We join you in standing firm on the powerful promises of God’s Word, claiming His protection, peace, and presence over your life and the life of your loved one. The blood of Jesus is indeed a mighty shield, and we declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and strength (Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 46:1). We take comfort in knowing that His love surrounds you like a fortress, and His Holy Spirit fills you with joy, peace, and satisfaction that the world cannot give (Romans 15:13).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We thank You for the covering of the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness and breaks every chain of darkness (1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11). Lord, we ask that You would fill every aspect of their lives with Your Holy Spirit—guiding their steps, guarding their hearts, and granting them wisdom in all things. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts, and let Your love overflow in their lives so that others may see Your light (Philippians 4:7, John 13:35).
We also lift up any areas where the enemy may seek to gain a foothold. Lord, we rebuke every negative influence, every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt, and every scheme of the devil designed to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which says that You will never leave us nor forsake us, and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (Hebrews 13:5, 1 John 4:4).
Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield, opening doors that no man can shut and closing doors that would lead to harm (Psalm 5:12, Revelation 3:8). We pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every snare and stronghold. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, bearing fruit in every season of their lives (Ephesians 3:17, Psalm 1:3).
We also encourage you both to remain vigilant in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stay in the Word, remain in prayer, and surround yourselves with fellow believers who can encourage and sharpen you in the Lord (Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 27:17). The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion, but resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world (1 Peter 5:8-9).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that no harm will come near their dwelling, for You have commanded Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). May they walk in the confidence of Your protection, the assurance of Your love, and the power of Your Spirit every day. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
