Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us, breaking us physically, mentally and financially. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf, shield and safeguard us.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already triumphed over all the powers of darkness. Your acknowledgment of Him as your fortress and healer is a powerful declaration, and we join our faith with yours as we lift your family before the throne of grace.

The trials you describe, deep pain, relentless hurdles, and severe medical challenges, are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He knows every hidden burden, every whisper of fear, and every scheme of the enemy designed to break you. But we declare with boldness that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may come in like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, sickness, lack, and revenge that has sought to oppress your family. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We break every curse, generational stronghold, and assignment of the enemy over your lives. The blood of Jesus has already secured your victory, and we stand on that truth today.

Father God, we ask You to surround this family with Your hedge of protection. Place Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Shield their minds from anxiety, their bodies from sickness, and their finances from destruction. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and restore what has been stolen or lost (Joel 2:25).

We pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Touch every area of their bodies that needs Your restoring power. Strengthen their faith to trust in You even when the path is dark. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them experience Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Search their hearts and show them if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that needs to be confessed and repented of, so that the enemy has no legal right to attack them (Ephesians 4:26-27). Lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

We declare that this season of suffering will not define them but refine them. Use every trial to draw them closer to You and to display Your glory through their lives. Let them emerge from this fire stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are standing with you in this long season of trial, and we do not take lightly the weight of what you have been carrying for two years. When medical burdens and continuous hurdles pile up with no clear end in sight, even the strongest faith can feel stretched thin, and the fear that unseen forces are at work can leave you scanning the horizon for the next blow. You are not weak for feeling this way, you are human, and you are tired.

One thing that helps in a prolonged illness is to recognize that the whole family absorbs the shock. When schedules are disrupted and everyone’s emotional reserves are drained, it is easy to slip into isolation or for old tensions to surface. Even a small, intentional habit can guard against that drift: perhaps once a week, the household can pause for a simple check-in where each person names one real need and one small gratitude, and then you pray those things aloud together. That kind of honest sharing pushes back the darkness by keeping you connected to one another and to the simple truth that God is still present in the daily grind.

We would also gently encourage you not to carry medical concerns without the help of a trusted doctor alongside prayer. The Great Physician often works through the hands of physicians who can bring relief, steady a treatment plan, or rule out what you fear. Seeking their care is not a lack of faith; it is part of how we steward the life God has given.

Lord Jesus, we lift this family to You now. You see the hidden burdens, the sleepless nights, and the dread of what tomorrow may bring. Surround them with Your shield that no darkness can pierce. Give their bodies strength where they are weak, and give the doctors wisdom where the path is unclear. Quiet their hearts with the steady assurance that nothing can pluck them from Your hand. Breathe courage into their weariness, and let them feel, even today, that they are not alone. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small thing to have discovered, in the midst of such sore trial, that your help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. The hidden burdens and the secret fears you mention are not hidden from Him who sees in secret, nor are the fiery darts of the wicked one any surprise to the Captain of our salvation. Two years of continuous hurdles and medical grief would shake the firmest frame, but the promise stands sure: the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of their temptations, and He will not suffer the enemy to rejoice over you. The low tree that the world despises, planted by the rivers of His grace, shall yet mount even to the stars, while the lofty cedars of ungodly power shall lie outstretched upon the plains of ruin. Your family’s present distress is not a sign of divine displeasure, but the very place where the great Healer loves to display His skill. I would have you mark well that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, not the fruit alone, but the leaves, the little things, the common mercies, the daily provisions of His grace, are full of healing virtue. The power of the Lord is ever present to heal when His word is being received; indeed, healing and forgiveness are so happily joined that the moment a sinner lays hold of Christ by faith, the pardon of sin and the medicine for the soul arrive in one glorious bundle.

Do not imagine that these spiritual forces arrayed against you have any authority of their own. He who took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up has already bruised the serpent’s head, and the least touch of His garment can make you whole. The costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its ancient efficacy, there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and the utmost length of human sickness, whether of body or of estate, can be reached by this great Physician. What you require is not a fresh baptism of terror, but a fresh sight of the Son of Righteousness, risen with healing in His wings. Come then to His word as a little child, hearing candidly and honestly, believingly and obediently. Bring out your hard thoughts, your fainting hopes, your unspoken dread of revenge and witchcraft, and lay them beneath the cross. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel, and no curse can stand against a soul that is sheltered there. The dry tree shall flourish, and the green tree that plots your ruin shall wither and die, for God is just and faithful.

Remember also that deliverance rarely comes in the way we prescribe. Joseph in the dungeon, Hannah in the bitterness of her soul, Hezekiah when the Assyrian blasphemed, all found that the Lord of hosts was working out a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory through their extremity. Your present season is not forgotten. The very trial you dread may be the chariot in which Jehovah rides to create a deeper trust and a richer experience of His faithfulness. The battle is indeed not against flesh and blood; therefore arm yourselves with the sweet doctrines of free grace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit. The enemy would break your spirits by pointing to the long years of pain, but the Comforter puts a new song in the mouth of the brokenhearted. It is the heart crushed on account of sin and driven to cling solely to the merits of Jesus that God peculiarly delights to heal. And healed you shall be, not with a half-pardon or a partial cure, but with that sudden, complete, divine wave of mercy that washes every sin away and makes the lame man leap as a hart.

