protection and healing

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Please pray that if it is God's will the bad storms will miss us and that we can keep power and also please pray for good health, happiness and healing for my family. I pray God will allow me to hear my son ###'s laughter again today. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We lift your request to our Heavenly Father with heavy yet hopeful hearts, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. You seek protection from storms, both the physical ones that threaten your home and the emotional ones that weigh upon your spirit. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. The Word assures us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas" (Psalm 46:1-2). We pray that if it is His will, the storms would pass you by, sparing your home, your power, and your peace. Yet even if the winds howl, we trust that He will hold you fast, for His promises are sure.

Your longing to hear your son’s laughter again pierces our hearts, for joy is a gift from the Lord, and grief over its absence is deeply felt. We pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual, for your entire family. May the Great Physician touch each one of you, restoring health where there is sickness, strength where there is weakness, and laughter where there has been sorrow. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We ask the Lord to fill your home with His presence, that even in quiet moments, you would sense His nearness and the hope that only He can provide.

We also lift up your family’s happiness, knowing that true joy is found in Christ alone. In a world that often seeks fulfillment in temporary things, we pray that your household would root itself in the eternal. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). May your family walk in the abundance of life that Jesus offers, finding purpose and gladness in Him.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You that through His sacrifice, we have access to Your grace, mercy, and power. We ask that You would shield this family from harm, heal their bodies and hearts, and fill their days with Your peace. Let Your will be done in their lives, and may they trust in You even when the path is unclear. We rebuke fear, doubt, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal their joy or disrupt their faith. Instead, we declare that Your love surrounds them like a shield, and Your goodness follows them all the days of their lives.

Lord, we ask that You would restore laughter to their home, not just for a moment, but as a testimony of Your faithfulness. May your son’s joy be a reflection of the joy that comes from knowing You, and may his laughter be a sound that echoes Your goodness. We pray for unity in their family, that they would encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and grow together in faith. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).

We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they would draw near to You daily, seeking Your face and Your will. May they find their strength in You, their hope in Your promises, and their peace in Your presence. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Let this family be a light to others, showing the world what it means to trust in You through every storm.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache behind these words, the sound of your son’s laughter is a precious thing, and the longing to hear it again today tells us a lot about your heart. We’re holding that image with you, alongside the very real worry about the approaching storms and the wellbeing of your family.

When we can’t control the weather or the heaviness someone we love is carrying, it’s easy to feel small. But bringing those specific desires to God, exactly as you did, is never small. We’re grateful you reached out.

As we pray, we’ll ask for your protection and for the gift of your son’s laughter to fill your home again. But even while the storm clouds are still on the horizon, we hope you can sense that God is already with you in the waiting. He doesn’t stand far off until the danger passes; he sits with you in the uncertainty, and his kindness is big enough to hold both your fear and your hope.

Father, thank you for this family and for a mother’s love that listens for her son’s joy. Please shelter them from the storms in whatever way you know is best, and give them what they need if the power goes out. We ask for good health, deep healing, and the return of laughter in their home, that sound of life and lightness that they miss right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The tempest is in His hand, and He sends forth the wind out of His treasuries. It is well that you ask, "if it be God's will," for our desires must ever bow to His sovereign pleasure. We may pray with boldness for protection, knowing that He cares for His children. Should the storm pass by, give Him thanks; should it come, trust that the Lord has a purpose in the wind and rain, and that His grace will be your shelter. Power lines may fail, but the light of His countenance never dims. True security lies not in an unbroken supply of earthly comforts, but in the God who gives them.

You long for health, happiness, and especially the sound of your son's laughter. That is a natural and tender desire, yet let me point you to a happiness that no circumstance can steal. Pardon of sin is the root of all lasting joy. When the soul is washed in the blood of Jesus, a fountain of gladness springs up within, independent of outward ease. Seek this first: bow at His feet and cry, "Blot out all my iniquities." Then shall your mouth be filled with laughter, a laughter born of Heaven's own peace, even if the earthly echo be delayed. The Lord who gave you that motherly love knows how to restore the merry voice of your child; but deeper still, He can put a new song in your own heart, a song of praise to our God.

Healing is the specialty of the great Physician. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is no disease of body or mind that His touch cannot cure. He who forgave the palsied man and made him rise up whole is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Spread your case before Him. Plead the promises. Whether He restores health in an instant or gradually, you shall find that His grace is sufficient, and His strength made perfect in weakness. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings; place yourself and your household beneath those beams.

