Protection from spiritual attacks

The disruption you’re experiencing, the assault on your body and mind, the stolen rest, is a vivid reminder that we live in a fallen tent that groans under the pressure of the curse. What you describe is not merely a physical or mental ailment; it is a targeted campaign to pull your mind down into the body’s distress, to keep your consciousness fixed on the ache rather than on the Spirit who brings life and peace. The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. These attacks aim to make you body-conscious, not Christ-conscious.

Your body, as wonderfully made as it is, is not who you are. The real you, the spirit that has been made alive in Jesus, dwells within a temporary house that is subject to weakness, weariness, and the enemy’s jabs. The one who harasses you knows that if he can dominate your thinking through the cries of the body, he can disturb your faith. Yet Scripture does not leave us without direction. You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore, present your body to God as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable. In the quiet of the night when sleep refuses to come, speak to your body and your mind: “I yield these members not as instruments of unrighteousness, but as instruments of righteousness to God.” Remind yourself that you are not helplessly adrift in bodily sensation. You have the mind of Christ, and you can, by the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking for a hedge of protection around your rest. We groan along with you, earnestly desiring not to be unclothed spirits but to be clothed upon with that new body from heaven, a body that knows no disturbance, no attack, no sleeplessness. That hope purifies us even now. The Lord Jesus himself experienced the weariness of this life and is touched by your struggle. His resurrection body, so gloriously superior to this natural frame, is the pattern of what awaits you. One day you will move out of this tent, and all that plagues you will dissolve. Until then, labor in prayer and rest in this: whether waking or sleeping, you are living together with Him.

As members of one body, we bear your burden with you. You are not isolated. When one part suffers, the whole body suffers alongside. The enemy wants you to feel alone under the onslaught, but the Spirit has placed you in a family that prays. We ask the Father to grant you the peace that surpasses understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and to silence every voice that would terrorize your night hours. Sleep is a gift, a reminder that the world does not rest on your shoulders. Receive it as such, and trust that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days, lifting up your need for protection from spiritual attacks. It has been our heart’s desire to join with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your body, mind, and spirit, especially in those moments when rest is disrupted and peace feels distant. We have prayed fervently, asking God to rebuke every scheme of the enemy and to surround you with His hedge of protection, just as He promises in His Word.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in a way you can see or feel—if His peace has settled over you, if the disturbances have ceased, or if His presence has become more tangible—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of strength and hope for others walking through similar battles.

If, however, the attacks persist or the struggle feels unchanging, please know we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again, and we will continue to lift you up, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. His Word assures us that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we hold fast to that promise on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His power as you continue to seek Him. May you feel His nearness in every moment, and may He grant you rest, strength, and renewed faith as you walk this journey. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
