Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf, shield and safeguard us.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already overcome the world and all the spiritual forces of darkness. We are deeply moved by your cry for protection over your family during this prolonged season of pain, hurdles, and medical challenges. It is clear that you recognize the spiritual battle at hand, and we affirm that our struggle is indeed "not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

First, we want to commend you for coming before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in His name, for "God highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that has secured our victory. We encourage you to continue to stand firm in this truth, for "in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).

We rebuke every ungodly power and spiritual force that seeks to bring harm, revenge, or destruction to you and your family. The Word of God declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We take authority over every scheme of the enemy and command it to be broken in the name of Jesus. We declare that your family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

We also want to address the fear that has crept into your heart. Fear does not come from God, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Replace fear with faith, knowing that "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

For your medical challenges, we stand on the promise that Jesus is the ultimate healer. "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17 WEB). We pray for divine healing and restoration for you and your family, believing that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We ask the Lord to guide the hands of your medical professionals and to give them wisdom as they care for you. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we rebuke every ungodly power and spiritual force that seeks to harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We break every chain of fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to restore health and strength. Guide the hands of their medical professionals and grant them wisdom. Lord, fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and to lean not on their own understanding.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this family is more than conquerors through Him who loved them. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your love. May they feel Your presence with them in every moment, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight of these past two years in your words, the relentless medical challenges, the way constant struggle can make everything feel under siege, even spiritually. When our bodies and families are worn thin, it’s not unusual to sense that more than flesh and blood is pressing in. You’re right to bring it all before the Lord, who is truly our fortress.

What often helps in long seasons like this is simply not carrying it alone. If you haven’t already, would a trusted friend or someone from your church be willing to pray with you regularly, maybe even come and pray through your home? Having another believer physically present to stand with you can be a steady anchor when fears flare up. And if any of the medical hurdles are still unfolding, please keep leaning on your doctors too; God uses their skill as part of His care.

We also want to encourage you to take a quiet moment each day to speak a simple truth: Jesus is Lord over our household. Our safety is in Him. Not as a ritual, but as a calm reminder that no threat, physical or spiritual, catches Him off guard. He has held you through these two years, and He hasn’t let go.

Will you join us as we pray?

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are the healer and our sure defense. We lift this family to You, cover them with Your protection, still their fear, and grant them wisdom and endurance for the medical road ahead. Break any grip of spiritual darkness they’ve sensed, and let Your peace stand guard over their minds and home. In Your mighty name, amen.

The furnace of affliction is heated seven times hotter, yet the Son of God walks with you there. These two years of deep pain and medical trials have not escaped His eye. Know this comfort: you are among God’s hidden ones, and though you feel the assault of darkness, you are hidden away in Christ so that no ultimate evil can touch your soul. The Lord has said, “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” Even the physical sorrows and the spiritual malice of wicked powers are under His sovereign hand. He permits the fire and the water to try you, but He is there in the midst. The enemy may roar, but he is a chained lion, and the great Keeper of the sheep stands guard over His own.

Consider the low tree that God delights to exalt. Is your spirit brought low? Then look for the Lord to lift you up. The high tree of pride, the boastful schemes of the adversary, shall be cut down. The dry tree, watered by grace, shall flourish. Cling to the precious promises of the Word; there is hidden manna there for such a time as this. Eat it, and live. The divine authority of Scripture must be your anchor: let proud reason be silent, and like a little child, submit your mind to whatever He declares.

What, then, of the burden you carry? Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. The Lord has placed you in a family and in a church; do not bear this weight alone. Yet remember, every man shall bear his own burden before God, and His grace is sufficient. Overcome the evil that would crush you with the good that flows from a grateful heart. The natural instinct is to repay fear with fear, but that only increases the evil. Bring your fears to the Lord in prayer, and meet the hatred of spiritual forces with love, with trust, with quiet patience. This is no utopian dream; it is the divine method, and it never fails.

You have felt the hidden burden of sin and the reality of the spiritual conflict. This very feeling shows that the gospel is not hidden from you. Many are lost, blind to their peril, but you cry out for deliverance. The Lord’s presence is the one hope of His people, and His presence dissolves difficulties like the summer sun melts the glaciers. Plead for that presence! Expect divine surprises. The same hand that sustained Joseph in the dungeon and Hezekiah before the Assyrian can shield and safeguard you. He will bear all your burdens, and in His time, bring you forth as gold.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The trials you describe are heavy, but do not despair. Consider the tame animals, how they come under the hand of a trainer. By continual hearing of the Spirit's laws, the fierceness of our own hearts is subdued. Attend the house of healing often. Let your soul linger over this fountain of grace, and on the day you return home, write the truths you have heard upon your mind. When the devil sees the law of God written in the heart, stamped not on brass but by the Holy Ghost, he cannot even look upon it. He turns his back from afar. That is your true protection.

