Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us, breaking us physically, mentally & financially. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already overcome the world and every spiritual force of darkness. Your acknowledgment of Him as your fortress and healer is powerful, and we join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The battles you face are indeed not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world, yet we do not fight alone. The Lord of Hosts is your defender, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7).

We rebuke every ungodly power, every spirit of fear, sickness, and financial lack that has been assigned to bring harm to you and your family. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for the Word declares that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may have sought to break you, but we declare that the Lord is your strength, your shield, and your refuge. He will not allow your foot to be moved, and He who keeps you will not slumber (Psalm 121:3-4).

We pray for your complete protection, spirit, soul, and body. May the Lord surround you with His hedge of thorns, making a way where there seems to be no way. We ask for divine healing over every medical challenge you face, trusting in the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for financial provision, that the Lord would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you until there is no more need (Malachi 3:10).

Do not grow weary in this season, for the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stand firm in faith, knowing that after the trial comes the testimony, and after the battle comes the victory. We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you through this valley into green pastures.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister and their family, lifting them up in the powerful name of Jesus. We ask that You would break every chain of sickness, fear, and lack that has sought to ensnare them. Release Your healing virtue, Your peace, and Your provision into their lives. Let Your light shine in their darkness, and let Your glory be their rear guard. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your joy as they wait upon You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Two years of heavy medical strain and unrelenting hurdles will wear down anyone, and when it touches the whole family, the exhaustion and fear only multiply. We hear you, and we hurt with you. It’s not surprising that when illness drags on, everything begins to feel fragile. Energy runs thin, hope flickers, and the mind can fixate on whether something darker is working against you. You named a fear of spiritual attack, and we don’t dismiss that, yet we also know that long-term pain, by itself, can make every setback feel like a coordinated assault. That’s how the human heart works under siege.

What often helps in a season like this, even in small ways, is refusing to carry it quietly. The medical burden will keep demanding attention, but the isolation that so easily sets in can be challenged. Is there one or two people from your church, a small group, a trusted friend, an elder, who could commit to praying with you regularly and simply checking in? Not with quick answers, but with steady presence. Sometimes the most powerful counter to darkness is a brother or sister who brings a meal, sits in the waiting room, or asks honestly how your spirit is doing. Your family doesn’t have to walk this alone.

Jesus, we bring this family before You now. In the name that silences every evil, we ask for a hedge of protection around them, body, mind, and finances. Where illness has settled, bring Your healing touch. Where fear has whispered lies, speak Your peace. Give them windows of rest, and rally around them people who will see their hidden burdens and step into the gap with practical love. Hold them steady, Lord, and let them know in their bones that You are near. Amen.

The battle is not against flesh and blood, and you have rightly discerned the source of these hidden burdens. Yet consider this: the Lord delights to exalt the low tree. Is your family brought low after these two years of pain? Then you stand where Joseph stood in the dungeon, where Israel groaned in Egypt, where Hannah wept in bitterness of soul. The dry tree, by divine grace, shall flourish. The high tree of proud, ungodly powers shall be cut down by the axe of judgment, but that which is humbled and broken shall mount even to the stars by the husbandman’s care.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ for such a season. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of that Tree are for the healing of the nations. Do you grasp this? The least thing about Christ is full of virtue. His common mercies, His lower blessings, these are enough to change the lifeblood, to alter the spirits, to make the nature other than it was. Those faces in glory, so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, owe their brightness to these healing leaves. They are for you now.

And mark this: healing and pardon are joined together. When the Lord comes and dwells with a people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Why should the inhabitants of your household any longer say, “I am sick,” when the people who dwell there are forgiven their iniquity? From a pardoning God there flow such mercies that our weak spirits suddenly revive. At one sudden sweep of the divine wave of mercy, all is washed away. There is no half-pardon; there is full forgiveness, and with it full healing for every hidden wound.

You fear ungodly powers and spiritual forces of darkness. But remember: the power of the Lord to heal is conspicuously present even now. It was when Christ was teaching that the power was present to heal upon a certain day, and it is through His Word that this virtue flows. The utmost length of human sickness and satanic assault can be reached by this great Physician. Have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer. Your family’s broken hearts, whether from medical challenges, financial strain, or these hidden burdens, are precisely what He binds up. He heals the broken in heart, and the act of justification, the very word of pardon, is often apart from all means: God only does it.

