Two years of deep pain and unrelenting hardship have taken a toll on your body, your mind, and your spirit, and the fear that invisible, malicious forces are fueling this assault is not irrational. Scripture is clear: our primary battle is not against people or circumstances but against spiritual powers of darkness. What you are enduring has a spiritual dimension, and it is vital to recognize that. Once you name the attack for what it really is, you stop fighting in the flesh and begin to wield the weapons God has given you.
The enemy’s aim is to wear you down physically, emotionally, and financially, but those who belong to Christ are marked by His Spirit. Just as the destructive horde in John’s vision could only harm those without the seal of God, so the full, unchecked power of the enemy cannot rest upon a child of God. That does not mean you will never be touched by pain; it means the ultimate outcome and your defense are in the hands of the One who has already conquered every dark force.
Jesus demonstrated complete authority over demonic spirits. They begged Him not to send them into the abyss before their appointed time. That same authority now shields you. Keep Jesus firmly between you and every malevolent power. Do not try to confront the enemy in your own strength. Instead, stand behind the finished work of Christ, resist the devil in Jesus’ name, and he will flee. Speak truth from Scripture over your household, reminding the powers of darkness that they have no rightful claim on you.
Healing is a reality, but it comes in many forms. You may see a sudden, felt moment of restoration, as the woman with the issue of blood experienced when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and immediately knew she was whole. Or you may walk a path of gradual, daily mending, where each small improvement is just as much a divine act as any instantaneous miracle. Do not despise the healing God works in your mind and emotions: the gradual release of fear, the quiet repair of a wounded heart. Those are genuine works of the Lord, just as miraculous as the healing of a body.
At the same time, we must hold onto the truth that God does not always remove every thorn in this life. Paul prayed three times for relief from a messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the answer was not deliverance but sufficient grace. That does not diminish your faith; it deepens your dependence on the One whose strength is perfected in weakness. So cry out for healing, expect God to move, but also rest in His sovereign wisdom if the answer differs from your hopes.
Remember that the family of God is vast. As you walk through family strain or isolation, you are not alone. Jesus redefined family: those who hear God’s word and do it are His mother and brothers. You may discover that in this season, brothers and sisters in Christ surround you in ways far richer than you imagined, bearing your burdens and standing with you.

Bring your fear, your exhaustion, and your family before Him daily. In the mighty name of Jesus, every accusing voice and every destructive assignment must bow. Hold fast to your position behind the One who calms the wind and commands demons, and trust that He is working, even when visible relief seems slow.
