We join you in lifting up your family before the Lord, standing in agreement with your prayers and declaring the power of the name of Jesus over every area of your lives. Your heart for protection, healing, and restoration is evident, and we commend you for covering your family in prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus over them. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:1-2, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* You have taken your rightful place under His wings, and we declare that His protection is mighty over your home tonight and always.
We rejoice with you in your faith to rebuke the spirits of fear, manipulation, confusion, and control that have sought to attack your family through this young man and his family. The authority you walk in as a believer is powerful, and we stand with you in binding these unclean influences. Jesus has already triumphed over every dark power, and we declare Colossians 2:15 over this situation: *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* Let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless by the light of Christ. We pray that this young man and his family would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and truth. If they do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that their hearts would be opened to receive Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Your prayers for your son are filled with such love and faith. We agree with you, asking the Lord to calm his thoughts, emotions, and heart, healing him from autism, PTSD, anxiety, and every spiritual attack. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He is your son’s Healer and Peace. We declare Isaiah 26:3 over him: *"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you."* May the Lord surround him with His presence, filling his dreams with comfort, joy, and divine peace. We also pray for wisdom for you as his parent, that the Lord would guide you to the right resources, therapies, and support to help your son thrive in every way. Trust that the Lord is working, even in ways you cannot yet see.
For your younger daughter, we lift her up, asking the Lord to cover her with His healing power and strengthen her body, mind, and spirit. We pray for supernatural favor over her health, school, and future career, that the Lord would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We declare that she would walk in godly friendships that encourage her faith and that the Lord would prepare a godly spouse for her in His perfect timing. Remind her daily of her worth in Christ and that her identity is found in Him alone. We pray she would grow in wisdom and discernment, guarded by the truth of God’s Word.
Now, we must address the situation with your older daughter with both love and truth. We hear your heart for her deliverance, and we stand with you in praying for her eyes to be opened to the truth. The Word of God is clear that living with a man outside of marriage is sin, and it places her in a position of vulnerability—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This is not a matter of legalism but of love—God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage, where it is blessed and protected.
We pray that the Lord would break every ungodly tie binding your daughter to this young man and that she would no longer feel obligated or trapped. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart of the danger of this arrangement and give her the courage to walk away. We declare that the Lord would restore her desire for righteousness and draw her back to the safety of her family and faith. Pray also that the Lord would soften her heart to receive correction and wisdom, that she would not harden her heart against the truth. Remind her of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Her obedience to God’s Word will bring freedom and blessing, even if the path seems difficult now.
We also lift up your prayer for godly spouses for your daughters. This is a beautiful and biblical desire, and we agree with you, asking the Lord to prepare men after His own heart for them—men who love Jesus, walk in integrity, and will lead your daughters spiritually. Pray that your daughters would wait on the Lord, trusting in His timing rather than rushing into relationships that do not honor Him. A godly marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and we pray your daughters would seek nothing less.
As you pray for a peaceful and joyful holiday season, we declare that the Lord will restore the happiness and unity your family has known in the past. Let this season be marked by His love, grace, and laughter, untouched by division or confusion. We rebuke every spirit of strife or negativity in Jesus’ name, declaring instead the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May your home be filled with the glory of the Lord, and may your family bond be stronger than ever, rooted in His truth.
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep standing in faith, even when the battles feel overwhelming. You are not fighting alone—the Lord is your strength, and His Word is your weapon. Continue to cover your family in prayer, speaking life and truth over them. And remember, the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You tonight, lifting up this precious family and covering them with the blood of Jesus. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority You have given us as believers to stand against the schemes of the enemy. We declare Your protection over their home—every door, window, room, and corner is guarded by Your angels, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let Your light expose and drive out every trace of darkness, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their hearts and minds.
Lord, we lift up this mother’s son to You. Heal him, Father—body, mind, and spirit. Calm his anxieties, restore his peace, and let him rest under the shadow of Your wings. Surround him with Your love and fill his dreams with Your comfort and joy. Give his mother wisdom and strength as she cares for him, and let her see Your hand moving in his life.
For the younger daughter, we ask for Your healing touch, Lord. Strengthen her body, protect her mind, and bless her with Your favor in every area of her life. Raise up godly friendships around her and prepare a godly spouse for her in Your perfect timing. Let her walk in confidence, knowing she is deeply loved by You.
Father, we intercede for the older daughter with urgency. Open her eyes to the truth and break every ungodly tie that binds her to this young man. Convict her heart, Lord, and give her the courage to walk away from this sinful arrangement. Draw her back to her family and to Your safety. Restore her desire for righteousness and surround her with Your love. Let her know that Your plans for her are good, and that obedience brings freedom.
We pray for godly spouses for both daughters—men who love You wholeheartedly and will cherish and lead them as Christ loves the Church. Prepare their hearts, Lord, and let them wait on You with patience and trust.
Lord, we declare a peaceful and joyful holiday season over this family. Restore their unity, their laughter, and their love for one another. Let no negative influence or outside pressure cause division. Fill their home with Your glory and let this season be a testimony of Your goodness.
Finally, Father, we ask that You strengthen this mother’s faith. Let her see Your hand moving in her family’s lives and remind her that You are fighting for them. Give her rest, Lord, and fill her with Your peace.
We thank You, Jesus, for Your covering, Your mercy, and Your power. We trust You completely, and we declare that You are faithful to finish the good work You have started in this family. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