Hear this believingly and obediently. Do not let unbelief restrain the hand of God and keep back the blessing. That which we do not accept as true can be of no service to us, especially where everything comes by faith. Bring out these fears, these hard thoughts, these fancied terrors of revenge, and lay them at His feet. The healing point is contact with Christ, He took her by the hand, and lifted her up. There is healing in that touch of the Incarnate One. He speaks with divine authority: “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” If you are penitent and believe in His grace, He says it to you and your household.

Let this healing then spring forth into service. When the fever left Peter’s mother-in-law, immediately she arose and ministered. But you must have this healing before you can work for Jesus. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him. So in the family, do all for the Lord Jesus Christ. Sweeten those commonplace duties with love for Him, and wait upon Him who exalts the low tree and causes the dry tree to shoot forth. He will step in. The healing flood of His love has no boundary: “Up to here can you go and no further” shall none say. God bless you in this.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for protection, and rightly so, for the trials you describe are heavy and the fear of hidden spiritual malice presses hard upon your soul. Yet I must ask you: what is it you truly fear? Is it the loss of health, of property, of earthly comfort? For these are the very things that make the thorns in our Lord’s parable, the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches that choke the word and leave it fruitless. When we tremble more at what may befall our bodies or our bank than at what befalls our souls, we grant the enemy a foothold far greater than any curse. God indeed sends afflictions, even severe medical trials, not as a sign of His abandonment but as a fire to burn away the dross. If you believe that your battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness, then you must also believe that these forces are chained. They cannot move a single inch without the permission of the One who holds the keys of hell and death. Why then do you speak as though they were sovereign?

Consider Ananias, trembling at the name of Paul, convinced that the wolf was already at the door. The Lord did not chide him merely for fear but for the unbelief that lurked beneath it. “He is a chosen vessel,” God said, not a loose cannon. So too, the trials that have visited your household these two years are not wild, purposeless attacks. The sword that strikes you, whether wielded by sickness or want or the malice of men, is still a minister of God, even if the one holding it does not know it. It is sent to terrify those who commit sin, yes, but also to drive the duller sort of soul to seek its only refuge. When you feel the edge, run not to panic but to the feet of Christ. The women at the tomb held Him by the feet and worshipped; He met their terror with, “Be not afraid.” That command is not a suggestion. It is a gift He gives to those who will stop scanning the horizon for fresh disasters and fix their eyes on the risen Lord.

You ask God to step in. But He has already stepped in, in Christ, and you stand in the very midst of that victory. The gates of brass are broken. The keepers of hell cowered in fear at the crucifixion of the Lord. What then remains for you to dread? Fever, debt, the spite of neighbors? Let these things come; they cannot separate you from the love of God unless you let them. Indeed, if you let the fear of them dominate your prayers, you are like a man who shuts himself inside while his neighbor’s house burns, forgetting that the fire may not respect his walls. The only secure refuge is complete abandonment to God’s will. Do not go about making scrupulous inquiry into every hidden design of evil; that is not discernment but cowardice. The one who lives in constant dread of secret enemies has already been conquered, for his mind whirls with earthly retributions and his faith grows weak.

Take up Christ’s yoke instead, the one He calls easy and light. It seems hard only because we clutch our own burdens so tightly. Learn from Him, who was meek and lowly of heart, and you will find rest for your souls, rest not in the absence of storms but in the knowledge that the Master of the storm is in the boat with you. Stop looking so intently at the waves. Yes, the pain has been long; the hurdles are many. But remember that the righteous are not promised a smooth path; they are promised a faithful Guide. Let your prayer shift from “Lord, remove this” to “Lord, keep me faithful through this, and let no bitter root of fear or anger spring up in me.” For if He sees fit to allow the trial to continue, it is because He is more concerned with the purity of your gold than with your temporary ease. Do not be a careless hearer of these words; let them not simply astonish you for a moment and then vanish. Go home carrying this: that the God who did not spare His own Son will with Him freely give you all things, including the strength to endure every hidden assault, whether from men or demons. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated beast on a short chain. The real battle is within your own heart, to trust when sight fails, to stand when everything shakes, and to believe that the One who called you into His marvelous light will guard what you have entrusted to Him until that final Day.

