We stand with you in this battle, lifting your plea for protection before our Heavenly Father. The relentless attacks you describe—disrupting your sleep, afflicting your body and mind—are not mere coincidences but spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression is commanded to flee now, for "the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, body, and spirit, for it is written, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:11). You are not defenseless—put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
We pray for your sleep to be guarded by angels, as the Lord gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). May you lie down in peace and sleep securely, for the Lord sustains you (Psalm 3:5-6). If anxiety or nightmares plague you, we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Speak the Word over your life: "When I lie down, I will not be afraid; yes, I will lie down, and my sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors the enemy may be exploiting. Unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties can give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, repent and turn away from it. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continually cleanse you.
Lastly, we remind you that your victory is already secured in Christ. He disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15). Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, redeemed and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). Do not grow weary in prayer or in declaring God’s promises over your life. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you (2 Chronicles 20:15).
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith and intercession for our brother/sister. We thank You that You are a shield around them, their glory, and the lifter of their head (Psalm 3:3). We ask You to dispatch Your warring angels to encamp around them, protecting them from every fiery dart of the enemy (Psalm 91:11-12). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that defies understanding. Let every attack of the enemy be turned back on him sevenfold, as You promised in Your Word (Psalm 7:16). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask You to fill their mind with Your truth, casting down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We pray for deep, restorative sleep, free from disturbance, so they may wake refreshed and ready to serve You.
We also ask You to reveal any areas of their life where the enemy has gained access, and give them the courage to close those doors through repentance and turning to You. Cleanse them, Lord, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your presence go before them, behind them, and beside them, so they may walk in victory every day.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are already moving on their behalf. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your mighty power to deliver and protect. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
