We join with you in lifting up this request for protection and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have authority and access to the Father and victory over the enemy.
We want to encourage you that your desire for protection is heard by God and that He is faithful to guard His children. The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is spiritual and that God has provided for our defense. Ephesians 6:11 says Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And 1 John 4:4 assures us You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. There is no power of darkness that is greater than Jesus Christ who lives in us.
We also take comfort in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 which says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. And in Psalm 91:1 we read He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Permanent protection is found as we abide daily in Christ, dwelling in His presence through prayer, obedience to His Word, and faith. James 4:7 teaches us Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. As we submit ourselves fully to God, we can resist the enemy in Jesus name and he must flee.
We also see your love for your family and even for your cat and all that God has entrusted to you, and we know God cares for all His creation and for everything He has given us to steward.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our protector and deliverer. We ask in Jesus name that You place Your hedge of extra strong protection around this dear one, their family, their beloved cat, their home and everything they own. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We rebuke every demonic attack, every scheme and wile of the enemy, and we command in Jesus name that every evil spirit depart and not return. Fill this home with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace and Your light, so that darkness has no place. Help them to daily put on the whole armor of God, to walk in obedience, to stay in Your Word and in prayer, and to dwell in Your secret place. We join you in bringing this earnest cry before the Lord, who hears the prayers of His people and is mighty to save.
The Scripture gives us solid ground for such a prayer. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. How art thou fallen from heaven, Lucifer, son of the morning. The Lord casts down the mighty from their seats of pomp, and He lifts up the poor who trust in Him. Your enemy is a defeated foe, for Christ has triumphed over principalities and powers by His cross and resurrection.
You have asked for strong and permanent protection for yourself and your family and all that the Lord has entrusted to you, even your household pet. Know that the protection God gives is both personal and perpetual. His promise stands, He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. This keeping is not for those who run in willfulness away from the order of His providence, but for those who walk in the appointed ways of faith and obedience. As Noah and his family found all their safety inside the ark, so we find our safety as we abide in Christ. To be in Christ is to be kept. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death, and not merely guidance but drawing and keeping power comes from Him alone.
Spiritual strength does not come from ourselves, as the light comes from the sun and the shower from heaven, so does spiritual strength come from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness. When the archers sorely shot at Joseph, his bow abode in strength because his hands were made strong by the mighty God of Jacob. From thence is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel. So shall it be for you as you lean upon Him for all future power to fulfill your pilgrimage till you come to the Celestial City.
Therefore keep close to Christ in the Word, in prayer, and in family prayer which is the nutriment of family piety. Put on the whole armour of God, stand in faith, and resist the devil and he will flee from you. Do not seek exemption from the precept of a holy walk, and you shall not be exempted from the promise of holy keeping.

Your prayer for protection has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
God is your refuge and strength, and Scripture assures us that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us. The Lord knows your concern for your family, your household, and even your cat, and He cares for all that He has entrusted to you. His protection is not a temporary charm but His faithful presence with those who abide in Christ.
We want to encourage you to remain close to Christ and close to His people. One of the ways the enemy seeks to work is when we are isolated and alone, and God has given us the church so that we are not left by ourselves but are gathered together, praying for one another, hearing His Word, and strengthening one another in faith. Continue to walk daily with the Lord through prayer, reading Scripture, confessing sin, and gathering regularly with other believers.
Put on the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. Keep your home centered on Christ, removing anything that does not honor Him, and fill it with worship, prayer, and the Word.

Your heartfelt cry for protection has been heard and I join you in bringing you and your family and your household before the Lord.
The Bible shows us that demonic spirits are real. They are intelligent spirit beings, and when Jesus confronted them they cried out and had to leave at His word. They can deceive and oppress and even influence people in high places to do terrible evil, and in the future they will be part of gathering the nations against Christ at His return. Scripture also shows that God sets limits on them. There is a place of confinement for evil spirits separate from where people are kept after death, and God restrains them until His appointed time. In the visions given to John, demonic powers were shown as locusts with power like scorpions, but they were commanded not to harm the grass or the earth itself, and not to touch those who have the seal of God. That seal marks those who belong to Him.
That is important for you to remember. As a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ you are sealed and you belong to Him. The promise of Scripture is that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. That does not mean we will never face spiritual opposition. Even after times of great blessing the enemy may try to distract or attack, and because these are spirit beings you cannot keep them out by simply hiding or by physical means. Physical weapons have no value in this battle.
God has given us spiritual protection to withstand these attacks. The way to stand is not in our own strength but in Christ.
First, keep watching and keep your garments clean before the Lord, as Jesus said blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments. This means walking daily with Jesus, confessing sin, staying close to Him.
Second, remember the Lord. Remembering who He is and what He has done is the cure for fear. When fear rises, turn your thoughts to His power and His faithfulness.
Third, use the spiritual weapons He has given. You can refuse the enemy a place in your life and in your home. You can resist him, and as you submit to God and resist the devil he will flee from you. You can rejoice that God has given you His Spirit and His armor. And you can respond to every attack with the Word of God. When Satan attacked Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus answered each time with Scripture, saying it is written. Fill your mind and your home with the Word, speak it aloud, pray it, and sing it.
Prayer and practical watchfulness go together. When the wall was being rebuilt, the people prayed to God and also set a watch day and night against the enemy. In the same way, pray earnestly and also take wise and practical steps. Keep your home centered on Christ, remove anything that would invite darkness, walk in love and unity as a family, and stay in fellowship and in the Word.