The battle you are facing is real, and the enemy you sense pressing in is not a product of imagination. Scripture tells us plainly that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. That truth can feel overwhelming until we remember who stands with us. The same Jesus who silenced demons with a word, who will not allow them to touch those sealed by God, is your shield. Their power is limited and their time is measured. They begged not to be sent into the abyss before the appointed hour; they know a judgment awaits. You, however, belong to the One who holds all authority.

I hear the cry behind your words: “Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Where is your God?” Two years of deep pain, endless hurdles, and the weight of watching your family suffer physically, mentally, and financially, it is no small thing. The darkness tries to whisper that God has hidden His face, that you are forgotten, that the affliction is proof of His anger or His absence. But that is a lie. The Lord does not punish His children; He corrects, He refines, He draws us back to the narrow path. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep His word. That does not mean every pain is a direct consequence of personal sin, but it does mean God is at work in the fire. He is not bankrupt. He is not panicking over your finances or your health. He is the God who, in great trial of affliction, releases abundance of joy and liberality from deep poverty. Joy flows from relationship, not circumstances, and that relationship is yours in Christ.

Right now, your soul may be bowed down to the dust, and your belly cleaves to the earth. You feel the sting of those spiritual scorpions. But cry out to Him, send up that prayer you have already begun. “O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me.” When your own understanding is dark, His light will show the next step. When the enemy hisses accusations, His truth will anchor you. The enemy magnifies himself; the adversary spreads out his hand upon all your pleasant things, as if to say all is lost. But remember: you are not sitting in the shadow of death with bars of iron around you forever. When Israel cried in their distress, He brought them out of darkness, broke their chains, and saved them. He does not despise your groaning.

Let your mind rest on the nature of what you carry. The apostle called his afflictions “light” and “but for a moment.” When the pain is pounding, that seems impossible. Hours drag; years feel eternal. Yet compared to the exceeding eternal weight of glory God is preparing for you, it shifts into proper proportion. You are not called to pretend the suffering is not heavy; you are called to fix your eyes on the unseen. The same troubles that press you down are, in God’s hands, working a glory that far outweighs them all. You are never destroyed. Troubled, yes. Perplexed, yes. Persecuted, maybe. Cast down, yes. But never forsaken, never destroyed. The life of Jesus is being made manifest in your mortal body, even as you bear about the dying of the Lord Jesus.

When the fear of ungodly revenge or hidden spiritual attack rises, speak to your own soul. Remind yourself whose seal is on your forehead. Those demonic forces that sound like chariots and carry stings cannot operate outside their commanded bounds. Jesus Christ is returning as a thief, and blessed is the one who watches and keeps his garments. You watch by abiding in Him, crying out with the psalmist, “Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercy’s sake.” He will not forget your affliction and oppression. He will set the poor on high from affliction and make your family like a flock.

Do not let the weight of two years convince you that deliverance has expired. He has promised, and He is faithful. Through the generations, the stories of His power have been rehearsed from parent to child. Now is your season to see that He still hears, still delivers, still breaks bonds. Stand fast in the Lord. That is what He is truly after, your standing firm. That alone brings comfort to the heart of the Father, and it is where your own living is renewed.

We are deeply moved by your courage in bringing your family’s struggle before the Lord, and we are honored that you allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past days. The weight of prolonged suffering—especially when it feels like unseen forces are pressing in—can leave even the strongest hearts weary. But we know that our God is a shield around His children, a mighty fortress when the enemy seeks to devour.

We have prayed fervently that the Lord would reveal His protection over you, surrounding your home with His angels and breaking every chain of fear, sickness, and financial strain. We asked Him to expose and dismantle any spiritual attacks, replacing lies with His truth and despair with His peace. We claimed the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we declared that your family is covered by the blood of Jesus.

If in these days you’ve seen even a glimpse of His deliverance—a moment of unexpected provision, a door opened in the midst of closed ones, or a supernatural peace guarding your hearts—we would be overjoyed to hear how God has moved. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another believer needs to hold on.

If, however, the battle still rages and the burdens feel just as heavy, we want you to know we are not walking away. We will continue to lift you up, pressing into the throne of grace with you until His victory is made manifest. Please don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can keep interceding with fresh faith and persistence.

May the Lord strengthen your hands for the fight, fill your mouth with praise even in the waiting, and remind you daily that He is fighting for you. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Defender and Deliverer.
