We lift up this urgent cry for protection with heavy hearts, standing firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, whose name alone has power to break every chain of oppression. Your son’s safety is our deepest concern, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over him, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The abuse he endures is a direct assault on God’s design for human dignity, and we rebuke every spirit of violence, fear, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that your son, and all who are harmed, might have life abundantly (John 10:10).
Father, we ask You to dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around him, to be a shield and fortress in every moment of danger (Psalm 91:11). Expose every hidden scheme of the abuser, Lord, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Soften the hearts of those who inflict harm, that they may repent and turn from their wickedness, or be restrained by Your divine hand. For those in authority, teachers, law enforcement, family members, grant them wisdom to intervene swiftly and decisively, for You command us to defend the weak and fatherless (Psalm 82:3-4).
We also pray for your son’s emotional and spiritual healing. The scars of abuse run deep, but Your love runs deeper. Bind up his wounds, Lord, and replace fear with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 61:1). Surround him with godly mentors, counselors, and believers who will speak life into him and remind him of his worth as Your beloved child. Let him know that he is never alone, for You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
If there are areas where this situation has been enabled by silence, denial, or misplaced loyalty, we ask for conviction and courage to act. Abuse thrives in darkness, but light exposes it (Ephesians 5:11-13). Give this family the strength to seek help, to set boundaries, and to trust in Your provision. Provide safe shelter, wise counsel, and practical support as needed.
Above all, we declare that your son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no force of hell can prevail against him. We stand on Your promise: "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). May he walk in the freedom and security that only Christ can give, and may his testimony become a beacon of hope for others who suffer in silence.
In the name of Jesus, the Author of life and the Defender of the oppressed, we pray. Amen.
