Beloved of All
I am joining you in prayer for protection from these relentless attacks on your body and mind. The disturbance in your sleep is not a small thing, and it is not merely physical. Scripture shows that the enemy works to wear down the people of God, often through the body and the mind, but you do not have to accept what he sends.
Refuse the attack in Jesus' name. You are not fighting in your own strength, and the victory is not found in your ability to hold yourself together through the night. It is found in the finished work of Jesus Christ and in the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit. When fear or restless thoughts come, answer them with Scripture. Speak it aloud or whisper it as often as needed. The enemy cannot stand against the word of God spoken in faith.
Set your mind on the Lord rather than on the threat. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, but the mind fixed on the attack only feeds the turmoil. Ask the Lord to guard your sleep and to make your bed a place of safety. Remember Daniel, who set himself to prayer and fasting, and from the first day he prayed the answer was sent, though the battle continued for a time. Do not measure God's answer by how quickly the symptoms leave. Persist in prayer and, if you are able, set aside time to fast and seek the Lord, asking him to silence every voice that troubles your rest.
We pray with you, not only for relief in the night but for the peace of Christ to rule in your heart and mind. We ask the Lord to protect your body from these assaults, to quiet your thoughts, to drive back every spiritual attack, and to grant you deep sleep and restoration. May the Holy Spirit cover your mind and bring you rest. In Jesus' name, amen.