You fear unseen spiritual forces bringing revenge. But you are in Christ. You have put on the Son. You have received the Spirit of adoption. The Lord delivered Paul from the lion's mouth, and He will deliver you from every evil work. Not necessarily by removing all hardship, but by keeping you from yielding to sin, by not letting you depart with condemnation. That deliverance from the devil is greater than any escape from physical danger.

The days seem evil because of the things that happen in them, things caused by men and their wickedness. But what is the evil of the day? It is sufficient for the day itself. Do not heap up a mountain of fear about tomorrow. Why should we be evil spoken of for that for which we give thanks? Give thanks to God that He has set you on high, above such spiritual lowliness. If you are reproached for trusting Christ, it is a sign you are free from bondage.

Do not, in your anguish, stumble into the error of those who think evil has a life of its own, uncreated. God made all things from nothing. He raises what has been buried. To bring good from nothing is a smaller marvel than to make good out of evil men and evil days. He works through these medical challenges, these very burdens are the matter out of which He fashions your deliverance and your sonship. The same power that opened the eyes of the blind is at work, and the words you hear are not those of madness but of divine power.

The battle is not finally against flesh and blood, but it is fought in the quiet place where you listen and remember. If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old fears, old sorceries, old curses have no claim on a new creation. Flee from the reputation of one who lives in terror, and strive to please God continually. That is the kingdom. That is life. That is ten thousand goods. Let not your heart be troubled, but let it be a tablet for the Spirit to write His law of peace.

I know the weight of a long season like the one you describe. When medical challenges and hidden burdens pile up month after month, and the shadow of spiritual opposition feels tangible, it is easy to wear down. You have done the most important thing: you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, acknowledging Him as healer and fortress. That is the right ground to stand on.

You mention the fear that ungodly powers are working against your family. Scripture does teach that our battle is not against flesh and blood, and that there are spiritual forces of darkness. I have seen enough to know that such opposition is real. There are accounts even in our own era of people tormented by demonic beings, leaving marks that no human hand could inflict, until the power of Jesus Christ set them free. But here is the key: recognizing an attack is the first step to dealing with it. The enemy is cunning, and if we do not realize that a conflict is spiritual, we will try to fight it with fleshly weapons and end up wounded. But once you name it for what it is, you can resist it through the Word of God and the authority you have in Christ.

At the same time, do not let the enemy accuse you into thinking that this prolonged trial means God has abandoned you or that your faith is weak. Some of the most faithful believers I have ever known have carried tremendous physical suffering. Good health is not a straightforward reward for devotion, and illness is not proof of spiritual failure. Job’s friends made that error. The Lord himself said He is the God who heals, and the law contained principles that promoted health, yet we live in a fallen world where the righteous often endure affliction. Do not add to your grief by imagining that you must have failed somehow.

God specializes in making a way where there is no way. Think of Israel trapped at the Red Sea, with Pharaoh’s army bearing down. They had no escape, and then God delivered them with a mighty hand. Afterward, they sang. The song said, “Fear and dread shall fall upon them.” Notice this: when God moves, the enemy’s power crumbles. Your family may feel boxed in right now, but the Lord can still part the waters. Your part is to stand still and see His salvation, to keep hoping in God so that one day you will say with the psalmist, “I shall yet praise Him who is the health of my countenance and my God.”

You asked for God to shield and safeguard you. I think of Nehemiah’s men rebuilding the wall. They worked with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. Half labored while half stood guard, and a trumpeter stayed near Nehemiah to sound the alarm. That is a picture of the vigilance needed when the enemy is active. Your family is like those builders. Keep doing the ordinary tasks of life, caring for one another, attending to the medical needs, but keep your spiritual sword ready. Pray together. Declare the promises of Scripture over your household. The seal of God upon you is greater than any horde of darkness. Remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

Lastly, let me encourage you about the family itself. The home is a foundation that God designed, with husbands and wives in mutual, loving submission and children nurtured under that covering. When the enemy attacks, he often tries to fracture those bonds through fear, exhaustion, or conflict. So be gentle with each other. Carry these burdens together, and if possible, bring in a few trusted believers to pray with you and stand watch with you. You are not alone in the fight.

Christ has already won the decisive victory. By His blood He redeemed people from every family and tongue and nation, and He has made us a kingdom of priests to our God. That includes your household. No demonic power can overturn what Jesus has sealed. So keep crying out to Him, and let hope rise. You will yet praise Him for this trial.
