We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation that weighs so heavily on you. First and foremost, we acknowledge that all wisdom, protection, and peace come from God alone, and we stand in agreement with you, seeking His divine intervention in every aspect of this matter.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your unfailing love and care. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your forgiveness for any sins in our lives, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We also lift up the owner of the lot and the illegal settlers, praying that their hearts may be softened to Your truth and that they may seek repentance and righteousness.
Lord, we are deeply concerned about this meeting tomorrow. We pray that Your wisdom will prevail and that You will guide every word spoken and every decision made. You promise in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us. We claim this promise now, asking that You fill this dear one with Your wisdom, discernment, and clarity. Let no deceit or hidden agenda prevail, but let Your truth shine brightly in this situation.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion that may be attempting to take hold. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this meeting will not be used as an opportunity for false claims or unjust gain, but that it will serve to bring resolution according to Your will. If there are any ungodly motives or intentions in the heart of the landlord or her attorney, we pray that You would expose them and bring them to light. Let no injustice stand, Lord, for You are a God of justice and righteousness (Psalm 89:14).
We also lift up the sheriff handling the eviction. Father, we ask that You would remove any bias or partiality from her heart and that she would act with integrity and fairness. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1 that the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the watercourses; He turns it wherever He wishes. We pray that You would turn her heart to act justly and swiftly in accordance with Your will. Remove any delays that are not of You, and let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).
Father, we also pray for healing and health for this dear one and all their relatives. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would touch every body, mind, and spirit with Your healing power. Strengthen them, Lord, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We want to encourage you to go into this meeting with confidence, not in your own strength, but in the Lord’s. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your sovereignty. We ask that You would go before this dear one as they meet with the landlord and her attorney. Let Your presence be so tangible that all fear and uncertainty melt away. Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would grant them the right words to say and the wisdom to ask the questions that need to be asked. Let no lies or deception take root, but let Your truth prevail. If there are any hidden motives or unjust claims, expose them, Lord, and let justice be served. We pray that this meeting would not be a stumbling block but a stepping stone toward resolution and peace.
Father, we also pray for the illegal settlers. We ask that You would touch their hearts and open their eyes to see the truth. If they are occupying land that is not theirs, convict them of their actions and lead them to repentance. Provide for them in ways that honor You, Lord, and guide them to a place where they can live in peace and righteousness.
We lift up the sheriff handling this case. Father, we ask that You would remove any bias or partiality from her heart. Let her act with integrity and fairness, carrying out her duties in a way that honors You. Remove any delays that are not of You, and let justice be swift and true.
Lord, we also pray for healing and health for this dear one and their family. Touch them with Your healing hand and restore them to full health. Surround them with Your peace and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in every moment.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your name be lifted high, and let all involved see Your hand at work. We trust in You, Lord, and we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