We join our prayers with yours, asking that the storms may pass, that sickness may flee, and that your home may resound once more with the gladness of youth. But above all, we ask that you and your family may know the joy of the Lord, which is your strength, and the peace which passeth all understanding. Commit your way unto Him, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is I, be not afraid. These words the Lord spoke when He came to His disciples on the stormy sea, and at once the wind ceased and they were safe. So now, when you cry out for protection from the storms that threaten your home and for the health of your family, know that He allows such trials that you may seek Him with all your heart, and by your will you draw down the gracious influence that alone can deliver. The woman who begged for her daughter’s healing heard, Great is your faith; be it unto you even as you will. So great is the power of faith that it calls down what seems impossible.

Do not let the fear of loss or sickness enslave you, for you are not without power. The power is God’s, but we draw it by a willing soul. Make your soul a heaven, bright and high above the changing clouds. When the mind is careful about divine matters and ever hangs over the fountain of life, neither tribulation nor the wiles of the devil can touch it; a great calm possesses it. In that calm, the laughter you long to hear from your son will be restored, for it is the Lord who heals all your diseases and fills your mouth with rejoicing.

Stand, therefore, having put on the whole armor of God. The time is short. He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise up us through His power. Ask in the name of Jesus, and let your request be with thanksgiving, for the Gospel of the Son is the Gospel of the Father, and all things are yours in Him. Do not despair if the answer tarries; as a tree that receives many strokes yet finally falls, so the soul that hears the word and persists will surely bring forth fruit. Only remain in this house of healing, write the law of the Spirit upon your heart, and the enemy will flee. The Lord who stilled the storm is near; He will speak peace, and you shall hear again the voice of gladness in your dwelling.

I know the weight of watching a storm approach, both the kind you see on a radar and the kind that stirs inside a home when loved ones suffer. In both, we quickly learn the difference between knowing God has power and resting in His will. The leper in Scripture had no doubt Jesus could heal; his only question was, Will you? That is often where we live. You asked that if it is God’s will the storms would miss you, and that is the honest cry of a trusting heart.

We see that same tension in the life of the Apostle Paul. He endured a literal tempest at sea that raged for days, long enough that the crew lost all hope of survival. Yet the Lord had not abandoned the ship. He was guiding the storm toward an island full of people ready to receive the gospel. Paul did not sit in silence and dread; he took bread, gave thanks to God in front of everyone, and ate. That simple act of gratitude in the chaos was a demonstration of faith, not in the storm’s outcome, but in the God who rides above it.

The Son of God demonstrated His authority over every realm. He stilled the winds and waves with a command. He healed the sick and delivered the tormented. His power has not diminished, and the lack we sometimes perceive does not lie with Him. Yet we are not called to seek power for its own sake, as if the spiritual life were a mechanism to control circumstances. There is a better way, the path of love. Paul himself pleaded three times for a thorn to be removed and heard that grace was sufficient. Not every illness or hardship lifts, even when faith is genuine. That does not mean healing is not for today; it means we place every request in the hands of a Father who knows what we truly need.

So we can pray boldly for the storms to pass by your home and for your family’s health and joy. We can ask specifically for the sound of your son’s laughter to fill your house again, because the Lord who touched Peter’s mother-in-law and she rose to serve is the same Lord who delights in restoring what is broken. Physical healing is woven into the atonement; it is not only a spiritual metaphor. But deeper than any one gift is the presence of the Healer Himself. When you felt too sick to move and then in a moment knew strength return, you understood that His touch often defies explanation.

The power that darkened minds and held souls captive is broken by the cross. If your son is walking through a season where joy has faded, the enemy’s grip of heaviness cannot withstand the light of Christ. I join my faith with yours that you will hear his laughter again, whether that comes through a swift touch or a steady journey of renewal. In the meantime, do not let go of the practice Paul modeled: give thanks in the presence of all your fears. The same Lord who was with that shipwrecked apostle is with your family, and He makes a calm out of the storm so that you reach the haven He desires.

Lift your eyes now. The storm’s roar is not louder than His voice, and His will toward you is good. May the word of Christ dwell in your hearts richly, and may His healing presence bring the laughter you are longing to hear.
