We lift up this dear brother in Christ, praying earnestly for the peace and restoration that only the Lord can provide. Father God, we ask that You saturate his life with Your perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your calming presence fill every area of his life, bringing obedience to Your will and gentleness in his spirit, reflecting the fruit of Your Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we pray over his physical well-being, asking that You bless the food he eats, making it nourishing and wholesome for his body. Soothe and heal his stomach, removing all discomfort and pain, for You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). Grant him confidence and wisdom in expressing his food choices, that he may eat with contentment, satisfaction, and gratitude, always giving thanks for Your provision (1 Timothy 4:4-5).
Jesus, we ask that You guide him in stewardship, that he may honor You by not wasting the food You provide. Help him to manage his meals with care and order, reflecting Your goodness in all he does. We also bring before You the deep wounds of PTSD, asking for Your healing touch. Lord, we rebuke every traumatic memory and habit that has taken root in his life. In the powerful name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to leave permanently, for You came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We declare that he is a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Fill him with Your truth, replacing lies with Your promises, and restore his mind to wholeness through the renewing power of Your Word (Romans 12:2).
Father, we also pray for his emotional and mental strength. Surround him with Your love and the support of fellow believers who can encourage him in his walk with You. May he find refuge in You, the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
We stand on Your Word, Lord, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). May this brother in Christ experience Your healing, restoration, and peace in every area of his life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