I charge you, then, to stop measuring the Lord’s love by your present feelings or finances. Bring every care of the family, every illness, every fear of financial ruin, and spread them before the mercy seat. The power that dwelt in Christ to heal the sick of the palsy is applicable most eminently to the removal of the guilt and tyranny of sin, and where sin is pardoned, healing streams will follow. Let your household be a little sanctuary where evening sacrifice is offered in songs of trust. And as you do this, be watchful for the first tokens of returning health, perhaps a small mercy, a leaf-like kindness, or a word spoken in season, for the least thing about Christ is healing. May the Lord, the ultimate Healer and your fortress, put forth His hand and touch you all; may the Sun of Righteousness arise and scatter the shadows, and may you soon say from a full heart, “He has done all things well.” Amen.

You cry out to the Lord as healer and fortress, calling on the mighty name of Jesus Christ. This is good, for He alone is the physician of souls and bodies. But listen carefully to what the Spirit says through these trials of yours. These two years of deep pain and medical hurdles, these hidden burdens and fears of ungodly powers, are not signs that God has abandoned you. Far from it. He tempts His own, not to learn what He does not know, but to display their fortitude to the world and to themselves. As He tempted Abraham by His own command, so He now allows your testing, that your faith might be made manifest and approved. Do not suppose you are forsaken; rather, this is the very nature of the spiritual contest. One cannot be in combat and live luxuriously, one cannot be wrestling and feasting. The present state is warfare, tribulation, straits, and trials, the scene of conflicts. The season for rest is not now. If you think of ease, why did you strip for the fight?

You fear spiritual forces bringing harm, and rightly you remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the spiritual wickednesses. But for this savage phalanx you need more than a cry for a shield; you need a contrite and humbled heart, sober, self-possessed, and full of repentance. These are the gifts God bestows, and they are the true protection. Ask not for the devil's gifts of carnal ease, but for grace to stand. The body itself is not evil; it can be made an arm of righteousness when yielded to the Commander. Christ your Commander stands ready, ever unconquerable, and has furnished you with strong arms. War a good warfare, then, not the bad warfare of serving sin and fear. Let the fire of the Spirit burn away the thorns of worldly cares and terror that crowd your heart. Sow in good ground, and by hearing God's word spiritually, not carnally, looking only at what is before your eyes, you will find life.

Your medical challenges and financial strain tempt you to despair. But what does it profit if Christ heals your flesh, yet you understand carnally? His flesh is true food, and His blood true drink, but only for those who receive with the eyes within. Seek first the healing of your soul: that sober, awestruck mind which clings to Him in the furnace of affliction. Surround yourself not with flatterers or those who promise easy solace, but with the poor and free who can rebuke you and help you bear your domestic burdens. By ministering to them, send your treasure ahead into God's hand. He will keep it and restore it with abundant recompense. Why run to the earth's broken cisterns, where fightings and lawsuits multiply? Entrust all to the Lord, and let these trials make you a seasoned athlete. Through much tribulation we enter the kingdom, and the tested faith of a soldier on the field, more precious than gold, will redound to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Stand firm, then, fully armed, and do not seek to lay down your weapons before the victory is won.

Your family’s suffering these past two years has not gone unnoticed by the Lord. When the medical challenges keep mounting and every area of life feels under assault, physically, mentally, and financially, the fear that unseen forces are at work can become overwhelming. And that fear is not unfounded. Scripture really does tell us that our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers. But notice that Jesus never cowered before those powers. He commanded them, and they obeyed. The same authority he demonstrated when healing the sick and casting out demons is the authority he still holds. No spiritual force of darkness can overrule his shield over your lives.

Healing is real, and I believe in it deeply. Yet healing is not always one single dramatic moment. Sometimes it comes gradually, even through the natural processes God designed within the body. Sometimes the healing is emotional, mending hidden scars and fear. And sometimes, like the apostle Paul with his thorn, we plead for relief and the answer is not immediate removal but sustaining grace. That does not mean God is absent or that he wills harm; it means his purposes are being worked out across the whole of your lives, and his strength is perfected in weakness. Take heart that even when the road is long, no suffering falls outside his redemptive intent.

Remember too that you are not isolated in this battle. The family of God is meant to bear one another’s burdens, just as the early church shared resources when fellow believers faced financial ruin. Do not hesitate to let trusted brothers and sisters in Christ walk with you practically, whether that means help with medical bills, meals, or simply sitting with you in the pain. That tangible love is part of how God shields and safeguards his children.

Above all, hold fast to the truth that you belong to the One who conquered every demonic force at the cross. Because you are sealed by his Spirit, the enemy cannot touch the core of who you are in Christ. Jesus spent his earthly ministry restoring what sin had broken, healing diseases, freeing the oppressed, and revealing that the deepest family bonds are formed in doing the will of the Father. Whatever earthly trials persist, your lives are held in that secure family, and nothing can snatch you from his hand.

I pray now for a fresh sense of his protection over your household. May he guide you in wisdom through every decision. May his love prevail in every situation, and may he give you the grace to respond to adversity with kindness and steadfast trust. He is your fortress, and he will not fail you.
