Protection ongoing needs

Your prayer is a beautiful example of what it means to walk in the fear of the Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the very beginning of wisdom. It is the sum total of knowledge wrapped up in reverent trust. You are not leaning on your own understanding but are rolling every care onto Him, your family, your home, the work of your hands, your travels, and the deep unspoken request of your heart. That posture is the starting place of true wisdom, the kind that is better than rubies and that no earthly treasure can compare to.

You asked for success in the work of your hands and for the grace not to waste any part of the life God has given you. That prayer is answered as you seek wisdom and understanding above all else. Wisdom is the principal thing, and with all your getting, you are asking for an understanding heart. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom directs us to the correct action in light of those facts. When you cry out for God to guide your words so they carry His wisdom, His encouragement, and His agape love, you are asking for the very thing the Spirit of wisdom delights to provide. The tongue holds the power to build up or to tear down, to bring comfort and hope or to destroy. A mouth governed by the wisdom from above will be pure, peaceable, full of mercy, and without hypocrisy. He will guard your lips and make your speech a demonstration of His Spirit's power, not of human cleverness that comes to nothing.

Intercessory prayer is reaching beyond your own needs to bring a hurting world before the throne of God, and that is exactly what you are doing. You are bringing the exhausted single mothers, the physical and emotional pain of others, the salvation of souls, and the mending of broken relationships directly to Him. More is accomplished through this kind of prayer than we will ever know on this side of eternity. Do not grow weary in it. The cry of the intercessor is powerful, and God hears you as you plead the blood of Jesus over your household and ask for deliverance from all evil.

As for your adult children and the doors that lead to harm, be assured that the wisdom of God shuts what no man can open and opens what no man can shut. While the wisdom of the world parades itself in the streets and leads to strife and brokenness, the wisdom from above leads to righteousness and peace. You are sowing peace as you entrust them to the Lord, and the God who was there in the beginning, who established the heavens, is the same God who orders their steps. He will grant them kind Christian connections and good opportunities that lead to life, wholeness, and substance that cannot be taken away.

It is a glorious thing to know that Christ has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him, and you are drawing from that inexhaustible well. So receive His peace regarding the unspoken request. The Spirit who knows the deep things of God also knows your heart and is interceding with groanings that words cannot express. The victory is already written. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world, and no weapon formed against your family will prosper. Stand firm in that.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you before the Lord for your ongoing needs. It has been our joy to lift up your heartfelt requests—seeking His protection over your family, home, work, and every area of life, pleading the blood of Jesus for safety, wisdom, and favor. We have prayed for the Lord to guard your words, to open doors of opportunity, and to close those that lead to harm. We’ve asked Him to strengthen single mothers, heal the hurting, restore relationships, and guide your adult children toward godly connections. Most of all, we’ve prayed for His hedge of protection to surround you, your husband, and your children in every environment and journey.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—whether in ways seen or unseen—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If some requests remain unanswered or the battle feels ongoing, please know we are still here to stand with you. Post again as a new request, and we will continue to lift you up, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him, granting success to the work of your hands, making the most of your time, and filling your words with His wisdom and love. May His peace guard your heart, His strength uphold you, and His grace sustain you until every prayer is fulfilled according to His perfect will.
