of His wings, free from fear and torment.
I lift up your son to the Lord. I ask Jesus to calm his thoughts and emotions, to quiet anxiety and frustration and confusion, and to give him deep and gentle rest. I pray that God will give him grace to use his words to express his feelings and needs, and that He will fill his days with joy and his nights with comfort. The Lord sees his struggles and yours, and His compassion does not fail. May He strengthen you to love and guide your son with patience and wisdom.
I lift up your younger daughter as well. I ask the Lord to protect her body and mind, to bless her health and her studies and her work with His favor, to surround her with uplifting and godly friendships, and in His perfect time to provide a godly husband according to His will. May she sleep tonight in confidence of His love, guarded from all harm, and may the hurt she feels over her sister be comforted by the nearness of Christ.
I also bring your older daughter before the Lord with great care. I do not ask God to bless the living arrangement outside of marriage, for Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that living together and sexual intimacy belong within that covenant alone. What God calls holy we cannot call otherwise. So I pray instead for her deliverance and restoration. I ask Jesus to open her eyes to truth, to break every ungodly tie that binds her, to restore her wisdom and her sense of worth in Him, and to free her from any pressure, manipulation, confusion or control that would isolate her from her family and from the purpose God has for her. I pray that she will no longer feel obligated or trapped, that she will grow tired of what brings exhaustion and chaos, and that she will find the courage to step away from this bondage and return to safety, to home, to faith and to wholeness. I pray that any schemes that cause division and demand that her time with family be conditional or that use her to support another's habits would be frustrated and come to nothing, and that she would be released to make decisions with a clear and gentle mind. In God's grace and timing I pray He will lead both of your daughters to godly marriages if it is His will, built on piety, gentleness, and the fear of God.
For you, I ask the Lord to fill you with wisdom, grace, strength and courage for this season. He has seen your tears and heard your cries. May He restore love and unity and laughter to your family, rooted in His grace, and let no outside influence bring division. I pray He will provide for your finances so that you may be a blessing to others, and that this year would be marked by His mercy, healing and restored fellowship.
I declare with you that no weapon formed against you and your family shall prosper, for our deliverance and our adoption as children of God come through Christ alone. May His light shine into every dark place and may your home be filled with His presence and glory. I trust Him with you completely for your protection and for the good of your children.
